The main parking area for the X-Jet (aka the Blackbird). The Blackbird is highly advanced jet with cloaking capabilities that can escape even the most sophisticated radar and sonar systems. No one is permitted to enter this area without getting clearance so that accidents and joyrides can be prevented.

-photon got in the cockpit of the Blackbird and switched on the controls- whew its been while but it's just like riding a bike - he then put the jet in standby and opened the ramp to allow the others to get in-

(ooc: even if you are eager realpayne you shouldnt control other people's characters without their consent. besides its not like you'll miss anything since i'm the one controlling the Sentenels. haha ^_^ patience, patience)

You see me as a lost teenager
But you have no idea... Pyra walked in close behind Jake and stood in awe of the jet for only a minute before some force pushed her towards it.
It was exciting, she had never flown before.
She rolled her sleeves down and brought her hood close to her neck so that her skin wouldn't touch the chair that she sat in. The last thing that she wanted to do was to burn the jet down.
"I have a question," she said quietly, hoping to not be a bother. "What is a sin-tin-a- eel," she asked sounding out the word then playing with the word in her mind.
I know what I have done...
I don't even have to look in the mirror
To see that I am a monster...

But you have no idea... Pyra's eyes held angry flames. "Mechs and humans...they all work alike," she hissed. She was ready to go and kick some metal butt. Though, she also knew, fighting metal with fire, just doesn't work.
"But humans make the mechs....so it should not surprise me," she mused as she peered out one of the jet windows.

But you have no idea... Pyra noticed that Jacke buckled himself in and glanced at her bare hands. The buckle was metal, but the straps would burn. That she knew.
Quickly she buckled herself in and pulled the strap, accidentally singeing it a bit. She hung her head and stopped the small flame.
"Curse it all," she muttered, talking about her power. Her eyes glanced around again.

But you have no idea... Pyra looked up at the gloves in surprise. She stared at them for a minute before slowly reaching out for them and then putting them on. They seemed to fit nicely.
"Thank you," she said quietly, ashamed that she even to have such things but it was at least better than setting fire to everything that she touched.

ok guys looks like we're it. starting lauch in 3..2..1 -the hangar doors opened and the Blackbird bolted off into the sky for New York City-

But you have no idea... After getting back to the jet and taking a seat. Happy to be on some what sturdy ground again, Pyra kept quiet and stared out the window. She had never flown before. It wasn't all that amazing, in fact, it gave her an odd feeling in her stomach. One that she wasn't sure that she liked.
To take her mind off of things, she lit a small flame and began to practice molding it into shapes, making it grow and shrink. She made a small book with the flame and opened it in the air, in front of her. The pages began flipping and then slowly it took the form of a small horse that ran across her hand.
When they finally made it back to the Institute, Pyra closed a fist over the flame with the slight jolt that made her stomach jolt. She frowned and almost glared at Photon, but it wasn't his fault. She was the one that wanted to tag along. Only because she didn't know where else to go.

-the jet landed and the team got out- sorry for the bit of turbulence there guys. this baby's got some kick behind her haha. at any rate this calls for a celebration. i'll go order some pizza and we'll meet in the dining room whadda ya say? -photon then walked over to pyra- oh and pyra. i almost forgot. if you'd like to have an official X-Men uniform just lemmie know and i'll get you a fireproof one that way you dont accidentally get your normal clothes damaged in battle. also if you'd like feel free to practice your powers in the Danger Room. I or someone else can activate the training program and you can go there any time you like. Plus i'd like to join you on occasion that way i can train too. its a good way to build team strategy and power mastery. well at any rate i'll leave you alone. i gotta order the pizza -photon walked over to the elevator and went up to the commons area-
