-:- Village of Hawick -:- --------------------------
There had been tells of a ghost - a dead guide within the village of Hawick - a young woman who had lost her way in the woods one winter, never to return. Not many believed these tales...but, young witches and wizards did, for they had seen her with their own eyes.
"'Ello, 'ello an' welcome ta Hawick. My name is Cecil Neatled'reed. I'll be your guide to this lovely town 'ere. Make sure ta keep your 'ands and 'eads to yourself - wouldn't want anythin' to happin' to all you little dears - just yet. "
One by one, she went through, handing each and every new witch or wizard a map of the village and the surrounding area.
"This 'ere will 'elp you find your way 'round this town. From time ta time something *may* change...if it does, you just come right back here an' ask me. I'll set you back on the right path."

-:- Witchery Brew -:- --------------------------
"Come along now...keep movin'...that's it. Come close...I won't hurt you... This 'ere,Witchery Brew, is the center of town. When in doubt you should always be able to find your way back here...
Also, should you find that you're in need of any supplies for your different spells, charms and potions you'll find them here...
Make sure you're careful about what you touch...a boy back in my day walked through one of tha mirrors. I believe you can still talk to Bastian, if you can find which mirror 'e is hidden in. 'E 'as been known ta give good advice as well as hints or small gifts."
Finding Sebastian Raine: As the thread progresses in pages I will hide an image of a mirror somewhere within the posts. There will always be a warning before I do this so that no one can say "But I didn't know" and whine.
If you are the first to find the mirror I will ask you to quote it and mark which page you found it on as well as make your RP post of walking through the Witchery Brew and finding the mirror. I will respond afterwards.
Once you have found Seb you can ask him one question or agree to answer one of his questions. If you ask him you gain knowledge. If he asks you and you answer correctly you will recieve a prize.
(Rules for finding/talking to Sebastian Raine are pending as are prizes to be given. All in all, it *should* be fun. Have patience.)

-:- StarFyre's Sweets -:- --------------------------
"Sweets, sweets...glorious sweets. I only wish I could taste a chocolate bitter again. And make sure you watch out for those Every Taste Tutters ...I remember one that tasted like my grandmama's cooking..." *shudder*"
"My name is Sylvia Starrfyre...welcome, welcome. What can I get for you today?"
The shelves were lined with various goodies...but, the ones behind the glass at the counter were the only ones up for sale at the moment. Perhaps, in time, there would be more...but, for now...this is what Sylvia had to offer...

Notice: I did not create these sweets. They were purchased from random shops around Gaia with my own gold. The proceeds from these sales will be going towards charity.
(In order to make a purchase just RP it out...tell Sylvia what you'd like and then, send me the trade. From there she'll hand you the candies...)

-:- The Black Cat -:- --------------------------
" 'Ere we 'ave The Black Cat...most often, older witches and wizards can be found 'ere durring the later hours, catchin' dinner or chatting over a drink or two. Of course, that doesn't stop younger ones like ourselves from slippin' in for a warm Buttercocoa durrin' the days. Go ahead inside...Darla will see to your needs."

-:- Rules -:- --------------------------
(Note from the RP creator: This is meant to be a fun environment for you and your witch or wizard. With all of the shops as well as the woods and such around the village there should be *plenty* for you to do.)
1. If you harass the NPC's they can harass you back. Chances are, they are at a *much* higher spell level than your character. Want to end up as a toad? -grin- 2. Keep it PG-13. *recalls previous toad comment* 3. Your character is a witch or a wizard...not god. Please do not attempt to god mode. 4. If there are any problems, please let me know...suggestions as well.

Determined to face her fears she padded towards the village with the wolf her guardian had assigned her for the evening padding along beside her. Kawa'hana was a soft blue color with pretty black and purple leopard spots on her hindquarters. She was much more calm than Sen and an appreciated presence for the nature of this visit.

Aneiren rubbed his eyes tiredly as he strode into the village. The courier bag he had slung over his shoulder bobbed lightly with his movement. A few brightly colored stray feathers clung to his pants, where they had rubbed off of Amberosia. These drifted away as he stopped and looked around, getting his bearings.

She stood just before the long walkway that lead to the Shrieking Shack, her cloak flowing in the gentle breeze as it whipped around her. Attatched to her belt was an athame... Nothing too dangerous, but it made her feel better. Her bodice was laced tightly and her stance said that she was ready for battle...even if it was just an internal one.
"I'm not afraid of you, you hear. Not you... Not your stupid mirrors... Not your hidden hallways." Her voice squeeked and the wolf nuzzled against her, licking at her fingers reassuringly.

The boy's attention, as always, strayed to the Shrieking Shack...and it's harrasser. Suddenly, he was wide awake, starting to jog before he realised that he was moving. His attention was locked on the girl, watching her gestures and her wolf as he tried valiantly to squash the panic that was rising in his stomach. This could _not_ be happening again...

"You hear me! I'm not afraid of you! I'm not..." She whimpered, trying to convince herself of these words more than she was trying to convince the house. She hated feeling frightened. It wasn't in her nature. She was strong.
Not strong enough... She felt tears streaking down over her cold cheeks as she sank to the ground, throwing her arms around the pretty blue wolf.

Aneiren struggled to remember her name as she dropped to the ground. It wasn't Yuriko, and the invisible witch, he hadn't heard her name. This must be...
"Trysta?" He slowed from the jog, confident she wasn't going to bolt for the house now that he was present. "What...uh...what are you doing?"

She looked up quickly, wiping at her eyes with the baggy white sleeve of her shirt. "I... Uh... I was..." She sniffled. "Trying to face my fears..."
The wolf turned defensively towards him, before looking to Trysta, nuzzling against her gently.

Aneiren shot the lurking demon-house a glare, one hand shifting to his wand. "Did it work?" He glanced at the wolf, then at Trysta again. "You're not going up there, are you?" He held out the hand that hadn't gone for his wand, offering her assistance up.

"In truth? I'm not sure if it worked or not..." She took his hand, gently tugging herself to her feet. "I have no intentions of going up to that house... An', isn't it? I don't believe I ever caught your full name..."
The wolf watched the two carefully, sitting still and silent.
