I get to be part of a team, their like a diverse family to me. I enjoy wearing the uniform, the camaraderie, going to competitions, doing parades, shooting for Rifle Team. Well I've enjoyed it enough to decide to enlist after I'm done with High School and College. 3nodding

It gave me a sense of pride, and courage. I now have the mentality to face a challenge, and walk right over it.

JROTC is the first time I've actually felt like I belong. I fit right in, and it makes me happy. I do as much as I can with the program. Drill team, colorguard, air rifle, cadet chorus, and hopefully raiders next year. Go Army! HOOAH!!!!!

Pheonix_Vamp Jrotc give me things to look forward to. And its like a whole another family very true! the camaraderie is most welcoming in the hostile high school atmosphere! Also the motivation, the fitness, the... everything! Ahhhh! i miss JROTC, it was sometimes the only reason i got out of bed. Then i graduated and not i'm in college and can't yell "HOO-RAH!!!" at the top of my lungs without people giving me funny looks... At least i'm taking Land Nav with Staff Sergeant Austin where i can still do that! lol! ^_^

I liked having leadership being thrust upon me to challenge myself. Then looking back I smile when I think about how much I developed in the four short years.

Black-Fire-Ice24 i would go to JROTC than any other class Although JROTC does not condone this action. your dedication is appreciated. My NJROTC would let me skip class in there as long as i can provide a pass from the teacher of the class i was supposed to be in. Of course, i'd only do this if they weren't doing anything in the class i was supposed to be in... <_<
