Some people are sopranos, others are altos. Some lucky people are bass or tenor! Just how low can you go? Here you can discuss vocal ranges and things that relate to them!

i'll start
according to the singing teacher at school, i can range from the D below middle C to the 3rd F above middle C, i high range to go with my lovely high voice lol

I'm a soprano in my church choir because we need them, but I can sing alto too(and prefer it). My voice instructor(she's really one half of our tenor section) says I have a three octave range! I hit a high C once too. My voice instructor was a tenor since she had lung problems, but she sang soprano last week! Talk about a range! She lost her voice, and when she got it back, she could sing soprano! It was pretty cool.

Last time I fully tested my range, it was D3 to C7, but full-voice (not warm up vocalises) the usable is more like G3 to G6. I have subbed for tenors in choral pieces, but not good tenors, high-school and 80-year-old breathy tenors.
