I do a lot of thinking when I have nothing to do. Which usually I don't have anything to do. So here are some random things that come to me.

An Event
I know it hasn't been that long since spirit week, but maybe we could make a small event with a prize. I wouldn't mind contributing a bit of gold towards a fund to buy an item to give out as a prize.

As for the event, it shouldn't last too long. If it is too long some will get bored with it. It could be something simple like dressing up for a few days and picking an overall winner with a big prize and a small prize for those who are winners for each day.

Main Forum
There are a lot of threads that aren't being used anymore. They were good for one day like the twin needed thread. Now they are just taking up space and make a cluttered home page. If we could get enough gold for a sub-form to put them in and make the front page look better, it would be nice. Just a random idea. Doesn't exactly go with the whole getting members but it makes it look nice.

Front page
It is nice to have a green image because yes leaves on trees do remind me of 06' since we are the green ones. The pictures is kinda big and stretches my page on my tiny monitor. I'm also thinking of those who have dialup. It makes for a very big lag for a picture like that. I used to have it before and know their pain. A front page is supposed to inviting, and something that lags, stretches a page, or isn't appealing well to the eye doesn't drag people in whether they are an 06' or not. A little banner would be easier on the eyes for those with tiny monitors and would be dial-up friendly.

On the front page we could post some of the events that are coming up. Plan some things ahead of time. This could be meetings or if we are holding a contest. It can just be towards the bottom to let people know we are trying to be active.

Misc.
When you first come to a place you want to feel welcome. I know there is a thread that says welcome. But if there was a thread to introduce yourself, tell people a bit about you, and make you feel welcome, people might come in maybe a bit more. I would make this, but I was thinking the head admin could make it?

Ok Emi, i'm really happy with your suggestions, and I want you to know I made a variety of changes, thanks all to you.

Event- I now set up an active contest topic in the Games & Events subforum!

Main forum- I moved all threads to an all new recycling subforum.

Front page- I changed some of the coding and got a smaller, more attractive picture.

Misc.- I added a poll and introduction topic where members can introduce themselves, learn about the guild, and answer a poll for fun.

Thanks Emi, you helped me make the next batch of upgrades to the guild. Keep it coming!

And i would be more than happy to donate to the guild in order to get a fun day/week going. I like the dressing up idea, (and best for that day and week) I think that would go over well!!
