@If you have gold then I'd buy myself either a watermeat, a Lila or a Memphis. These are some of the best fish to have and I also find that if you have them people are more likely to look at your tank. Violet posted some other fish that are good but cheaper. If you don't have much gold start with those and find a good booty grab thread to post your tank in as well as for you to grab other tanks from. One of my favourites is called "
Stalker's Paradise". If you take the time to go through about the first twenty pages you can make between 10 and 20K. It's an amazing thread! Once you have a few fish you can start working on decorations.
Then again none of this matters if you have access to cash... which I don't. If you do have access to cash try buying one or more of the fish bundles. They're a really good deal and you can sell off what you don't want to buy decorations for your tank. Hope this helps. I'll try to think of more later.
