Hello everyone! This is violets_are_purple, your friendly neighborhood Mod and creator of Where there's a will, there's a (givea)way, and I'm here to set up the rules for this subforum.
Rules:
~ Just because this is a subforum of the guild, doesn't mean the regular rules don't apply. Maybe you've forgotten the rules? Here they are again. This means that you DO NOT SPAM. Spamming will get you thrown out of this guild.
~This is not the thread for selling, buying, or asking for donations. That thread is here.
~Giveaways are awesome! However, good giveaways require your commitment, effort and time. If you're creating a giveaway, you should have enough Gold or Items to give to a massive group of people. If you don't, put a list of items that you are giving away on your first post, so that people aren't disappointed.
~If you are posting on a quiz, please realize that it is only truly "money making" if you post each question is a separate post.
~SCAMMING is not allowed! If you come across what you think is a scam, please report it to myself or any moderator. If we find that it is a scam, the person scamming will not only be reported to Gaia, but their thread will be locked and the member will be kicked out. Once again, SCAMMING is not allowed!
~If you are doing a Raffle, you must make it an action. This can be as part of a post either on a post in the guild or a post that we can easily find. If you are uncertain on how to make a post action for raffles, let me know!
~As a courtesy to the other threads, please limit yourself to one contest thread and one quizzes thread.
~If you are no longer using the thread, please put "CLOSED -- DELETE" in your thread title. That way, I can delete your thread, and others won't accidentally try participate in a nonexistent thread.
~There is no rule against linking outside of this guild onto a regular thread, but you are not allowed to link outside of this guild into another guild. So while you may link to your Chatterbox shop, you may not link to burn.
~Spelling errors in topics make me sad. Please make sure your thread name is spelled correctly (or if there is a spelling error it is on purpose, as in "The Buzz on 'To Bee or Not to Bee'") or I will.
~New rules will be posted as necessary. Make sure to double-check this page every time you start a new thread! Whenever a new rule comes out, I will update this post and the thread title. Everyone has 48 hours (unless they PM me and let me know they can't fix their thread in time) to comply with the rules. After 48 hours, I will go and delete threads that do not comply with the rules. Currently, there aren't any thread-changing rules, so there aren't any problems!
