Matt smith, do you think he'll cut it and hold the same intrest that david did? Let everyone know your thoughts on the 11th doctor!

I'm actually kind of biased because I'm a major Tennant fan (Casanova = Brilliant!) I'm kind of hesitant on Matt because he's so new and so young. I don't think you can really have a bad doctor though because really the series is so brilliantly set up so that the story molds to the doctor. Because each doctor is different and the scriptwriters form to their personalities. So regardless I'm super excited!

Matt has some big shoes to fill but he was really good in "The ruby in the smoke". David Tennant was really good and I don't think will be forgotten easily. I can't wait for water of mars or the SJA

O_o Matt's a bit young and a lot of who fans I know have been complaining that it doesn't make the Doctor look as Wise as he should be, I personaly think David should be the youngest Doctor. No one below the age og 30 cause it just seems weird...like imagin him regenerating into a teenager o_O

but yeah I agree he has some big shoes to fill for some odd reason I'm kinda worried he's gon na suck.. you know like the guy they had p[lay the 8th doctor in the doctor who movie... I didn't think he was that good...

Well David himself said in an interview (I think it was on Doctor Who Confidential), that he really thinks Matt is brilliant and will do it right! Of course I'm still hesitant as well, but I am going to watch his debut as The Doctor with an open mind. If David thinks he's good enough, then that's good enough for me! ^_^ heart

I think Matt will do all right. RTD seems rather particular about his Doctors, after all.

As for him being young, they said the same thing when Peter Davidson took over as the Fifth Doctor when Tom Baker left the show. Let's give him a chance!

That true Perter was 29 when he first did Doctor who, and he was amazing.

Did RTD pick Matt? I thought it might have been Steven Moffet since he's taking over the show...My only probablem with Moffets writing is he like to make his character irrestable...or they love the Doctor right off the bat. Jack I can live with. Madam de Pompder needs to die repeatedly, River Song buged me to no end...Sally Sparrow well neutral I dunno

RTD is executive producer, I though, so I assumed his input was involved.

I think he'll do a great job, I think that's the beauty of the show the change and it's great to see how each regenaration turns out to be.

I agree with about that. It's gonna be hard to follow such a popular Doctor like David Tennant. The 9th & 10th Doctors were the ones who got me into watching Doctor Who. I'm willing to give the new guy a chance. Hope David goes out with a bang.

Matt Smith will do well, I think.... He seems like the kind of guy who will attract attention but I don't know if the girls are going to be obsessing over him anymore... But you never know... I think he'll do just fine. I will miss the alonsy thing, though... He says geronimo! And that is a bit strange for me.

True but before Allons-y, was Fantastic! which was Chris's catchphrase. There will be many more catchphrases in the future I am sure.
