What do you like to eat while you're reading or writing?

I love to munch on crunchy crackers and cool milk. It makes me sleepy and helps me get absorbed in the story more.

Hmmm...
I like to munch on something like carrots, cucumbers or bread when I read. I like to have something to chew on while I chew on the story.
As for writing, it really depends... Sometimes (most times) it's nothing but water. Sometimes it's a home-made vegetarian pizza, tofu jerky and chips. For the last few days of any huge assignment or time-limit writing project (NaNo/ScriptFrenzy) it's tea/energy drinks and chips.

Depending on the book, I'm usually drinking some sort of tea while I read. Moderns I usually go with lemon honey tea; books with a classic feel I usual read while drinking black or green tea and paranormals are read with mint and honey. - we who have fallen

Why is it that everyone loves tea? I find it a most vile drink. While I was in China, we went to this tea convention; i swear I must have tried 20 different types of tea! I officially, after that, despised tea. Perhaps you find that strange, but there are just some things a person doesn't like. For instance: I love french fries and potatoe chips, but you try making me eat mashed potatoes or baked potatoes, I feel like gagging. I would rather starve than eat potatoes. Same with certain chickens; they are simply favorless! - A_Trying_Writer

I don't really like to eat while I read. Because some of what I eat usually gets on my hands, and I don't want any crumbs or grease to get on my books. I'm usually drinking a soda when I read, though.
