I am in love with learning about other cultures and have traveled to many lands. I'm American (Californian). So if you have some interesting things to say about things your culture does, let me know. I promise you it'll make me excited. (even if you're from America). 3nodding And do you have an accent? xp Apparently I have a Cali girl one. sweatdrop

I find it very strange but very common that Americans and British people are both infatuated with the others culture. Rarely a conversation goes by without someone from the opposite country experiencing some kind of amazement or sincere want to experience life in the others home country.
Now is this just my experience or is it a valid opinion? (Yeah I know opinions can't be valid, but you know what I mean razz )
As a Brit, I've ALWAYS wanted to live or spend some time in America. If its not the completely different environment, the vehicles, the lifestyle or just the accent.. I'm totally hooked, and probably always will be.
But on the flipside I can't understand why Americans would be so into the boring, drab, swine-flu infested country that I live in xD Its beyond me.
Anyway, enough essay.. thoughts and opinions pls razz

@RenZimE: Seems about right. I've done some traveling and whenever I talk to the people in other countries we're always super excited learning about the things we do. America's not that great, but it always seems like when you live somewhere you don't appreciate it as much as tourists do, and find it way less exciting. Britain is one of the next places on my list, I don't think it would be boring. Other countries aren't censored and uptight like we are so the art is 10X more beautiful (in my opinion). Plus there's so much more to see and I'm a fan of history. <3 Well then I guess you're just an experienced guy. ;D
@ Grilled Cheese: I love you haha.

I'm from Arizona, born and raised. However, lately I've been getting a lot of people asking where I'm from. My boyfriend is from North Carolina and I think his accent is rubbing off on me... I love accents. I've always wanted to meet someone from England or somewhere just to hear how thick theirs is.

@Found Nemo: I have a friend with that same accent. 3nodding I love accents too whee haha. I think my favorite accent comes from the Swedish, it's sort of englishy and oh so sexay ;p Humans are like parrots. When I was in Sweden I developed an accent from hearing it so much, when I got home everyone laughed, but now it's gone.

I'm from California... I guess I have an accent, especially to the people in GA (Where I currently live)... though... all I need is to hear someone with another accent for about 5 mins and then there I go, I'll start sounding just like them. It's kinda annoying since some people think I'm making fun of them, when it just comes out. sweatdrop

I'm a Californian as well, very different from the stereotypical blonde with the nice tan and short shorts x3 I wear all black, have black hair, and blue eyes. Nothing really culturally enriched about myself, although my first language was spanish. Being that because my nannies were all hispanic and practically raised me x3
