Hmm... OK.
I'll say that
World at War has a better story, because not only did it tell of a part of WWII not usually found in these games
right (
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is horrible), it told it in one of the most brutal ways possible. It truly shows the chaos, the horror of war (dismembered limbs? Check. Brains blown out? Check. Grenades from every direction? Yep. Anyone can die? You bet your a**) as it is. It also shows the monstrous behaviors of soldiers that have seen too much. It may be a short story, but it has so many
crowning moments of awesome that that doesn't matter. Plus, it has Nazi Zombies, which has its own kick-a** story that it should be a separate game.
As for
Halo, it's pretty much your standard SciFi Space Marine escapades... with just as many crowning moments of awesome. They're good games, but are just too copy/paste between the sequels. And the combat's well, not to my liking. You're not likely to die. Also, no Nazi Zombies mode.
That's just my opinion, so please,
DO NOT get worked up about it or angry at
me.
