A Special Note

I feel this is necessary to say. The purpose of the recreation of our old guild is not to be a hassle, it is to create a better experience and atmosphere for our guild. It is not that easy to simply "reorganize" everything by deleting a few posts. After my attention was brought to the fact that every thread did not need to be recreated, just the most popular ones, that is in fact what I decided to do.

In a guild where everything is disorganized, cluttered, people keep getting confused and not knowing where things are - new members will be less likely to join, and old members will get more frustrated as things keep getting changed around.

Secondly, I wanted to reorganize into less sub forums. You cannot delete sub forums, gaia will not let you do this. That is another reason why I wanted a brand new guild.

Lastly, considering how many posts we had that were not all that popular, it is far easier to make a new guild and recreate only what was popular, and let everyone else post what they wanted to be there after that.

I enjoy discussing with all a written word members and I hope that you can see my views on this.

Special Note
--------------------------------------------

A note to all A Written Word members. I apologize for my absence in this guild. It would be the first and foremost reason it has not been very active lately. Over this past month I have had two good friends of mine leave for basic training for the military. My month has been packed full with going away parties, trips to MEPS, creating memory albums and more.
I am sad yet proud to say that they are on their way and have left. In November I will be making a nine day trip to Texas to see one of them graduate from basic training.
This guild will become greatly improved as my life is not as hectic as it has been.

Guild Announcements

Although it is now possible for me to send announcements to all guild members through mail, I have decided to continue to use mainly this thread for announcements. However, I will be making a "weekly guild announcement" that will be sent via this new technology. It will simply be an update of things going on in the guild, and any information that is especially important for you to know.
