Ok, so I thought this would be a great way to sort of introduce ourselves (yes there is the real one AND this one).
So post a TekTek of yourself here and if you want, include a few sentences explaining anything symbolic or just saying Hi!
Depending on whether or not I'm allowed (I don't really know). I'll send a few posters a small prize (just to encourage participation, it'll probably just be a fish.)
Here's mine:
I'm a huge nerd. I go to a high tech, high school, I've been around engineers my whole life (my grandpa designed the lunar lander), and after school I work in the clean room of a local high tech company (hence the outfit).
I clown around all the time (yes, at work too. whoops did I make that explode?). I'll do/say anything for laugh and I have a devilish sense of humor. I get in to local clubs who have stand-up pretty often because quite a few of my friends are aspiring comedians and take me with them when they perform. Then I heckle them of course but hey what are friends for.
The bow is there because I've been involved with archery for years and I'm ranked in my state. I arch competitively, hike for fun, and hunt to eat.
You all know why the David Boa is there. biggrin

Okay so here I am!
What to say about me?
Well, I love expressing myself through art. I have 6 tattoos (all drawn myself) almost 2 dozen piercings (ears, eyebrow, nose) and most recently I dyed my hair red/blonde in a tribute to the Thin White Duke!
I love wearing bright colorful clothes, I have a pair of boots that looks just like the 'Starman' gaia boots. They are positively my favorite thing to wear.
I like to make all sorts of crafts like jewelry, and I am currently building an RPG Video Game... therefore, my Laptop computer is very important to me.
I love small animals, I have a Hamster 2 Gerbils and a cat who has bee with me for 14 years now (I have pics of them on my profile if you would like to see them)!!
I'm a daydreamer. I'm always questioning things, I like to imagine what could be or might be, what ifs and all that. I can often be heard saying 'It's not fair!' quite like Sarah from Labyrinth. Fantasy is soo much more fun and bearable than reality, which is why I included the pixie, to represent my love of the imaginary.
The stars are very important to me as well. I'm eccentric, I'm odd and I don't fit in with most people. I've always felt very alien.
And of course, David Bowie influences my life everyday, who I've become, who I continue to be (hence the David Boa.)

Em helped me with this, I don't really mess around with tektek.  Music is my life. I play guitar, write music and sing. I listen to a wide variety of music, but my favorite genre is 90's grunge/rock. Another big interest of mine is Baseball, I love to play it and watch it. The summer is my favorite time of year, I can't get enough of the warm weather (the little fire guy in the summer shorts.) I love doing all kinds of outdoor activity, which is why I put the tree there. I really like taking long walks, going to parks, etc... smile 3nodding

Oh, hello there, internets!
Hullo there! My name is Britt, but I usually don't like to be called that online. biggrin
We'll start from head to toe.
I love hats, but especially berets. I used to wear them more when I had long hair, but I still throw one on every now and again. The front of my hair (bangs and some other chunks) is highlighted in red and orange tones, but the rest of it is a very dark brown.
Those black-ringed eyes represent my almost perpetual lack of sleep. XD
The scarf represents my addiction to scarves. The last time I checked, I had 32 scarves, but I might have lost/bought a few more since then.
My style usually isn't too complicated. I like skinny jeans and vests and tee shirts, but I'm starting to get more eccentric with my clothing. The black "bracelets" really stand for my hair elastics that I always have on my wrists, just in case. I have tan lines from those things.
I love webdesign and coding, so a laptop is important to me, and I also paint, so I need a paintbrush!
I have a dog, but she's slightly less vicious-looking. Actually, her appearances border on ridiculously goofy.
Some other stuff...
I love Swedish Fish.
I am always "starting my diet tomorrow!"
I adore booties and funky sandals!
I have designed tattoos in the past, and I'm currently working on one that I want to get across my entire back. Not to be a rebel or badass or anything; I've just wanted one for a long time and I think they can be really meaningful.

 Hey, I'm Jeff... But I prefer Ziggy. Hmmm. I'm a man of little words. I'm very quiet and withdrawn. David Bowie/Ziggy Stardust is my idol because he's so out there and glammed out.. something I wish I could be. I'm a total clean freak, so I have my trusty mop. I like to read, especially manga (I really love Japanese society, which is why I included the Japanese sun.) I like animals more than most people, my t-shirt is my attitude towards most of society.... I like internet relations more than real life (sadly) errmmm.... oh yea I love video games... How's that?

 I'm GrowingDandelion. I used to have an eyepatch because my uncle said that it would straighten out my lazy eye a while back, but it didn't work. The star on my forehead is supposed to represent my scar that I got in grade 8 which kind of looks like a star. I have a pencil because I like to write (one of my stories might be turned into a radio show). I like good clothing, and I can find all the goodstuff in a second hand store within fifteen minutes. It's actually where I get all my good stuff. My fashion sense is from 1969: If you can pull it off, wear it. I love glam and I have glitter makeup that I wear. I was in a play once in grade 9 (was also androgynous to an extent, because my hair was really short, and nobody could tell my gender), and I was The Wall in "Midsummer Night's Dream." And that's mostly it. Also, I am Canadian.

 I'm Sieffre. The hair (minus the white tuft) and eyes are what I look like in real life. I do wear glasses, and an earring. The big-a** grin is because I love to laugh; it's like my own personal drug. I have the sneeze spew thing because I'm often quite sickly.
I chose the zookeeper jacket because it makes the avatar's chest smaller, and I have a habit of wearing clothes like that in real life, to the point where I've been mistaken for a guy several times. The pants I chose for the shoes. I love spectator boots, mainly because I love the ideal of the "Victorian Gentleman."
The con badge is because I like anime, the mp3 player is for my love of music (including Bowie). The wing is to symbolize my dreams, which mean a lot to mean and centre around 4 main things, one of which is flying. The book I'm carrying is to symbolize that I like to read. It has an 18+ on it because the stories I like usually have more mature themes (and cause I like slash).
The two mood bubbles I added because I like owls and steampunk. The Santiago doll is to show my love for the Spanish language and its culture. The Timmy doll is there because the people that I find interesting are usually people that my peers think are weird, or ugly (again, Bowie). The dead rat is to symbolize my messy nature (I once found a dead mouse under a pile of crap in my room).
Lastly, the background is to symbolize my habit of shutting myself indoors for days at a time while I work on creating stories and fantasy works. The tree by my feets means that I do like the outdoors, but from a bystander's perspective.
