I was bored. Then I started to wonder: What is everyone's favorite type of music, what bands/ musicians/singers do they like?
My favorite band is Nirvana. My favorite type of music is rock, though I still listen to other types of music too. I also like the bands Seether, Shinedown, Depeche Mode, Linkin park, Garbage and Sum41.
The song I'm obsessed with right now is 'Fake it' by Seether.

I wouldn't like to pin myself down on one band for my favorite, but I love all kinds of music. I'd say if anything, probably the Foo Fighters are my favorite band (And really, they're the aftermath of Nirvana)
I can't stand rap or country.
Also, ska's pretty cool x]

Alternative Rock is the aftermath of Nirvana. Lol! Foo fighters also though, since, well, the band members. Lol!
Ska is pretty cool, though I can't ever really pin anything down as ska unless it's already labeled as it.

My favorite band is Paramore. And my fav type of music is rock. I hate country and most rap. Sometimes I come across a rap song that's kinda catchy.

Yeah I agree. Some rap is good, but most of it isn't. Some good ones are like Linkin park ( sometimes they do rap, but it has good background music and the beat is good. It's like rap AND singing. ) and another good one is Kanye West. I think I actually like his music now.

✖✖✖ D-SAN ✖✖✖ ◦◦◦◦◦◦ קα¢eץ §คץ§: ◦◦◦◦◦◦Hmm. I have a lot of favorites. At the moment those would include Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Hoobastank, Lifehouse, Shinedown, Creed, Rodney Atkins, Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, ect.
I like a lot of stuff. Eminem has a few good songs, but otherwise I don't listen to rap. I like country .... Also a bit of Ska, alternative rock, rock....
I HATE pop and only except a few Black eyed peas songs as good.
Oh, that reminds me, I have to go add Fake It to my playlist.◦ ◦ ◦ That is all ◦ ◦ ◦

Ska is pretty cool, though I can't ever really pin anything down as ska unless it's already labeled as it. I mean the band members more than anything. And I know you'd all hate the ska bands I listen to, just because well.. the nature of the songs. Ska is distinguished as it's one of the few things that still has brass instruments. With that in mind, I doubt it'd be hard to pick em out =P

Dave Grohl joined the band Nirvana as the group's drummer in 1990. In order to occupy himself during tours, he took a guitar with him and wrote songs. Grohl held back these songs from the band; he said in 1997, "I was in awe of frontman Kurt Cobain's songs. And intimidated. I thought it was best that I keep my songs to myself." Instead, Grohl occasionally booked studio time to record demos, and even issued a cassette of some of those songs called Pocketwatch under the pseudonym "Late!" in 1992.
Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home on April 8, 1994, and Nirvana subsequently disbanded.
Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist/drummer Dave Grohl in 1995. Grohl formed the group as a one-man project after the dissolution of his previous band Nirvana in 1994. Prior to the release of Foo Fighters in 1995, Grohl drafted Nate Mendel (bass), William Goldsmith (drums), and Pat Smear (guitar) to complete the group.
