Does anyone else feel really sad when you find out that Kurama had a girlfriend? I mean Maya is really cute and all, but i feel pained... He liked her too, they went out in middle school, but even though it wasnt in the anime series its in the mangas... i think it was an extra on how Hiei and Kurama met... Its sad thinking that Kurama isnt single crying but they are a cute couple heart

Yes that was in like volume......17? i think.... She was attacked by a demon or something or saw something she shouldn't.something along those lines. He had to erase her memory and then he never talked to her again...
That is Kurama's problem..It'll be hard for him to be with a normal person. But maybe since things in demon world have calmed down some he can kind of lead a normal life...But he'll always still be demon....and .....poor Kurama crying We could sit here and have a loooooongggggggg discussion on this . A loooonnnnnnggg one.

I do very much agree with you. They do make a wonderful couple if she had still kept her memory, but its still sad that they do have feelings for each other, yet they still cant be together. Kurama is just too nice of a guy to have Maya get hurt...[which furthers my current infatuation with him] It was also sad they didn't keep in contact... I absolutely hated the part where he said
"I will have to earse her memories and the memories of her love for me."
I wanted to cry so badly!!
I think at the end she happened to [in the japanese RAW anime] be with this other guy. I think it was at the end of the senshui season where she's helping out the dead cat and lets the other boy know about it...
PS did you notice her name is Hitajima Maya? isnt that the same name as the girl in The Glass Kamen anime/manga? They seriously look alike!! but theyre by two different magakas... emo

i've never read the manga, but i saw an AMV about kurama and maya on youtube. they looked so cute together! it was sad that he had to erase her memory. there was no happy ending. crying poor kurama! he may never have a normal life!

ps-kurama was cute with short hair, but i like the long hair better.
ps-(again, lol)-the person that posted this video has kindly provided a explanation about who maya is in the sidebar of the video. that was very useful for people(like me) who haven't read the manga. i plan on reading it soon.

XD i have read the manga razz but it still pains me to wonder what will happened when the series is finished and will he ever have a normal life after the last episode crying its sad that he had to give up maya because of his powers but now that things are in order again shouldnt he have the chance to pursue his owe desires?
