The Purpose For This RP
- To give Guilders a place to hang out for some casual, no-pressure RPing!
- To let the Guilders get to know each other.
- To give Guilders a place to practice their writing and RPing skills.
- To give Guilders a place to RP without worrying about differing literacy levels.
- To have fun!
The Law!
The Rules For The Screaming Pen
- Be patient. Don't simply bump, try to RP a bit (even if it's with yourself).
- Be tolerant of the different literacy levels. Some of us might take it more seriously than others - others might be less into it.
- Try to limit the use of "chatspeak".
- Limit the amount of OOC (Out of Character) chat. Indicate it with (()) or [[]] - just so we know what you're RPing and what you're really saying.
The Lounge!
The Set Up And Technicalities of The Screaming Pen
Layout
- The front entrance is a set of sliding glass doors.
- The bar is on the left hand side when you walk in. It has quite a few stools and a large selection of drinks.
- There is a large dance floor on the far end of the lounge (you can see it from the doors).
- Between the doors and the dance floor are a group of tables and simple chairs.
- On the right hand side of the lounge are sets of couches and tables.
How The Bar Works
- The bar is an "open bar". You can walk right behind it and mix your own drink, if you like.
- You can also order from the player-controlled bartender/wait staff. Don't give them names - you can PM me if you have a name you really want to see, though.
- If you're stumped for a drink, you can tell the bartender to "mix you a drink" and you can wing it from there.
- Once I have a good amount of drinks, I'll set up a list in my Journal that you can refer to if you're stuck.
