These are the rules you must adhere to when making a new Zombie character. Please read them thoroughly, and remember them. Should new character rules be added, the word [UPDATED] will appear in the thread's title. Be sure to check them again if they do! :]

RULES FOR ZOMBIE CHARACTERS

1.) Only a specific number of RPC Zombies may be in play in each thread. The limit for the number of zombies in a thread is THE NUMBER OF HUMAN RPCS + NPCs - 4.

EXAMPLES:
In the East Side of Buffalo, there are 7 active Human players.
7 - 4 = 3
The total number of Zombie RPCs allowed in the East Side thread is three.

2.) Each Zombie RPC is limited to THREE ABILITIES EACH. These abilities may be of your choice and of your making. Powerful abilities must also have some form of setback, and the setbacks magnitude must reflect the ability's power.

EXAMPLE:
Zombie Jesus has the ability to rapidly regenerate its wounds, allowing it to mend broken bones or severed limbs in a matter of minutes. The downside is that as it starts to regenerate, the rest of its flesh becomes soft and adhesive, gluing it to any surface it touches until it is finished regenerating.

Before you make your abilities, review the below information.

Basic intelligence is considered an ability. Basic intelligence grants your zombie the fundamental the understandings of a primitive human. Intelligence based abilities may NOT grant your zombie the ability to use or reload weapons, use explosives or grenades, operate machinery (including all forms of transportation), co-ordinate the actions of other zombies, and complete any form of advanced multi-sequenced task.

Any level of intelligence beyond basic is considered advanced, and counts as two abilities. A zombies level of intellect may NEVER reach the point that they are able to co-ordinate the actions of other zombies, reload a firearm, and operate machinery. "Learning" must be based on a trial and error

Being able to move any faster than a regular shambler (a zombie that moves at just below walking speed) is considered an ability.

Regeneration is considered an ability.

Anatomical mutations are considered an ability (Heads that can rotate 360 degrees, extra arms, etc.) Each mutation counts as one ability. Superhuman strength counts as two abilities.

Any form of supernatural powers are prohibited. No telekinesis, magic, etc.



3.)Zombies without regeneration never heal and never recover. This means that broken bones will not mend, and that open wounds will grow and become further infected, accelerating the decomposition of flesh. If your zombie does not have regeneration and is wounded, update your character's profile with the wound.

4.)A Zombie's Biography must be three five sentence paragraphs long, detailing their past and who they were before they became infected.

5.) NO ZOMBIE MAY HAVE MEMORIES FROM THEIR PAST LIFE. PERIOD.

6.)Once a zombie discovers the presence of a Human, they are obsessively drawn to them. In the presence of one Human survivor, Zombies may be able to resist the urge to attack. In the presence of more than one Human survivor that is readily accessible (Not behind a locked door, barricaded etc), a zombie with basic intelligence or less that is not alone MUST attempt to attack until wounded, when they may have the option of attempting to flee.

7.) After completing your character's profile, please PM it to me (ll BAYNE ll). Failure to do so will result in the freezing of your character's activity until the profile is PMed to me and accepted.
