They thought it was over. Roads were filled with cheering people who danced about merrily. Wizards and witches alike ran about, spreading the news about The Dark Lord's death. The heroes: Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and most important, Harry Potter, were lifted off their feet and carried amongst the cheering crowd.
"You-Know-Who is dead!" They all cried out happily.
"Cheers for Harry Potter and his friends!"
Several years passed after the dark lord's death. The main hero, Harry Potter, happily settled down and started a family with Ginny Weasley. Excuse me, Ginny Potter. His two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger got married and lived in a quiet little house somewhere in the countryside, visiting the Potter family every two weeks or so.
For once in his life, Potter was content. No longer did he have to worry about his scar hurting or Voldemort (ahem, you-know-who) scampering around killing people. The only thing he worried about nowadays was to be certain that his children in Hogwarts were happy and safe. He lavished them and gave them everything they asked for. It got to the point where even Ginny Potter scolded Harry for spoiling the kids.
His old school, Hogwarts was reopened under Professor and Headmaster McGonagall. At first, parents were a bit wary on sending their children back to Hogwarts, but later decided that it seemed ridiculous to not do so. And so Hogwart's corridors were once against crowded with budding wizards and witches; their laughter echoing throughout the whole school.
They were all happy. They believed that they were safe. That's when it began.
It started out with just one or two deaths; nothing large. Everybody thought it was just an accident; an experiment gone wrong. Suddenly, those two deaths grew to ten, twenty, thirty deaths. People were growing worried; this could be no coincidence.
Our story starts in Hogwarts very corridors...
