I tried taking pics of a gold finch today when I went to the lakefront, but it kept flying away when I got close D:

I love hawks. There was one nesting in the tree right outside my friend's balcony. Not sure if he ever got any good photos of it though.
Birds are hard to capture without a good telephoto lens.

Is the first one a gold finch?
