Pleasure's all mine this time"  What would you think if you woke up one morning and suddenly were told, that over the next four years you would either turn into something that you thought only existed in legends, or die? What would say to that? You would probably tell who ever was telling you such things, they were bat-s**t crazy, and go about your day like any other person. But what if it were true? Just what would you do?
Enter the Dark, Seductively Magical world of E V E R N I G H T Academy. A world very much like our own, except here vampires have always existed. Sixteen year old Sylmaria has just been Marked as a fledgling vampire and joins the secluded E V E R N I G H T Academy, a school where she will train to become an adult vampire. That is, if she makes it through the "Change"- and not all of those who are Marked do.
It sucks to begin a new life, even if you are use to being alone and not having any friends. But on top of that, Sylmaria is no average fledgling. She has been chosen as special but thinks its only because she is extraordinarily gifted, even for a fledgling. As Sylmaria explores her own powers, she finds that along with her powers come blood-lust and so much more then she could imagine.
To add to her stress she discovers she is not the only fledgling at E V E R N I G H T with special powers. And on top of that, she doesn't seem to be fitting in well either with the other fledglings. The way the guys look at her, makes her shiver; And the way the girls look at her makes her skin crawl so bad she wants to lock herself in her room. They were Different from her even if they all were in different processes of the "change". As if things couldn't get any worse for her, Sylmaria cant help but feel that something sinister is lurking at the mysterious E V E R N I G H T Academy.
Just how will the story play out for the students at E V E R N I G H T Academy? Just who will survive the change and who will not? Many things are still unclear for Sylmaria and the other fledglings at E V E R N I G H T Academy, but one things for sure, their destiny is in your hands.

When they originally built E V E R N I G H T Academy in the early 1500's, this country had been nothing but wilderness. Even the small towns that now dotted the distant countryside, none of them were very close to E V E R N I G H T; and despite the hillside views and the thick forests, nobody had ever built a house nearby. But who could blame them for not wanting to be anywhere near that place? The few surrounding buildings that were around were all owned and ran by the school. The Academy's tall stone towers all of them were coiled with the twisted forms of gargoyles, and they seemed to dominate the surrounding mountainside landscape. But the people were right to be leery of the place, even if it was a decorated and pretentiously well known Academy today. Over the years the rumors about the school have evolved and changed with the times, but even if you were to ask in any of the surrounding towns about the school today you wouldn't hear much but the old legends, even if some of them are true.

Today E V E R N I G H T Academy is known as the worlds most prestigious elite and private educational institution, even if it were not originally designed for that exact purpose. The academy was legendary, and they only accept the best. What exactly goes on at E V E R N I G H T inside the academy itself, is unknown to anyone who has not crossed the threshold themselves. But what is known, at least to the outside world, is that out of those those who do enter the academy most go on to be greatly important beings in the world. But what really does go on behind the closed doors at the prestigious E V E R N I G H T Academy? You just might have the chance to find out, if you can gain entrance to the illustrious Academy. This year the Academy Board is selecting 20 extra "lucky" student applicants to accept on full scholarships, but only the most extraordinarily 'gifted' and diverse will be selected. Rumors fly as the news sweeps world wide about the 'small' expansion to the very private elite school.
But what exactly is the staff at E V E R N I G H T Academy looking for when they say they are seeking to 'diversify' their already gifted students by accepting more diversively gifted students from different cultural backgrounds? Even the current students and staff are perplexed by the addition, and can only wonder just what the headmistress and board are thinking. E V E R N I G H T has been shrouded in mysteries for centuries, and it was only normal the staff and students would be restless, when attention was drawn to their sanctuary. For years they have hidden in the shadows, but in time all things change. Even for Immortals.

