Every page you visit on gaia theres an advertisement and when you click on it , it tells you to fill in your personal details.
All for a stupid scam!

I ever only clicked on one, and that was by accident 'cus the page was still loading, and I didn't see it XD
The ads are not really the problem, the problem is what they are advertising for. It would be nice if they had more anime/manga ads, instead of "have you been a dad today?". No, I'm a mom and not american...
I've been visiting a german community site, where the ads were chosen by the user. I got danish ads for diapers (although not needed, but still better than being a 'dad'), kids clothing and magazines, because I could fill in a form with my age, interests and other stuff. They then showed sponsor-ads that would maybe suit me as a single person, and not a whole crowd of random people.

I see no ads on any pages, unless I choose to see them....thanks to AdBlockPlus. It's a small, quick DL and I love it.

Right.
Adblock Plus is really handy for that stuff.
You know that "Your computer may have viruses" pop-up? I don't even get that anymore.
