This is for the application for Ramak and Fuega to become life mates. Please do not post this is a private rp. How we MetSitting quietly off by herself Fuega heaved a sigh as the sun set, the fiery red light deepening the color of her fur.

A stillness fell over the area, and as the sun set, the shadows deepened until finally a figure stepped from them at Fuegas side. The breeze ruffled the cape at his back as he stretched his wings and peered off into the distance.
"Why do you sound so sullen my dear? That sigh does not suit you, your essence is far more vibrant and alive than that. Come, what ails you?"
He turned his gaze downward towards her and smiled, extending his arm to offer his hand to her.

She jumped at the sudden appearance then gave him a smile, "Only feeling a bit lonely. But I believe that has been remedied now." In return a black palmed hand grasped his.

He peered at her quizzically for a moment due to her words but smiled and pulled her to her feet, enveloping her form in a wing as he did so.
"Tell me my dear, how have you been? I apologize for my absence but I spend a great deal of time in reflection of my past. I do hope you can forgive me for that."
He bowed his head to her after he spoke, not looking up until he received a response.

She watched him for a long moment. "I have been well. My tolerance for the others here has grown greatly. Though there are a few I still can't stand." Her nose twitched with anger at the thought of Aggy but it was quickly dismissed. "Even still I feel out of place, more of standing on the outside looking in than being one of them." It was then she looked back out where she had been sitting, "I am glad you are back." Fuega softly spoke, "But what of you past have you been reflecting on? If you don't mind me asking."

He chuckled softly and looked to her before brushing a claw along her cheek. His past wasn't normally something he discussed, it was difficult for him to understand at times and yet at others it was crystal clear why he made the decisions that he had.
"There was a time of great strife and chaos in the cosmos. Some of us who were not happy with the way things were rose up and challenged what can only be seen as 'Absolute' Power, we in the end dealt a decisive blow, but victory was not achieved and so we were struck down. Things have changed because of our 'Traitorous and Heinous' acts, but only because of our, I suppose Sacrifice would be the proper word, has anything changed at all.
I was one of those who stood against the order at the time and thus I am now what you see before you. Stripped of my rank, most of my power, and the majority of my spirit. I am still myself, but not much more than a shell of my former being. There are times where I reflect on my choices and why I made them, though if I could do it all over again I would not change my course. It simply puts me at ease at times to be able to reflect and show myself that I did the right thing, at the cost of myself."
His eyes closed and his head bowed as he became silent, his wings tightening about her as he did.
"There is much of those times I would tell you, but it cannot be now. I am not yet ready to speak of everything that occurred."

Brushing her hand against his cheek, "I know you will tell me in due time." she purred. Leaning up to him she was now face to face with him, only a small distance between their lips, " How I have missed you so....."

His lips curled into a soft smile before he pressed them lightly to hers. She made him feel alive in ways he hadn't imagined he could feel in ages, and it was wonderful to know that even if he was no longer who he use to be, he was still alive.
"As I have missed you, my beloved... How have you kept yourself occupied in my absence?"
He pulled her close to him, embracing her warmly as he awaited her answer.

Thinking for a moment, "It's been...difficult. There are very few I can speak with. Old Agatha is the only one that seems to have any sense. And I still want to kill Aggy." her nose wrinkled before looking up at him, "But none of that matters now. You're here." Fuega purred as she let her tail curl around him.

He chuckled softly, and brushed his fingers through her hair a gentle smile still on his lips. He did worry about how she would manage with the others at time, even he worried how he would deal with some of them. It wasn't as if he could just wantonly silence those that irritated him, like he would have done many years prior. No, it was a completely different time and place, and those actions would not be acceptable.
"Well, I am glad my presence can put you at ease... Old Agatha you say? Who is that?"

With a shrug, "To be honest I really don't know her all to well. She's a old, white and brown Leekozri is all. She helped me see that my lack of memory may be for the better...."

He nodded slowly, there were many leekozri that he had yet to meet and thus he could not pretend to know everyone. In time he would meet many of those he did not yet know, and hopefully he'd be able to learn a thing or two about the present state of the world.
"I see. Perhaps she is right, memories are sometimes blocked due to trauma or for other such relevant reasons."

His features twisted with the early stages of pondering as he considered her words, absentminded movement of his claws through her hair came as a result of his thought.
"Creating a new past is good, but it is not the past that one should dwell upon. Focus on carving a future, one where you are happy and find your hearts desires fulfilled. That is what we should aim for, no?"

A black ear flicked, "Indeed. You are right. but finding what it is I desire is hard. All I can ever remember wanting is to hurt and destroy... but now...that's not the best solution....nor is it the best desire..."
