Being loved can be such a hassle that it makes some people not want to be loved.....What would happen to you if you where only allowed to watch someone you cared for and never be there for them, be a shoulder to cry on? What happens when the very place you live strikes fear in those same eyes? You wish to find a way to help that poor soul but you can’t because it is forbidden.
This story is based on a young spirit who falls in love with someone he should not even bother to care for. A human male, might I add. There from two different planets….ok well the Moon really isn’t a planet now is it. Yes the moon! The spirit of the moon has been mesmerized and hypnotized by a man who is terrified of seeing the moon when it is at its fullest for memories of past horrors haunt him at the sight. As the human drifts farther into a depressive state from constant heart breaks and his world caving in on itself one night he finally gives up on his life and calls it quits. Can the spirit actually stand by and let the man he has been bewitched by just kill himself. Let us hope not because that would end the story! The story is going to start off with our young human and his last boyfriend, at night and something is going to happen definitely not in the form of love that our young man wants. .....yet need to be loved to feel complete.

Picture PerfectThe Label Of My Life {Daniel J. Middle} The Wiseness Of That Label {26} The Story Of That Life {From being a young lad I have always wanted to be cared about and loved. I believe this was a result to having parents that mostly ignored me at a young age. I grew up with nannies, for the most part hating every single one fro my own reasons. In high school it was difficult because the girls where mostly whores and the guys well at that age what else is a guy looking for besides a good lay. So when I got to college I got into my first real relationship with a women and I thought it was going pretty well we never fought or anything and then suddenly all hell broke loose and she split up with me and was with another guy withen a few minutes. Did it hurt? Of course, it always does. So a few months down the road I meet this guy, if haven't figured it out yet I swing from both branches here. Ok well back to the guy, he was nice sweet totally my type but apparently on my list there is the heart break. Though no he didn't dump me oh no he just wanted a good play toy. It seemed that every time the moon was full he would become his most evil and demonic side, maybe that's my issue with the moon.
After a few months of being trapped in his sticky and painful web I got out of the 'relationship' but I still never have turned him into the cops, maybe it is a pride issue. I've had other relationships but they where short term and broken off with wither a bang. It took me almost a year before I found my current boyfriend, Tommy...Tom.} The Party Attitude Of This Person {Quiet, loving, curious, adventures, timid, scared of certain things. Can't really stand closed in spaces. Neat, organized for the most part.} Their Position with another {Seke} Secrets of the Label: {I have a few tattoos here and there and I used to be a rather bad boy when I was a teen.} Picture Perfect The Label Of My lLfe {Artemis Lune} The Wiseness Of That Label {As old as the moon itself} The Story Of That Life {The majority of my life had been spent watching over the moon and sleeping, often for centuries at a time. It's pretty boring, after all, simply being a moon spirit. Starting a few years back though, I haven't even dreamed of sleeping. Instead, I've speant hours watching this one human. It's strange, because he's not astoundingly special or anything, but at the same time there is just something about him where I can't take my eyes away. It's probably wrong, but it's not like he'll ever find out, right? It's not hurting anyone either. So I'm content to just watch, especially now that he's so happy with that other boy. It's good for him after that big mess a year back. It killed me to watch him then, and I'll admit to almost having jumped in to have a word or two with them. Almost.} The Party Attitude Of This Person {Aloof at times (born from watching people), patient, naturally cheerful, curious, can be clingy, gets lost in thought easily, has a hard time talking with others comfortably.} Their Positoin with another {Seke, though it really depends on the phase of the moon} Secrets of the Label: {Artemis' physical appearance changes slightly with the phases of the moon. He appears his youngest at the new moon (like the picture above) and his oldest at the full moon. Along with that, his personality also shifts slightly to match his appearance. Ie: during the new moon he is a bit more childlike, while during the full moon he tends to be calmer.}

