GENERAL RULES
* All rules set in place by Gaia TOS must be respected and obeyed. No exceptions. When you apply for this guild, you must agree to comply with the rules.
* No fighting. Please be mature. Any out-of-character fights are considered an infraction of this rule. If you have a problem with another member, take it to one of the moderators. Please report any such behavior, if you come across it, to a moderator. We will take care of the problem.
* Do not argue with the moderators. We make sure this site runs smoothly. You, as a member, are a valued part of our community, but by joining this site, you chose to agree to these rules, and that means not arguing with any moderators.
* Cursing is allowed in this guild, but please keep it to a minimum. We do not allow you to call our other members any names, either, no matter if both of you are joking.
* No god-moding or power playing. This includes situations like these: 'Jane Doe hit John Doe. John Doe fell and died.' OR 'John Doe thinks, I love Jane Doe. Jane Doe says aloud, "I know you love me."' Neither is realistic or acceptable.
* No character is ever perfect. No one in real life is perfect, so characters in this guild won't be either. Even if you're character is the main character in a plot, flaws and strengths only make the character more real to readers, and more realistic to everyone, so more interest is generated.
* Fun is good. It's encouraged. Just follow the rules and we'll all be fine. Our moderators are picked to be friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to joke around with us or role play with us.

IN CHARACTER RULES
* It is required to have at least 100 words in a post unless your character is leaving an area. If it is not an exiting post, it will be either ignored or deleted. Too many short posts by any one person will result in the banning of that person. If your character is exiting, please put at the end of the posts [exits] or something along those lines.
* Please include a birthday in your biography. It isn't necessary, but we'd like to know when your character ages.
* Any posts containing mature or suggestive themes will not be tolerated and deleted immediately. This is a PG-13 guild, and I plan to keep it that way. You will only be given one warning before you are banned.
* We allow human characters of all ages, but students must be between the ages of eleven and seventeen, though an older ten for a first year and eighteen for a seventh-year student isn't unreasonable.
* It shouldn't have to be mentioned, but please keep your character's grudges and opinions in character. Just because someone else's character hates yours, that doesn't mean they hate you.

OUT OF CHARACTER RULES
* Do not talk in chatspeak. We will delete you and you won't like it. Maybe you talk like that on AIM or when you text, but we don't tolerate it here. We are alright with smilies [ xD, 8D, :], etc.], and also with lol, lmao, etc. But talking all the time with abbreviations gets to be annoying.
* Please be civil. Respect your fellow role players and moderators.
* Please try to use proper grammar and sentence structure both in and out of character. We'd prefer that we can understand you easily. No run-on sentences!
* We hope all of the role players in this guild are themselves at least thirteen, but we will never know for sure. Make sure that from whatever angle you look at what you're posting, you aren't able to scar someone for life. Keep things appropriate.
* Have fun! We don't mind posts for virtual food fights or insanity like that. We moderators may even join in.
