The door entering into this room lies at the end of a hallway on the corner of the floor, and like their old apartment door is a stark contrast to the drab normal doors to other rooms in the complex. Crafted out of a deep mahogany stained piece of Ironwood, the one trait the door does not share with its predecessor is the lack of the burned and pitted surface on the side facing into the apartment. Not yet anyway.
The initial area once entered gives a magnificent view through a large set of windows opposite the door from the building's top (third?) floor facing the east and overlooking the pool below. The first room serves as the living room and two squishy armless white couches face each other with a glass-topped coffee table between the two, all within a slight recess in the middle of the room. Along the walls are various hangings of either watercolor nature scenes or (humorously) posters for popular bands or groups in frames. An overhead ceiling fan provides light to the room in the center and a floor lamp next to a bookshelf packed full of volumes does so to the left.
Next to the bookshelf, a hallway branches off and leads to a small three-door intersection. The door straight ahead leads into the bathroom containing a counter top sink with various drawers containing mundane bathroom things, a toilet, and a bathtub/shower combination.
The door to the left leads into Miles' room and is carpeted with pool table-green carpet. An old, and slightly battered looking writer's desk sits next to the small window, covered with papers, pencils, and books on the subjects concerning souls. A now nearly half empty bookshelf lies next to his bed, and the illumination for the room comes from lamps on his desk and next to his bed outfitted with incandescent bulbs.
By stark contrast, Nicxan's room is open and colorful. The floor is covered with an amusing multicolored carpet and a bunk style bed sits over her desk which is mainly taken up by a computer. Posters similar to the ones in the main room (albeit without the frames) adorn the walls and two giant beanbag chairs sit next to the wall perpendicular to her dresser with a large mirror on top.
The final room of the apartment is to the right upon entering, and the kitchen is entered through a swinging door to the side of the bar counter top with close able hatch where meals are eaten. While the kitchen itself is fairly standard and contains all the basic kitchen amenities, though with no dishwasher, the spice rack on the far wall is by far the most complete, and overstocked one ever seen. Each jar is clearly marked with what it contains, though some ingredients seem like they would be better suited in an aromatherapist's workshop than a kitchen.
And though pains have been taken to hide them (even as a potted plant) fire extinguishers are present in every room of the apartment.
