To people who have no idea who Mark Wakefield is: He was the original Linkin Park vocalist back then when they were still called "Xero", though quit. Never heard him sing? But just in case--- Chester Bennington is: The current vocalist[along with Mike Shinoda] of Linkin Park, and the one who replaced Mark Wakefield.

Not to be rude or anything. But Mark was never part of the band Linkin Park. He was part of Xero and Hybrid theory. Then During the rain of Hybrid theory Mark left and Chester joined. Then shortly after the release of the album Hybrid theory they Changed the name to Linkin Park. After the Lincoln Park where some of the band members used to chill in Cali. Chester was the last piece of the puzzle of what is now as Linkin Park. But Mark was never in Linkin Park. Again no need to be rude. But again this is a no brainier. There is no Linkin Park Without Chaz. Said so by the other members Brad, Mike, Joe, Phoenix, and Rob.
But yes is is sad if a LP fan has never heard of Mark. Cause he also worked on The reanimation CD as well.

So if there is anything you would like to know just hit me up I know a lot. So yea they changed from hybrid theory cause some one owned the name and they had to change it. But I do thank Mark for what he did to bring the Linkin Park we know into a stepping stone. *smiles*
