Common Traits of House Members
Slytherins tend to be ambitious, cunning, and achievement-oriented. They also have highly developed senses of self-preservation.[1] This means that Slytherins tend to hesitate before acting, so as to weigh all possible outcomes of a decision (and how these outcomes would personally impact them), unlike Gryffindors, whose chivalrous natures would likely lead them to react immediately and instinctively.
According to Albus Dumbledore, the qualities which Salazar valued in the students he chose included cleverness, resourcefulness, determination, and "a certain disregard for the rules." Dumbledore noted that all of these were qualities possessed by Harry Potter, who was in Gryffindor.

Sexuality:Straight --------------- PERSONALITY Above anything Dustine is ambitious in nearly every aspect of her life. She has no lack of guts or brains but the all encompassing drive in her life to surpass her own expectations made her the perfect candidate for Slytherin house. In contrast to the sinister reputation of her house, Dustine has a kind heart and a protective nature that makes her feel responsible for the safety of those around her. Still she will always make sure that the protection of other will always come back to benefit her in some way.
Dustine is an extremely private girl that doesnt have friendships or relationships that require any form of attachments outside of her family. She has problems trusting others and personal tragedy has taught her that caring leads to pain. Most other students dont approach her due to her stand offish nature. She believes that rules are made to be broken but if you cant get away with breaking them, then you deserve the punishment. She has a sadistic sense of humor and finds pleasure in the stupidity of others. However her tough girl demeanor makes her extremely lonely and awkward in social situations that require her to interact with others. Dustine would be considered beautiful if it wasn’t for the back off look she constantly wears. She is tall at 5’11” and daily exercise keeps her body around 150lbs. She has butt-length black hair that she usually keeps braided unless she is going to a formal function. Her favorite facial feature is her eyes which are a golden color that shines in the dark like a cat eye. Dustine also has two tattoos. The first is a large tribal tattoo that covers her right shoulder. The second is a small green and silver fleur-de-lis on her left shoulder blade. She wears a small amount of makeup, preferring the natural look to trashy.
On a typical day, when not in school robes, Dustine is always in blue jeans and either a tshirt or a tank top. She has a 36DD chest and doesn’t mind showing it off but rarely notices if anyone is looking. Whether in school robes or everyday clothes, Dustine is almost always wearing a pair of black knee high lace up boots. Also she has an enchanted ankle length leather coat that belonged to her mother. Thanks to her nicotine addiction, Dustine is never without a pack of smokes or a pack of gum. Dustine wont smoke around others out of respect but whenever she isn’t smoking, she is always chewing gum.
On the odd occasion that requires Dustine to dress fancy, she typically sticks with a classic black dress. Low cut in the front and back less to show off her well maintained body at its very best. She will either leave her hair down and flowing or pull it up into a stylish French twist. Again she sticks with her boots as she considers high heels to be one of the most evil things ever created. --------------- PAST Quick List:

