I want to set up a good booty grab tank. What kinds of fish should I have? Anything I should do in advance. Any sort of advice would be appreciated ^^.

watermeats and the mermaids are great fish to have in a gold tank
also lots of decorations is said to have a positive impact on the fish happiness, which in turn, increases the glow rate.
also a good gold tank is no good without exposure!
join a grabbing thread or post often in as many forums as you can!
posting in the aquarium forums is a good choice because people actually look there for grabs.

other good fish: ninja, knight, laser fish (for the intermediate)
the starfishes, especially the blue ones (for the more advanced)
hopefully this helps

@NoUsername - Could you please stop discouraging people from posting. This is posted here because someone wants the guild to grow and has a question.

@If you have gold then I'd buy myself either a watermeat, a Lila or a Memphis. These are some of the best fish to have and I also find that if you have them people are more likely to look at your tank. Violet posted some other fish that are good but cheaper. If you don't have much gold start with those and find a good booty grab thread to post your tank in as well as for you to grab other tanks from. One of my favourites is called "Stalker's Paradise". If you take the time to go through about the first twenty pages you can make between 10 and 20K. It's an amazing thread! Once you have a few fish you can start working on decorations.

Then again none of this matters if you have access to cash... which I don't. If you do have access to cash try buying one or more of the fish bundles. They're a really good deal and you can sell off what you don't want to buy decorations for your tank. Hope this helps. I'll try to think of more later.

Like everyone said, Watermeats and Mermaids are your best bet for large money drop (they drop blue and green coins, which are worth more than regular coins)! But all fish glow, even the skittle fish! So try to get as many fish as you can!

Also, in your siggy, put down that you would like to get invited to grabbing threads. Some grabbing threads are invite only (I think sweatdrop ) so getting invited to one would be great advertisement.

Also, keep your fish happy! They have a higher trigger that way, plus they stay alive longer, which means more booty grabbing, which means more money in your pocket.

Oh, and I would also invest in some Hermit Cats. You either win them in the game or buy them on the market (about 900 gold) they have a reeeally long life expectancy (13 weeks!!!) so it's a good investment for beginners!

Good Luck!!! 4laugh

If I were going to set up a thread for BG I would be inviting foremost watermeats, lilas and piranhas afterwhich I would be looking at other high triggers such as the mini monsters and starfish, etc. smile
