Description: It's in the garden, no one has any clue where the water comes from, maybe someone will discover the answer to the mystery of the moonlight waterfall? The water for everyone is collected from the waterfall, it's very clean and pure. Why it was nicknamed the moonlight waterfall is because of course it is extremely beautiful at night when the moon twinkles on the water's surface. It is also said by some of the teens that a cavern opens up in the bottom of the pond on the full moon but no one has confirmed this as of yet.

Keri had lead ace to the pond and had him wait by the edge with the bucket. Now she crouched on the flat rock that over looked the pond her tail swishing back and forth. All her concentraction on the silvery flashes beneath the water. She leaned forward got right to the edge of the rock her ears pulled back against her hair. Suddenly she lunged into the water. She surfaced with two medium fish one in each hand. she stood up and walked over to ace and dropped the fish into the bucket smiling feeling slightly proud for herself.

Greg looked into the bucket an eyebrow quirked at her ability, he looked up into her eyes, his ears twitching with curiosity, "Where did you learn that?" It reminded him of an Arte, a spell for physical performance, yet the seemed a little different. Looking into the pond Greg wondered if he would be able to successfully cast a spell... best not try, probably light the pond on fire.

Keri's face clouded and she looked away. She thought back to how her first "master" had forced her to fish for him. She thought back to what happened when she had returned empty handed, She flinched at the thought. " I um just um. . pick it up." She said quietly. Her ears drooped in shame. Quickly to cover her actions she climbed back up to the rock. "I just need to get one more, okay?"

Greg's ears drooped, he could see she was remembering something painful, and on the thought of something painful he remembered the apple tree, for a few moments he remembered the cloaked figure that had pierced the leader to the tree. Truth be told he was beginning to get restless, he had a voice inside him telling him that he had to go find out who it was, "Sorry... for bringing up a painful memory." his tail was low and his eyes we're on the ground.

She looked at him in surprise, apparently she hadn't hidden it well enough. Her ears drooped in shame. "No ace, you have nothing to apologize for. It's my fault for being so weak." She glared at the pond water. why did the past still affect her? "i'm free here yet everything from before still has effects." She felt the tears of frustration prickle at her eyes, but she wasnt about to let them make an appearence. She dove into the water reaching for the nearest fish she secured it with her sharp nails and surfaced. "gottcha" she said making her way back to ace. She smiled at him, and let the fish fall into the bucket he was holding. She realized she wouldnt be able to hold his hand on the way back since he was carrying the bucket. The thought saddened her for some reason.

Greg was glaring at her when she came out of the pond, he didn't even look down to see the fish she had caught. Something was different now, both his ears were perked high and his tail was twitching violently, as the thud of the fish sounded in the bucket he spoke, "No, your strong, your one of the ones who chose to keep on living, here in the garden. You're not one of the cowards who fled life by taking there own." His top lip was drawn back a little showing one of his fangs, "Besides, it's not like the past was wiped from your life. It's part of you so of course it still has effects. But don't be saddened by it too much, or hate it all, because it shaped you into the beautiful person you are today." Greg wasn't sure if his point was getting across, but he sure hoped he didn't offend her anymore.

After dropping the fish in the bucket, Ace started speaking to her. When she looked at him she took a step back in surprise and her eyes widened. He was . . .angry? he was standing there telling her that she was strong cause she chose to live. the only reason i'm still her is cause i refused to give the humans that satisfaction. they took everything else, her life was all that was her own. Now he bared one of his fangs at her, she noticed how much larger it was then her own, this frightened her slightly. His last sentence stunned her and made her look away. no one had ever defended her past to her, not that she had told anyone but the widow. yet this boy proclaimed it had made her into a beautiful person. it nearly made her want to cry. However what did he mean by having the past wiped away? Has he lost his past? by this time her ears and tail were as low as they could be with shame and embarassment. she wanted to ask, wanted to know, but she didnt dare ask not now. she merely nodded at his words.

Greg had put the bucket on the ground and stepped towards her, his face was calm and his eyes softened. He placed a hand on her head and pet her lightly, he wasn't sure if this would be considered weird or not but it always helped cheer him up. Unfortunately no one in the garden had ever pet him, it was the girl who Greg presumed was a good friend of his, but he hadn't seen her since he left to the garden. A small smile formed on his face as he tried to comfort her, his head tilted and he tried to explain his reasoning, "As we live life, one encounter to the next, we are shaped and changed. What ever you had to go through must have been painful, but your stronger for it..." He turned and picked up the bucket, looking over his shoulder, "We also can't go and change the past, but what we can do is work on making a better future."

keri hadnt noticed his approch, she didnt expect what was to come next. He put his hand on her head and he . . .petted her? She had never been petted or touched in a kind way. His touch had made her blush scarlett and she was greatful her head was down and he couldnt see. She decided she liked being petted. Then ace spoke such wise words, all we can do it make a better future he had said. i think my future is gonna get much better here. keri watched him walk off towards the village. she wondered what he had gone through to make him so kind and wise beyond his years. Keri started to follow him slowly.

They both walked in together. The pond looked beautiful tonight, under the full moon. She turned to him and asked "coming?" and smiled sweetly

Scarlet stood among the trees, looking at the beautiful waterfall and waiting to see if anyone else was around. The two foxes had left, but that didn't mean she was alone. What a strange conversation, she thought, wondering at what she had overheard. It was obvious that both the boy and the girl had been through some serious times, and people like that had always interested her.
Thirst burned in her throat, and she stared longingly at the lovely pool of water. It didn't satisfy her the way blood might, but it would still be something. Deciding to risk being seen, she stepped out into the clearing and bent down near the water to get a drink.