Detailed:
Dustine's story begins with her parents. Maddox and Vyvyan Alistair were both high marked Gryffindor students who became Aurors to hunt down the world's dark wizards. After several years of very successful careers, the couple decided to start a family. Dustine joined their lives on a hot August 4th morning. Her middle name came from her aunt Katherine who was a powerful witch in her own right and came to live with Maddox and Vyvyan for those first few hard months of having a new baby. After a particularly hard capture of a dark wizard, Maddox and Vyvyan decided that a vacation was in order and they borrowed the country cabin of their muggle friends, the Calhouns, for a week. Katherine joined them with baby Dustine and assuming that they should be safe so far out in the country, Maddox and Vyvyan decided not to protect the cabin with the amount of spells and charms they would normally have used. The second night of their vacation, the entire household was awoken by a deafening crash as a hole was blasted into the side of the house. Maddox and Vyvyan raced out of their room to find the siblings of the wizard they had just locked away. Outraged at the capture of their brother, they attacked Dustine's parents who managed to fend off their opening attacks. Katherine raced to grab the baby and take her to safety but Dustine's cries at the noise caught Vyvyan's attention and she was killed seconds later. Without Vyvyan, Maddox was no match for both siblings and he died a few moments after his wife. Determined to destroy the whole family, the siblings raced after Katherine and the baby. As Katherine attempted to concentrate long enough to aparate, she was hit with a spell that sliced her face. Screaming in pain, Katherine forced her mind to focus and apparatted herself and her niece to the Calhoun's which was the first safe place she could think of.
Annila Calhoun's mother had been a witch but she had never inherited the gift. Still when Katherine appeared on her doorstep in the middle of the night, holding Dustine and babbling about an attack, Annila didnt bat an eyelash and simply pulled them inside. She had known the Alistair's were magical so she wasnt shocked as Katherine attempted to explain the events of the night. However a few days later, when Katherine asked her and Paul to raise Dustine as their own, Annila had trouble fighting back her surprise. But as Katherine explained, this would be the safest thing for Dustine. No dark wizard would think that the newly "adopted" daughter of muggles was the child of the Aurors they had hunted down. And thanks to the scars that Katherine couldnt heal away, she was no longer willing to go out into the world to face the stares and pity of a cruel world. So she would become Dustine's cat and constant companion, and at least with the Calhoun's, Dustine had the chance at a happy childhood. Finally, Paul and Annila agreed.
Dustine was a pretty happy kid. She got along well with her brother and sister. The Calhoun's raised her as their own and when she got old enough to understand, they sat her down and explained about her parents and the magical world. It was after that conversation when Dustine began to change from the sweet girl to the determined woman. Someone was going to pay for taking her parents away from her. When her letter to Hogwarts arrived, Dustine could hardly wait for her new life to begin. The Sorting Hat placed her in Slytherin which only bothered Dustine because of its reputation for dark wizards. Still the placement only helped to push her harder to achieve her goal. She was going to do whatever was necessary to become the best and most powerful Auror the wizarding world had ever seen. Over the next 6 years, she pushed herself harder than others, staying up long after the rest of the school slept just to achieve the highest scores possible in all of her classes. The only thing Dustine did better than her studies was her ability to constantly break the rules and escape detection. She was surprised but extremely pleased to receive the head girl badge since it meant that someone recognized her efforts.--------------- FAMILY Father-Maddox Alistair=>dead at Dustine’s infancy

Sexuality:Bi, while in his starting state relationships will only be tolerated if they benefit him in some other way. Depending on other character interactions he may soften and have a real relationship. --------------- PERSONALITY [Katashi is a very goal oriented person. He is unforgiving of mistakes, in himself or people he is working with. He is not accustomed to friendly behavior, and will assume that you mean to gain by any association with him. In that same line, if he befriends you it will likely be for personal gain only. He studies hard, and has little in the way of a social life. He sees such things as frivolous rubbish.
Katashi will do whatever it takes to win, but he will not cheat or do anything that would require him to learn less, however he will use any knowledge or talent, whether good or bad, or put anyone else down in his pursuits. He is merciless. To him, the end is more important than the means.
He was however, strongly against "he who shall not be named" and his followers because of the
"idiotic" reasons they killed. he hates the "pure blood" mentality because non pure bloods are often more useful pawns, knowing less about the world they live in and thus easy to manipulate. they can easily be riled up by others into fighting to "prove themselves equal" which causes them to throw logic to the wind and fight for whatever a skilled speaker convinces them is 'moral'. he finds purifying the wizard bloodlines to be too benevolent a practice as it requires for pure bloods wasting time they could be using for self betterment in order to help wizards as a whole. he would rather see himself excel than to give future generations more pure powers. --------------- Weaknesses: very bad at working with other people or in a team environment. He is distrusting at all times. Terrible on a broomstick. Physical abilities other than wand/casting speed are quite terrible.

Katashi is of a slim build, and is generally not muscular. He is 5 feet nine inches tall . He wears glasses for reading only. His hair is a very even black, and cut neatly, but in a fairly generic hair style. His eyes are also black. His back has a variety of odd scars, that have not been magically removed for some reason.
He generally wears wizarding robes because of his strict, unusual up bringing. They are always plain black, and low cost because he does not have access to his families money. When he does wear casual cloths, he looks highly unnatural because he is not used to it at all, though he has added tennis shoes to his regular dress.
He walks in a very dignified manner despite his lack of wealth. He also tends to speed walk as if he is in a hurry. He tends to have a very straight posture, and is usually well mannered as his upbringing has cultured. He is usually very well groomed. --------------- PAST Quick List:

