Here is a short description of each of the subforums in the guild.

Anything profile related is found here. Your profile MUST be approved before you may start role playing.
Information and Applications
This is exactly what it says. If you wish to apply for anything from abilities to teaching positions to canon surnames, come here. You can also find a list of spells and some information on the different abilities, classes, and on Quidditch.
Crew Subforum
Self explanatory.
The Daily Prophet
In character happening will be posted here, in a newspaper like form. It is encouraged to use information here in your role playing.
The Owlery
This is in-character communication between characters on the site. If you're bored during class, missing your family, or just sending a letter, this is the place to go. It can be sort of like a diary about your character's time at Hogwarts. One thread per person, please. Simply change the thread title if you wish to 'send' a certain person an owl.
Diagon Alley
Tap it- three up, two across. Hidden through the Leaky Cauldron, this place holds everything a student and everyone else could want. Its always crowded and busy, but most of the magical community shops here.
St. Mungo's
Here, 'doctors' are known as Healers or Mediwizards. All staff wear lime green robes. To enter, you have to step through a dismal shop window. The exterior is brick, though worn and faded, but the interior is precise and appears like a hospital should. The emblem of St. Mungo's is a wand crossed with a bone. There are six floors.
Azkaban
Protected by chilly, fear-inducing dementors, this prison is 'home' to the criminals of the wizarding world. Set on a tiny remote island in the middle of the North Sea, its considered impossible to escape from. Wizards and witches who have used The Unforgivable Curses on others, being an unregistered Animagus, and impersonating Inferi among other things are sent here. Many die of starvation, and others just waste away, or go mad.
Dungeons
The dungeons in Hogwarts aren't off-limits, but hardly anyone comes down here other than for class... The walls are made of roughly hewn stone and the floor as well. Water sometimes trickles down the walls, and the torches here are lit constantly.
Ground Floor
This is the main floor of Hogwarts, where incoming students arrive, and where main congregate before meals or classes. It's brightly lit and contains many paintings, and it's also a rather popular place for ghosts as well.
First Floor
A few of the classes are found in this corridor. Light shines in from as many windows as paintings here, and it's cheery, unlike the class-bound students. A few statues and other seemingly random objects appear occasionally, as well as a door that's really a wall just pretending.
Second Floor
This floor is a little less cheerily lit than the first, though its still just as welcoming. The carpet on the floor here is a royal blue instead of a rich red, and the picture frames are silver, not gold. There is a small niche in the wall that is quite useful if you want to hide.
Third Floor
This floor is lit with hot-burning torches and candles on small tables on the sides. Its a rather narrow corridor, and is decorated in warm neutral colors. The picture frames here are bronze, and the occupants rather feisty.
Fourth Floor
This corridor is absolutely packed with paintings, of anything you can imagine. The floor is covered with a thin and somewhat ragged jet black carpet, but the sconces on the walls hold torches that burn with a fierce white light. A bust of an old crone stands here, but the passage is blocked.
Fifth Floor
This corridor is dimly lit. It's rather grubby-looking, and sometimes smells a little funny. But there are a few picture windows in this hall, with little couches pushed up beneath them. This hall is decorated in a rich plum.
Sixth Floor
This corridor is almost rarely tread, unless it's needed to get there. The staircase winds straight through the middle of this floor, and it's rather pretty. The floors are of white marble, and the paintings are rather clean and crisp themselves.
Seventh Floor
This floor holds even less than the floor below it. Nothing seems to be there except the Arithmancy classroom.
Towers
Many towers spiral off into the air from Hogwarts' base, but only a few are used. While some are actually dormitories, many are blocked off, unused, or classrooms.
Slytherin Common Room
This common room is lit by roaring fireplaces. It's filled with large, winged-back armchairs and rugs, all decorated in green and silver. It's somewhat gloomy, but its large and spacious enough for the most rambunctious of parties.
Hufflepuff Common Room
This is a very brightly lit room hidden behind a set of drapes, next to a wall pretending to be windows. It's warmed by a giant central fireplace and surrounded by poufs and couches and things, all decorated in yellows and golds, as well as a large painting of a badger over the fireplace. Tables and desks litter the area as well.
Gryffindor Common Room
This rooms is filled with wing-back arm chairs crowded in front of a large stone fireplace. Tables are arranged in the back of the room, close to where the dormitory passageways lead off into separate rooms, some in towers, some not. Everything is richly decorated in elaborate scarlet and gold, with a large lion painting above the fireplace.
Ravenclaw Common Room
This room is entered through a 'window' in the wall, which is actually a door. The room itself is filled with four fireplaces around the room, a few chairs and couches, but mostly tables and chairs. The studious Ravenclaws usually put their studies before fun. The room is colored in midnight blue and silver, and a painting of a bright-eyed, white, black, grey, and albino raven hangs above all four fireplaces.
The Lawn
This is just a part of the lawn, edged with a few trees, flowers, and carefully trimmed grass. It's often a popular place for students after exams and during the weekends.
The Quidditch Pitch
The wide green reserved for Quidditch practice and games is surrounded by stands. Locker rooms are off to the side of the stands, for changing from ordinary school robes, to those for Quidditch.
The Greenhouses
There are ten greenhouses here, situated near to the castle. Herbology classes are held here, and ranging from greenhouse one to greenhouse ten, the plants go from mild to dangerous. It smells of dragon dung and moisture, and its always sweltering hot.
The Lake
The huge lake is quite deep, far too deep for anyone to reach the bottom on one breath. Its filled with strange creatures; merpeople, kelpies, and other things. The giant squid often lazes in the shadows.
The Forbidden Forest and Whomping Willow
The Forbidden Forest is often the destination of many a student, though they're usually met by the gamekeeper with a crossbow. The forest is filled with creatures that are hardly ever seen. Unicorns, centaurs, thestrals, bowtruckles, and other things, many other creatures, can be found here. It isn't very safe for a witch or wizard of anyone.
This 'willow' isn't exactly the friendliest of trees. Anyone who ventures close enough is immediately attacked by its frenzied branches. The only way to stop it is to press a certain knot on its truck, which isn't very well known. There is a pathway from the base of the willow into the Shrieking Shack.
Hogsmeade Village
This is a very popular place on weekends for all students over the age of thirteen who have consent. Its many shops and curiosities have attracted many visitors, including more exotic ones, like hags.
Hogsmeade Train Station
The Hogwarts Express drops off and picks up students here. The first years are met by the gamekeeper, where they are taken across the lake in small boats, four per person, to the castle. Everyone else is picked up in carriages drawn by thestrals.