Daniel and Tommy had taken the bus from the city. It was late in the evening and thunder boomed about in the sky bouncing around like a hyperactive child. The wind was picking up speed but the two lovers didn't even notice as they walked back to the oldest, Tommy's, home. Just as the two got a block away from thier destination the sky lit up and then began to poor. Though the two men only laughed and ran for it racing each other to get to the house. Daniel for once got to the door before Tommy while trying to catch his breath and leaning back against the door. Finally the slow poke jogged up chuckling softly not caring to catch his breath as his lips crashed against Daniels for a moment before he unlocked the door.
"I was wondering when you where going to beat me Danny." Tom spoke pecking the younger male on his lips. Though Daniel didn't know what the other males intentions where for tonight. The dark secret he was keeping and waiting for the right moment to strike. With a yawn Tom walked in waiting for Daniel to come in before closing the door behind him and quickly sitting on the couch. He could still hear the younger mans breathing as he tried to catch his breath inwardly waiting for later when he would be the one making Danny breath like that soon.

Artemis had a rather interesting way of watching Daniel. His physical body stayed at home on the moon, relaxed as can be. An astral body though, one his mind had created, hung carefully in the space between the air and the real world. The view from the moon was awful, but the spaces inbetween were perfect for watching. Well, perfect when the weather was nice. The lightening of storms sometimes got stuck in the same space as him which gave him headaches. It was a small price to pay though for the view. Especially on a night where Daniel was happy. Those were the fun nights. To hear him laugh and watch him smile. It made him smile too.
It was hard sometimes though, when his own mind was cautious and worried. He shouldn't have been really. Daniel was happy and in a much safer relationship than he had been in months. Especially compared to that train wreck he'd sat and witnessed. Something though, something itched at his mind. Sometimes, Tommy was almost too good. Which was silly, obviously. Obviously. He just couldn't get himself convinced.
Life'd be much easier if the moon let him read minds.
But he still watched anyway, hovering gently above not-there space of the doorway. At least the moon let him be there.

Daniel sighed softly and fell onto the couch next to Tommy with a bright tiered smile. "Thanks for going around the city with me today." he said softly and kissed the other nose gently and rested against him. Tom laughed softly and ruffled the others hair with a small smirk as the other whimpered and shooed his hand away before fixing his hair. For a while Tommy just let Danny curl up into him and when he was almost asleep he laid the man down pinning him down playfully before he licked the younger's lips to wake him up.
"W-what are you doing?" Danny asked softly and looked above his head where his hands where being pinned. "Oh come on Danny we have to do it sometime, you can't honestly believe that people will wait on you like this forever." Tommy said and nipped at the mans neck watching him flinch away from the touch.
"Let me go Tom, your hurting me." The dark haired male whined softly and tried to pull his wrists out of there hold.

Despite the fact that their busy day was slowing down and Daniel was about to sleep, Artemis watched. He always watched, even when nothing was happening. It wasn't as though things didn't happen for very long. The time that humans spent sleeping was so small compared to his naps. He could always wait until the morning came. If he ever got bored in those short hours, which he rarely did, there was always something in Daniel's room that he could count. The number of shoes, the number pillows, the number of wires. They were all there, waiting to entertain him for the split seconds it took him to tally them up.
And at first it seemed like tonight would be another peaceful watching night where a part of him would wish to be where Tommy was and the other parts of him would insist to that part that it was only because he had never felt a human before, and if he was going to feel one than it might as well have been one like Danny. Daniel. He didn't like calling him Danny. It seemed very strange to change a given name, no matter how hard he tried to think of it as right. He thought of Tom as Tommy because that was what Daniel almost always said. But, regardless of side-tracking, it still seemed like it would be a rather peaceful night.
It wasn't. Tommy was doing bad things. He was wrong to do that. Artemis' mind screamed for him to let poor Daniel go. Didn't he know what a horrible idea this was? He didn't like watching this. He'd always hated watching this. It made him want to jump down and shake him away. To protect Daniel. But...he couldn't. It was against the rules. He could watch so long as he didn't interfere. It was horrible though, to watch him get hurt like this. He wanted to look away, but he never did. It was wrong to watch, it was, but at least he could say that he never enjoyed what he saw.
Please don't hurt him.