As Sylmaria and the other new Fledglings enter E V E R N I G H T Academy, Shekiniah, the High Priestess and Headmistress of the Academy couldn't help but smile, now that she had tracked down the last of the gifts she was after. She had finally attained all that she would need so that she could finally put things as they should be, and just in time for those most important to truly awaken. Then she could implement her true plans, her plan to emerge from the darkness and show the world just who really controls it. Then they would no longer have to hide in the shadows, no longer play second best to.. humans. Shekiniah thought to herself maliciously, all the while her appearance was calm and collected, personifying her wisdom and grace, as she stood statuesque watching the new fledglings shuffle into the great hall, and for the first time enter their new home at E V E R N I G H T. All the while her gaze couldn't help but betray just who she was particularly interested in as she lingered her gaze upon certain students.
Shekiniah searched the faces of the new fledglings for any signs of weakness or sickness in them. She was already well aware that not all of them would survive the change over the next four years. Some students changed early, while others, died early. It was possible for their bodies to reject the change at any time, but over the years she had been researching and found a way to ensure the change succeeded. But it was risky, at best. But before any of that she would watch them all closely before taking any preventative steps, besides she didn't know what the outcome might be. So for now she would wait. But just what might happen to the students over the next four years? Will any of them discover their High Priestesses true motives to emerge their kind from the shadows, and use them as her means to do so? Or will they be taken in by her charms and schemes and believe the charade?
But one thing is for sure, once the secret truth is out, and all the attention is turned on them, how will they keep the world they use to belong to and the one they are now apart of from tearing each other apart? Just what will happen if and when the new fledgling students uncover her plans? Will they step up to fulfill their prospective roles and do as she commands? Or will they stand against this senseless war? Will they survive the stress after making the change or falter under the pressure? Things at E V E R N I G H T Academy are changing from what they once were as the unsuspecting new students arrive. All too soon they will find out the real truth behind the mysterious E V E R N I G H T Academy.
But one things for certain for the new students of E V E R N I G H T over the next four years they will either change into something they thought only existed in legends or die trying. As if life as a teenager wasn't hard enough already. All that and more is in store for the new students at the eerily Gothic E V E R N I G H T Academy. But one question still remains even through all the chaos, just how many will survive the change?

The grounds outside the Academy have a variety of things to do, there's the sports fields, the pools, the tennis courts, the golf course, the gardens, riding stables, and there is a huge lake behind the school not to mention the entire school grounds is encompassed in a thick evergreen forest mountainside miles deep on every side.
~ || First Floor Classes || ~
The First Floor of the Academy is where all the classes are located. Class Times vary see Class listings for details.
~ || Second Floor Girls Dorms || ~
The Second Floor of the Academy belongs only to the girls, this is where the girls live, sleep, bathe and hang out.
~ || Third Floor Boys Dorms || ~
The third floor of the Academy belongs solely to the boys. This is where they live, sleep, shower and just hang out.
~ || Fourth Floor Teachers Dorms || ~
Where the teachers at the Academy live, sleep, bath and just simply hang out when their not teaching class.
~ || Fifth Floor Hospital & Healing Ward || ~
Where the sick or injured Staff and Students go to get healed.

Like most boarding schools the slots fill up fast, but unlike most boarding schools they can add more rooms with magic should they need some. Here are the Available Dorm Listings For Students and Teachers. Just pick an available Dorm number for your character to live in. Every dorm room is shared by two people. Room mates oo; Since E V E R N I G H T Academy is so different so are the rooms, the room automatically takes on what ever appearance you wish…well half the room does, the other half turns into what ever your room mate wishes. Like most room mates there might be fights but don’t get caught by the teachers or it could mean corporal punishment OO;; Or possibly a reprimand by the academy’s head mistress who knows. What ever you wish to happen can and probably will happen. Have fun and stay active remember to obey all the school rules as well as the rp rules and site rules there’s not much so have fun!

+ || INFORMATION || +Here is the low down on how the classes/school part of the role-play works. Each students placement depends on when they were 'marked' and how long they have been going through the 'change'. (See the Glossary Post for info on the change) Here at E V E R N I G H T Academy, things are done a little differently, after all this isn't your average Academy. The students are required to attend their designated classes and the one elective of their choosing, as the teachers hold them through out the month. Each class typically meets at least twice a month, sometimes more depending on the teacher and course. All class times will be posted periodically by the headmistress or teachers. So keep your eyes peeled. Failure for a Student to attend at least one class a month could result in reprimand, and the punishments at here are not for the light of heart. The Vampire History is one of mysterious origin, but not quite as mysterious as it once was, not this day in age. We know more now, then we did before technology but still our origin is one of mystery even if we know what makes us the way we are, but the one question left to mystery is why and when exactly did we first appear upon this world? A question that proplexes even the oldest of the old pure ones to this very day. But heres some insight into what we know.