Detailed:
Kitashi was mainly raised by his father, who was once kind, and a famous spell inventor. However as he grew to 6 years old his father had become an abusive individual because of stresses from his new "employer". His father now stressed that if you weren't smarter than those around you, then you were worse than useless. His father would teach daily lessons. He would then quiz kitashi on the material, and would beat him an hour for each wrong answer. Kitashi was not allowed to leave the house at any time. His father didn't want their lessons interrupted by the ministries, and in his mind, he needed a strong, capable sun. not like the disgraceful squib of a daughter his first wife left him. That wife and daughter were long dead by the time kitashi was born.
Kitashi adapted over time, he became very studious, and learned at an alarming rate. His mother was worried about him. Not
only was he isolated and abused, but she was worried that her husband was into dark magics, and had even seen he who must not be named in her own home. she did not want that kind of thing taught to her son. She told kitashi that they would leave the country together and live a more relaxed life. Kitashi was excited about this at first and it helped him through his studies. This lasted a while. Until one day, kitashi woke up to find that his mom had left with his newborn brother because she could only save one child, and kitashi was less favored. This was a lie, told by multiple, persuaded sources. Kitashi's doubts about it were rubbed away by subtle use of Legilimancy by his father.
They continued their now harsher lessons. his father was going to have him taught all the dark
curses, and then branded to the dark lord. His father, however, had made a huge mistake by teaching him legilimancy illegally first, before having him bound or taught any curses at all. Kitashi drugged his father, then used ligilimancy to make him think he was killed by the dark lord as a punishment. He then fled on a random plain, giving the airport personnel the implanted memory that he had paid.>

voldimort, and could not chase him. Kitashi his in a bag in the airport, and fled from bag to bag to escape the airport personnel. The he ended up in was deposited, and he spent a cramped ride going to England. When the plane landed he got out of the luggage while the unloading device was running, and ended up having a short fall to the pavement outside the airport. He walked away undiscovered.

He eventually found himself at a library in the wizarding world. for a few days he ate leftover garbage, until the smell alerted a librarian t the fact that he was staying there every night. She gave him work in exchange for allowed him to stay in apartment that the librarians got together and summoned for him below the library, and providing him with food. He was still there when the invitation to go to hogwarts arrived.

PERSONALITY
[Rosalynn was a very happy, kind, compassionate girl, not unlike some of the Hufflepuffs in some senses. She does, however, get hung up on blood. Any person half blood or less isn't worth her time in her mind. She is spoiled, though not overly so. After her sister died, Rosalynn's kind, compassionate attitude went down the drain and she was only kind to those who she spoke with before the accident. It takes more work than anyone is willing to do to get into her secret place in her heart.
Somewhere along the line, Rosalynn managed to gain a protective streak and she was now getting in fights nearly every day defending her friends or herself. She's smart, though, only talking trash until someone else casts the first spell. After that, she hexes them into oblivion and moves on with her life like nothing happened. She knows that if she can get them to attack first, she can say that she was merely defending herself from them. This worked about 95% of the time.
Rosalynn is capable of being cold and calculating, and when she was placed in Slytherin, when she regarded any other house, she was. Now that the death of her sister is fading into the recesses of her mind, she is starting to regain that trait. That isn't to say that she doesn't still smart off to anyone who makes her angry. She's still unstable from the death, she is just learning to contain that irritability. She tended to smart off at all the wrong times and to anyone who crossed her, professors included.
Somtimes she was a sweet girl in the classrooms, a ghost of what she used to be in her first two years. She just took the death of her sister too hard and didn't bother reaching out to anyone for help. Because of that, she knows that it's her fault she is the way that she is and as such, just ignores all of the loneliness that she keeps locked underneath a thick layer of sarcasm and misplaced rage.]

Appearence:
Rosalynn tends to look normal to most, if only a little stand-offish. She tends to dress in black, white, and green, but never all three at once. She wears a black jacket with green fur around the hood and coating the inside. The shirt she wears beneath it can be either black and white stripes or black and green stripes. Her jeans are either white or black.
Since she fights so much, everyone sees her as a rough-neck pureblood. Her eyes are different colors, one deep sapphire colored and one a shocking emerald color. Usually they are very intense, and she tends to scare some people off because of it. Her pale skin and natural black hair make her look odd, almost vampyric. Her inky black hair is cut in an angle, the shortest part in the back of her head and only as long as her skull, the front dusting her shoulders.
Rosie is pretty evened out, having an hourglass figure, and she looks like a godess to most of the guys, but she decided that she would just not care and scare people off with her eyes.

