it seems that the value of human life is not as important as it once was
ppl hear in the news all the time about ppl getting murdered and raped and childern dying and stuff and now it doesn't hardly phase us
i think that ppl don't really have an understanding of death untill they have experienced it up close
ppl just dont care anymore sad

ChronicParadox it seems that the value of human life is not as important as it once was ppl hear in the news all the time about ppl getting murdered and raped and childern dying and stuff and now it doesn't hardly phase us i think that ppl don't really have an understanding of death untill they have experienced it up close ppl just dont care anymore sad It ceases to phase people because you hear about it all the time,
it doesn't mean they don't care it's more like people have simply become detached.
Most people have experienced death and if not well they probably will soon enough.

but nah. if there wasn't bad in the world, there couldn't be any good,
because there wouldn't be any differences, people would just live and
it'd all be neutral 'cause good would be all there is...
so i guess we all have to accept the bad to appreciate the good.

so i guess we all have to accept the bad to appreciate the good. That's dualism. I used to think that, but while you're enjoying something, don't you have a wistful feeling about it being over? Good doesn't depend on evil, it's the other way around. There's more then one type of good (like strength and kindness are completely different) and they can still be enjoyed without evil. Really the only thing that's wrong with this world, that causes everything else to go wrong, is sin.