Tommy only laughed at the younger male beneath him as he struggled to get out of his grip. "But if I don't hurt you, you are just going to run away, and I can't have that now can I." he said chuckling softly. His free hand easily unzipped Daniel's jacket before practically ripping his white button up shirt open. The man didn't even bother to listen to Danny's begging or little whines, he didn't care. Then Tom made a big mistake when he straddled the dark haired male instead of holding his legs down with his, 'cause that is when Danny brought his knee into the mans groin.
Once his hands where free Daniel practically threw the other male off of him before he ran out of the house slamming the door behind him as tears began to sting his eyes. By now the rain had began to pour from the dark thunder clouds and the wind had caught an eerie chill to them at this hour. Danny fumbled with his jacket and zipped it up as he ran the several miles to his home the wind lashing out at him and freezing his wet cheeks as tears flowed down them.
Though it wasn't physical pain this one had cause him it was deep emotional pain. When Daniel had reached his home he sprinted to the door and ran inside where you could hear his painfilled sobs without the thunder covering them up. He made his way to his bedroom and curled into the sheets body shaking not from the cold but from his pain. The young man could feel what was left of his heart shattering and falling apart.
He cried for hours drenched in the cold weather rain and feeling betrayed.

Oh thank God.
He'd gotten free. There was nothing that could have made Artemis happier at that moment. Trailing behind him, Artemis followed Daniel home. It was hard with the electricity stinging his mind, but he couldn't dare to just leave him behind. So he stuck it out, even though the wind coming through the air in the layer just behind him threatened to toss him off his path. Still though, he refused to leave him. Not when he was in so much pain. Even if Daniel didn't know that he cared, he wanted to be there for him.
Once inside, the sound of Daniel's sobs made his heart clench and tighten. It wasn't right, for him to cry. Daniel was best when he was smiling and laughing. He didn't like hearing him in pain. Just when it seemed like nights like this were over, they came back again.
So Artemis did what he always did. He lay himself down against the bed, not feeling it since he technically wasn't on it, just on the not-space of it, and watched over him. Sometimes, if Daniel was facing the same way he was, he'd run his not-fingers through his hair and try to wipe tears away even though they never connected. He wished that they did. He wished that Daniel could see him, and feel him, and know that he was there for him, but he couldn't. It was against the rules, and his existence was bound to the rules.

Finally once all the tears had fallen from his eyes Daniel seemed to fall asleep from being exhausted and emotionally drained, but he wasn't really asleep more like being numb. There was so much pain welled up inside him that it was driving the young burnett insane. So the devils plan came in his mind.
He sat up and set his feet on the floor before pulling out the drawer in the side table next to his bed. That's where he kept his sketch book, pencils, and a gift a friend had given him before they went to the shooting range. Danny pulled out the gun and stared at it with hollow green eyes. It was old fashioned for the revolving unit was like the old cowboys guns but it was very new. For a moment he only looked at it before emptying the rounds and setting them back into the drawer all except for one, which he put back inside and spun it before setting it to his head.
What Daniel didn't know was that he had two shots before the bullet would pierce his skull and take everything away. Anyone else could clearly see which wholes where empty and which one was not.
He fired. It seemed like the shot didn't even crack him. He fired again. Still alive oh Danny boy. He got ready to pull the trigger again, you know what they say third times the charm.

It was good that he had gone to sleep, Artemis figured. When you were asleep, things could not hurt you. He could use the time sleeping to fix himself. Maybe he'd even have sweet dreams, though it seemed doubtful. But, he could hope, couldn't he? It was good to hope.
Since Daniel appeared to have gone to sleep, Artemis allowed his mind to space out. He began to think of things, yet also of nothing at all at the same time. It wasn't important. Just shapes of thought.
But then he realized that Daniel was moving. He shot himself back, hovering in the air again to get a better view. What was he doi--
No, no, no, no, no, no! That was bad! Bad! Bad! Bad! His mind was screaming. He couldn't let Daniel kill himself! Then those eyes and that laugh and that smile would be gone for good. It wasn't right! Daniel needed to live!
Ignoring all the rules, he pulled his physical body from the moon to the space where he was. As he did so, he heard the first shot. His eyes darted to the gun. Only one more left before he'd die.
No!
His physical body couldn't exist in the space between air and reality, so it started to fall through the seams, but it was so slow! Another shot. No more chances.
Dammit!
"Stop!" He cried out as he fell through to reality, finally. He hadn't heard another shot. Was he in time? His voice was a little hoarse from never speaking. Had the words come out okay? "Stop!" Please let the shock of someone falling out of literally nowhere have scared him enough to drop the gun. Please, oh please, oh please.