Detailed:
Rosalynn was born December 31st, 1998 to a pureblood family in Holyhead, so naturally she was a Holyhead Harpies fan from day one. She is a huge fan of quidditch and secretly hopes to become one of the Holyhead Harpies, though she would never tell her Death Eater family about that. Her grandparents still supported the ideals of their dead Dark Lord too much.
The first time little Rosie met her first Faction leader, she was five years old, and in awe. The Faction Leader, a very, very tall man with firm Russian features, disregarded her and instead favored her sister, who was nearly ten. The man praised her appearance and her physical capabilities and told her that she would excell at magic as well and be the perfect Faction Member. Since then, Rosie was found with her sister, Amilia.
That's when Rosalynn's entire world was shifted out of balance.
It was nearly eight years since the first incident with the Faction Leader--who were now regular sightings for the now teen--and she was shopping in Knockturn Alley for some new trinkets to decorate her room with her sister when a few Aurors came out of nowhere. They attacked her sister, who was a well known mudblood killer, and she, like an idiot, fought back, pushing Rose out of the reach of the Aurors and trying to keep them from seeing her. Amilia knew what, at the time, Rose did not. If the Aurors found her with a known murderer of muggleborns, Rose would not get to go back to Hogwarts and would not be able to learn the rest of her magic. So Amilia whispered the last words she would ever say to her sister.
"Run."
She didn't listen. Instead, she backed into a side alley and watched the fight from there. The Aurors were demanded to take Amilia Jameson the Muggleborn Killer and it was only now, staring across the street while her sister fought that Rose saw the terms. Dead Or Alive were the words that were glaring at Rose from a weather-worn Wanted poster with her sister's face glaring out, shaking her head and holding her wand near her face. Rose wondered when it had been taken, but only for a moment. She heard a couple of people shout an unfamiliar spell at once and watched her beautifully blonde sister fall to the ground, her eyes wide as she met eyes with her younger sister she'd been fighting so hard to protect. Her eyes were strained with the last moments of pain she would ever feel and Rose saw her mouth the word "run" one more time.
This time, Rosalynn listened.
She spent the entire summer mourning her death, replaying the memory over and over whenever she was alone. She recieved the letter from Hogwarts telling her what she needed to get for school this year and she was uninterested and unexcited, but if her parents saw that, she would have to tell them that she was there for her sister's death, and she wasn't prepared to face that kind of pain just yet. So, she decided she would put on the greatest act and pretend like she was ecstatic for the school, though inside she was dreading the very thought of a classroom.
Rosie has never forgotten her sister's face, the absolute pain and desparation in her eyes as she faced death and fearing her sister meeting the same fate. The image haunted her dreams and sometimes, if the stress of school was too bad, she saw the faces of the aurors in her dream, only this time, they were hunting her. Dead Or Alive were the only words that were spoken in any of her dreams.
She'd managed to survive school the year following her sister's death, though it's effects were still imparing her everyday ability to function. That inability to care carrid over her fourth year and she was now the same as she had been in her third year. Unenthused.
The Faction, as far as Rose is aware, is still pretty well undercover. Despite the fact that Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived, is over 75 years old, and that his children and grandchildren aren't as well known as he, they are biding their time until they can move against the Muggleborns without someone around who might luck his way into defeating them. Rosalynn's own grandparents agree with this strategy and are high ranked in the local Faction along with her parents.

The only thing I add, Lily, is that the storyline of the guild takes place 60 years after Voldemort's death. So...your bio and secret wouldn't work, nor your birthdate. Not unless you are like 76 years old. So please fix your profile, if you can.

it was this bad reputation, and the ensuing ostricization, that led to Hugh's prefference to avoid human contact. he and his family moved to Venezuela when the germans lost WWII. when Hugh got his Hogwarts letter, he parents flew him out to england without giving him a chance to speak up. he remained silent, knowing that his family's Honour now rested in the continued magical excelency of it's every member.
despite his usual dislike for people, Hugh has opened up his heart a little to Nicholas Randall, after being constantly harrassed by the latter. Hugh has come to appreciate the acceptance and understanding that Nich has, and is still quite baffled by why he even chose to talk to a Slytherin in the first place, especially one who's family were nazi deatheaters. in Hugh's experience, people judged by partisan affiliations as easily as they breath.
though Hugh wouldn't go as far as to say that he and Nich were friends, they have been hanging out as long as they were in school, ever since they met.] --------------- Weaknesses: Hugh is not very good at his potions, nor Transfigurations. he also gets low grades at Divination, and is a socially awkward person.
Strengths: despite his mediocre spell abilities, Hugh is a natural at his Defense Against Dark Arts. and despite his lack of people-skills, he has a knack for Careof teh Magical Creatures. he is also a decent flyer.
