Near happened to be walking around, recalling old memories, when he saw Tasmi. "Tasmi-san!" he said, walking over to her. It's been a while hasn't it? So how is the village?"

"Me? Well, I just got back from Konoha. It's very different there, but it's okay..." Near looked down at the snow. "...The Akatsuki attacked there, you know. Not only them, but the Sound and the Rain, too. Both influenced to do so by the Akatsuki...I can't help but think it was because of me, because, well, you know...," he said, referring to the beast inside of him. "But I'm puzzled because of it. Their leader is a jinchuriki, too. I don't understand why he wants to hunt after his own kind." He lifted his head, and smiled. "But we can't keep our minds set on the past, can we? Other than, I'm fine."

"Yeah, I guess," he said, his smile fading. "Well, I have to attend to some matters at my office. I'll see you later." Near walked along, up torwrds his office, but he stopped. "Hey...I think those things can wait...and anyway, it's been a while since I've had a good sparring match." His smile came back. "Well, what do ya say?"

"Great," he said, already stretching. "I need to drain some chakra, so basically, anything goes. Except genjutsu." Near finished, and drew out his pipe. "One more thing. Please don't go easy on me, just because I'm younger than you. May the best ninja win." He easily focused his chakra. "Yukinami (Snow wave)." The large wave of snow drifted across the ground, gaining speed torwards Tasmi.

'Yes,' he thought. "Storm Style: Hurricane Torrent." His custom jutsu appeared around him, only defending him from the fire balls. Near used quick squirts of water to disignite the shruiken, and caught them with his fingers. "Tasmi-san. A ninja always tries to use his opponet's attacks against them," he said, referring to the water she had just melted. "Suiton: Fuuma Mizu Shruiken (Evil Windmill Water Shruiken)." He formed two of the large water forms, and fastly directed them torwards her, ending his small storm with it.

Near watched as Tasmi came, slashing at both of his shoulders. He dodged the lightning attack, and with that momentum, caught the two swords with his pipe. Slight burn marks ran down his fingers where the shruiken had been. He was relatively surprised. He had known Tasmi pretty much all his life, and how she had gained cloud jutsu, he had no clue. "Tasmi-san...you've grown in strength. However...so have I." He focused some chakra to his pipe. "Merge...Raiton!" His pipe then changed forms into a whiplash-like sword, emitting large amounts of electricity. He wrapped the coils around her sword, and pulled them out of her hands. He jumped back, and started to pant slightly. "I figured out how to change my pipe into different forms by merging it with chakra types. However, it takes HUGE amounts of chakra to do so. And it only lasts for a period of time." He steadied himself into fighting composure. "So get ready."

Tasmi watched as her katanas were pulled from her hands and jumped back from Near. She watched as Near's weapon must use a huge amount of chakra and watched him as she pulled out her ten kunais. She threw them all into the air then jumped after them. While in the air, she grabbed each one of the kunai's and threw them towards Near and while she was doing that she was preforming handseals. "Katon Housenka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Mythical Fire Flower Technique)!" She launched 10 small fire balls directly at kunai's to have the kunai's ignite with fire, even having them heated up to a tempeture where it would give second degree burns.