Daniel paused before he pulled would pull the trigger. Something was making him feel paranoid and slightly off. He sighed and closed his eyes gently pressing on the trigger and then someones voice broke the silence in his room and Danny screamed in surprise dropping his gun and quickly dashed to the other side of the bed where it met the wall. "W-who are you? Where the heck did you come from!" he cried out shaking now.
What was going on? This man had fallen out of nowhere. Then fresh tears started to well in his eyes. He was so close! So close to getting rid of all of his pain. Daniel whimpered and curled up on the bed again laying down holding himself tightly.

Artemis let out a long held sigh of relief. He'd come in time, and Daniel had dropped the gun. Part of him had been worried that his finger would have twitched and hit the trigger when he surprised him. Then Daniel would have been dead, and it would have been his fault. He'd had to try though, because if he hadn't then...--he didn't want to think about it. That situation had been avoided and no longer called for his attention.
"My name is Artemis," he stated, trying to remain calm. One of them needed to be calm at least, and he wasn't expecting Daniel to do so. Not for a while at least. "I'm a spirit, which is why I could just appear." Not lieing. He wasn't lieing. He just wasn't telling Daniel that he was a moon spirit. It wasn't as though he was blind to the fact that Daniel had such a deep loating for the moon. A loathing for his home, and thusly, him. But as long as he didn't say anything, then it wouldn't matter.
Hopefully.
He inched forward as Daniel curled up again, the urge to try and comfort him, for real this time, strong. His movements were deliberatly slow so that Daniel could see that he didn't want to attack him or hurt him. Then, still a good distance away, he carefuly extended his hand. Slowly, slowly, he reached out and gently put his finger tips on his knee. It was a test, to see if Daniel would allow it.
"I'm sorry for scaring you." He kept his voice soft on purpose. Sure, startling Daniel had been part of his plan, but he was still sorry.

Daniel's lips trembeled as he wiped his cheeks, he had cried enough today. "D-Daniel." he said quietly. The man listened to the other say he was a spirt and thats why he had popped out of thin air. "What?" he asked softly. What was this guy talking about and why was he here?
Once the other began to inch closer he shyed away a little bit from the man still catious about the man. Once the hand touched his leg he flinched but didn't pull away. "H-how did you know?" Danny asked refuring to how the other new he was about to blow his brains out onto his bed sheets.
(sorry it took so long to reply I'm going brain dead)

((S'okay. We all get that sometimes.))The question 'what' was a tricky one. There was no easy answer to explain what a spirit was. They just sort of...were. It was the same as humans in a way, only on a different level. There were a bunch of humans with no powers, and then there were a few spirits with limited powers including the ability to live as long as what they were the spirit of. Aside from that though, they were really quite similar. So he didn't know how to explain. Saying all of that would take too long. Thankfully, Daniel moved onto another question rather quickly.
Not that this one was much better. Sure, it had an easy answer, but the answer was not easy to say. How was he supposed to admit that he'd spent the last three or so years unable to tear his eyes away from him? Certainly it would be misinterpreted. He hadn't been doing it as an obsessive stalker or anything. There was just...something about Daniel that demanded watching. "I saw what was going to happen, and thought that it'd be horrible if someone threw their life away." It'd be safer if Daniel didn't know that he'd been watching everything.
The fact that Daniel did not pull his hand away made Artemis both excruciatingly happy and excruciatingly sad at the same time. Happy, because he could finally reach out an touch him. Sad, because he remembered that what he had convinced himself was wrong. In truth, he was not content to simply watch the man and pretend like he was there. He wanted more. He wanted to actually be there, to talk to him, to befirend him, to touch him, to comfort him, and, the last part was the worst, to kiss him. He'd made himself forget about that. Not that he wanted it now, not when Daniel was a wreck, but there had been times when he did. Times when he was jealous of the people Daniel was with. He swallowed those feelings back down though, and just set his hand down fully on his knee.
It was safer to pretend to be content.
