Gringotts Wizarding Bank is the only known bank of the wizarding world, and is owned and operated by Goblins. It was created by the goblin Gringott. Its British branch is located in Diagon Alley in London, England. In addition to storing money and valuables for wizards and witches, one can go there to exchange Muggle money for wizarding money.

This snowy-white building towers over neighbouring shops. Customers pass through a set of bronze doors and then an additional set of silver doors before entering the lobby. The main floor is paved with marble and has long counters stretching along its length. The vaults are miles below, accessible through rough stone passageways and then by means of magic carts that travel speedily along mining tracks. Dragons and other mysterious beasts lurk in the depths as additional security devices.

Hawk had come to Gringotts to gather up what money he could from the vault his family had placed there years ago. They were not rich, not in coin anyway, so all that was really there were powerful artifacts of magic and history, things that were truly priceless. Having reached the vaults with one of the few goblins he liked and trusted completely, Hawk had only been able to fill his pouch before running out of money to take. Few believed, and fewer knew, just how poor the family was when it came to money. The only money that Hawk possessed outside of his parents was what was in his own bank, but he had been ordered to let them pay for school his final year, so Hawk would not argue. Many things could be said about Hawk StarWind Luvarnitaro, but an oathbreaker wasn't one of them. Once he gave his word, he would never break it, and never succumb to anything trying to force him to do so. It was part of his family curse, you could say.

At any rate, thanking the goblins in the bank for their hospitality and continued protection with much grace and cheerfulness, Hawk exited the great and ancient bank, considering the sad state of his funds. He had access to his family's fortune, which was large thanks to his grandfather's place in the defeat of the one-time Dark Lord, Voldemort. Lupin the werewolf had died in that final battle, but not before it was discovered that he had had a daughter. That daughter had married his father, and he was born. But thanks to that, they had a fortune. However, Hawk didn't like using money that he'd been given instead of earned, and thus now he was a poor mofo. Course, it wouldn't last long. He was going to be joining the Auror's on some hunt this year, and they paid him well for his help. Whether most knew it or not, he was one of the best Truth Seekers in the world, as well as perhaps the best at tracking.

Stopping there, Hawk, chuckled. He didn't have much humbleness in that thought, now did he? Looking around for his next stop, Hawk continued on.

Remi Reverne

Remi stared at his mother's paperwork. "Do I have to go to the rest of Diagon alley alone, Okaa-san? I dont now my way around, nor did I know I was a wizard until this letter came into the mail.... and your job, Okaa-san...." Remi frowned as he put his head down. His mother looked like as if she was a Veela, but was a muggle.... purely human. Remi frowned, as his mother looked up at him. "My sweet Ru-ru..... I'll ask one of the gobins to escort you through Diagon alley, with wizard galloon.... 3500 of them. It's for schooling, and some for a snack for you and your caretaker for now." His mother smiled, and gave him a sack of gallons. "Ok, Okaa-san. I wont spend it at one place!" Remi grinned, as a Goblin had came to his side, as his mother whispered to it; causing it to have seemed to look at Remi strangely, then shook his head. The goblin grabbed Remi's arm, and taken him to the robe shop first, with his list of school supplies. "See you Okaa-san!" Remi waved and walked out the door. "Dont get a pet! I have one for you already!" His mother yelled after him, hoping he'll be ok with the new world; She wasnt used to it either, but she was one of the most trusted muggles around, and was very pitied on, but that story is for later.
