Quinlan Hall the Son of Hephaestus The walk to the Pavilion wasn't bad, it was actually peaceful. Though this may have been due to the absence of so many demigods. While walking, Quinlan's stomach began to growl viciously. Fortunately, one of the passing satyrs pointed him to the dining area and explained to him how everything worked. It turned out that the Son of Hephaestus had to pile food onto a platter, walk over to the offering pyre and scrape the better parts of the food into the flames before eating himself. So once setting foot in the mess hall, he noticed how bare the place seemed to be. There was an eeriness to the silence that waft over the open-aired cafeteria. Quinn proceeded to do as tradition called for and sat down at the his cabin's table, after making his offering. Reaching into his pocket, he removed Sootstar and placed it on the table. In moments, he was shoveling food into his mouth and basically, swallowing it whole. Time went by and his plate got cleaner and cleaner until there was nothing left on the surface. Wiping his mouth, Quinn sighed and returned his gaze back to the wrench that laid on the table. He was really expected to use this against monsters and whatever else opposed him and his fellow demigods? Man were they in trouble.
