I'm asking because I'm bored. And it seems like Sacred Stones is the one game that most people have played.

My favorite is Lyon. The kind one that wanted to save his country; so he gave into the demon king and destroyed a lot of things to do so. And completely ruined his, " Peace and help people" idea. And in the end his kingdom was still destroyed. > > ;

Forde, he's hilarious and willing to sort of be a caricature of himself at times to cheer others up. Mostly just the humor =P I always like characters that are a little unusual. I mean, nobody'd expect a guy like him to be a knight.

I liked Forde too. But I haven't played the game in a long while, I'd forgotten what he acted like. xD; I liked Ephraim too, but he had a little bit of a temper problem. Lol.

Falls asleep during battles, start sketching during battles, always being reprimanded by Kyle for not taking things seriously, etc xP
Um.. think Zelos... especially when he tells Vanessa he feels an energy from her, and asks her if she wants to "feel his energy" But still, less pervy-ish, and not as arrogant.

Forde is AWESOME.
My favorite was Knoll, though. Only because he became my god summoner.

Knoll was pretty cool too; just need to be careful not to make the terrible mistake of promoting him to a druid. He was pretty useful as a summoner though.

I love all the recruits. Not only are they a breath of fresh air in the dark plot that is Sacred Stones, but each of them make incredible characters, no matter which way you play them. Though, Ross is your only chance at a Berserker, which is maybe the best melee class in the game, period!

Though, Ross is your only chance at a Berserker, which is maybe the best melee class in the game, period! Gerik > Ross. Versatility is a plus. Ross hit like a truck and crit a lot, but his speed and skill were too low for my tastes. I think most people can agree that Dieck from FE 6 > all though. =P

I forgot who Dieck was for a bit. Then I remembered. c:
Ross was very slow. One of the downfalls of axe users?

Axe users are usually slow though. Unless you're on a lake/river/beachy level, or a mountainous level... But then, that's why I prefer to use sword users vs sword users/lance people. Sword users are usually strong, versus a lance even; forget the triangle! ( And they're faster too, can cover more space on the map, much faster than an axe user. ) xp

See, ross was even slow by the standards of an axe user. As somebody who used Dart all the time in FE7, among loving many other axe users, I'll say that Ross is exceptionally slow even in comparison to other axe users. Heck, Gonzales cleaned house in FE6, and then you've got hector, great knights, the hero units (ones with higher CON are better with axes, same with great knights CON) etc.
Yeah, I'm a geek.. sorry.. x_x;
I'm a big axe guy, and I didn't really like Ross much.
I don't like how low sword damage output is, aside from the heavier blades meant for heroes. Endgame, most people max skill, in which case axe damage is significantly higher, being able to afford the accuracy penalty, and some fast units with Low CON can even afford the extra accuracy and speed penalty for the weight of the weapon
And actually, paladins in FE 6 and 7 could use axes, highest mobility unit in the game, and axe users are the same speed as sword users, as well as some being able to move across water or mountains. So they are more mobile too, aside from the movement of thieves.

I've experienced a lot of the axe users defense to be really cruddy... And they tend to die more often than my other units. Other than Hector, and Boyd, I've found them to be useless. They always seem to die, and I hate to risk losing character conversations or speech in the cuts if they do die. So I don't really use axe users. I've always preferred mercenaries, myrimidons(SP), archer/snipers, and magic users. Sometimes I use knights or generals, but not often. The only knight/general I ever really used was Gatrie. Lol.
I don't think I play video games the way you do, lol.

I used Bartre all the time in FE7, what do I win.
A lot of the time with axe users, you have to be wary of whats around them because of their low speed, bad hit average, and their seemingly low defense.
I find it very sad that Ross was a trainee and he still isn't decent fully promoted to... whatever you promote him into.
