Nice. I'd LOVE to learn some type of percussion, but I've never had the chance. I'm mediocre with clarinet, and keyboard, and bass guitar, and saxophone, but my chosen instrument is definitely the flute. I want a piccolo really bad, though...

I blow, bang and finger. Go figure. xd
I mostly do the banging though. I get straight to the point.
I am a Percussionist mainly. I play everything. I have a standard drum kit, 5 piece Tama stage star with a crash, ride and splash. Simple double pedal (even though I barely use that). I sometimes use mallets on my drum kit much like Maureen "moe" Tucker from the Velvet Underground would.
I also play a lot of Latin Percussion since I'm Cuban. Bongos, Timbales, and Congas being the main ones I like the play.
I play the flute.. badly. And the Ocarina.. badly. xd
As for fingering, I used to be a bass player for a band back when I was 17. 3nodding I can't play Guitar very well unless I play on a child's guitar. My fingers are very short. rofl

I'm a bassist, both electric (still getting a feel for this one) and Stand up Double Bass. The latter I grew up playing so I know it fairly well smile I would know it better had I paid attention to the more technical stuff in school XD I can read music fine, just don't ask me what the notes are.....It's kinda sad actually >.>

Gaga-Sexual We are looking for a bassist so hard. Why can't more people play it? sad I'd volunteer my time but I highly doubt you live in Alaska XD And I've wondered that same thing :/ I guess it just takes a certain type of person to stick to it. Most of the bassists I've met, myself included, are generally a card or two short of a full deck. It might explain a few things whee

I'm thinking of learning it. My band might just stay a three piece and we can find live musicians some how. I mean, I used to play bass back in the day but I forgot a lot of it. sad

Of all the bassists I know personally none of them are in bands. They play with several here and there, guns for hire sort of thing. But either way, Good Luck! biggrin
