As the name implies, this is an idea/ suggestions thread for our RP world. This particular thread will cover all discussion about our undead opponents, and what sort of things you would like to see regarding them.

-Suggest/ Comment on Zombie Types here
-Discuss/ Brainstorm with other members about Zombie Types
-Post anatomical/ concept research regarding your zombie ideas!!

Please be respectful of all members' ideas. Even if you do not feel they are a good idea, or they are not implemented into the RP environment, be kind enough to act civil.

Hmm, here's some I STOLEDED :O
Mass: a clutter of rotted, gooey, mutated, half-solid body parts all moved by scattered muscles and virii. ((sidenote: I have no idea how to kill it! XP Well, with physical weapons. Do not worry, I posted my most radical idea first . . . perhaps I shall get a pic if any of you consider it useful as an X-rank zombie))
Krezoar:((I hate the name, but zombie-ninja would not have worked))has a normal human's body structure except for the addition of multiple tentacles were the arms used to be, the head's neck bones have been removed along with the organs, the skull has been removed, and a massive amount of brains have been stored in the chest area, making it a very easy zombie to kill unless it sneaks up on you since it doesn't scream. It uses it's long tentacles for simple climbing and fast moving, can me supplemented for legs if damaged.
I may have more MONSTROCITIES later! Ah, the deviousness of the manipulation of a corpse, so many entertainingly gruesome uses.

The Cripples: Ever wonder what happened to a zombie that you downed, but didn't kill? Well bebecome Cripples. |Cripples are zombies who have mutated only a slight bit. Their uppere body strength is increased, as their lower body becoems useless. They will usually hide underneath things, like beds to get survivors by surprised. Orthey will even stay up hide, like on ceilings of parking lots or basements. Their upper body strength allows them to strike at their surprised opponents fast. Theyusually aim forthe ankle if on the floor or for the neck and throat from up top. They die like regular zombies, one shot in the head.


|The Shield: An infected with giant arms. Their bone and muscle structure has had massive mutation. They are hard as steel, able to block standard weaponary. They usually block attacks for other infected. Their truth weakness in their leg and their back. Good team can take down a Shield with no problem. They are more of a support type of infected, and rarely seen by itself. They also use their arms to ram down doors. Tougher doors can be smashed by this infected.

Krezoar and Mass are too radically developed, mutation wise, to be implimented yet. They're certainly good ideas (i preffer Mass over Krezoar) though, and you should continue looking into them. Elaborate, and we could start making headway on deviants to be encountered in the future.

Shield, while a great idea, would tip the scales so far out of survivors' favor that it would be extremely difficult to survive. I like the fact that it has weak points (something you clearly did to make the creature less overpowered) but zombies do not have enough intelligence to implement a defense/ offense strategy like this. Implementing Shied would mean that they do, and given their ability to smash through doors and how dense their arms are, the monster's basically a weapon for tearing through all defense.

Cripples, on the other hand, will be implimented. I've always liked this idea nad was considering adding it anyway, but the fact that we have members suggestions it further proves the fact that we gotta have 'em.

Ha. Zombie pikachu... Now that would cause me to piss myself. I have an idea for a more, grotesquely mutated Deviant. Something that takes after a game I have been playing recently...

Necromorpth: A Deviant with the basic bodily structure of a human, but its arm a mutated into blades from the elbows down. A simple headshot would kill these like any other zombies, but these can use their newly developed claws to climb up walls, and or slash through bone easily. Their basically more dangerous and a little bit slower versions of the runner.

O,o Hey kunkun, they sound freaking scary! However, I think the blades would almost certainly have to be applied is the only issue I see. And wootness! I usually called the Mass as my best idea, and other ones name fails! It doesn't have to exactly be what I said, I just think there be a sneaky zombie! Their tentacles like to strangulate, there are no hands on them--just some info I forgot to mention. I shall search my necromacy database for more ideas! I am thinking of stealing the "holes" from Silent Hill for MY NEXT PROJECT! mwahaha more on that later, when I have my laptop back! ah, parting from it is such sweet sorrow, lol.

Here is my newest idea ^^ which I stolded again, WUUT.
It is basically the exact same thing XD this monster from Silent Hill is called a Hole (sorry, it's a little gruesome):User Image
It spits stomach acid that is very high in PH levels, making it very easy to melt people. They have no arms, eyes, noses, and their mouths stretch from their face down to below the stomach, like the creature had been cut open--and from that orifice the acid sprays in copious amounts. They move extremely slow, even for undead standards.

I have a few suggestions, though one of them is stolen from RE:4...

I will start with that one, of course:

Regenarator!:
A highly mutated form of zombie that is, quite frankly, the baddest b***h on the block. A simple head shot will not suffice, you have to full on take his head off in any hope of taking him out. Body shots will do nothing more than peak his interest, it is the zombie form of the few deviants we have seen before, Slate and Onyx, though this guy isn't as smart, nor as charming. he has no eyesight, that was given up to be replaced by greater smell and hearing. His body repairs itself rather quickly, losing a limb is nothing if he can pick it up and reattach it, the only way to kill this thing is by completely separating the nerves from the brain, a decapitation or a proper heavy caliber shot to the spine should do the trick.


Original type zombie that I would like to throw out...
Schlaf-Attentäter:
German name for Sleeping assassin this zombie is something that nobody want's to stumble upon. These beings are not to be taken lightly, they will make you want to double check every body, they will lie amoungst the bodies of the dead, waiting for you to go past, they are quiet, clever, and are amoung the most intelligent of the undead.


and the main, exciting zombie:
Mike/Sarah:
A zombie that has retained much of its intelligence as a human, the virus has not taken complete control, the urge for flesh is there, they are not messed with by other zombies, these "ARE" the most dangerous of any undead you might face. They could possibly somewhat understand english, though they will likely not be able to speak it because of their body disposition, they can do human actions, even to the extent of picking up a gun and firing off a round or two. We are talking evolution here kiddies, they are growing smart. We have given them two basic human names for male and female to classify their types, more catchy than thinking zombies, don't you think? These beings will learn, adapt more quickly, and above all else, screw over anybody that might be in their path.

A smarter zombie type is a good idea John, but remember the rules Bayne has laid down:

Basic intelligence is considered an ability. Basic intelligence grants your zombie the fundamental the understandings of a primitive human. Intelligence based abilities may NOT grant your zombie the ability to use or reload weapons, use explosives or grenades, operate machinery (including all forms of transportation), co-ordinate the actions of other zombies, and complete any form of advanced multi-sequenced task.
Any level of intelligence beyond basic is considered advanced, and counts as two abilities. A zombies level of intellect may NEVER reach the point that they are able to co-ordinate the actions of other zombies, reload a firearm, and operate machinery. "Learning" must be based on a trial and error.
5.) NO ZOMBIE MAY HAVE MEMORIES FROM THEIR PAST LIFE. PERIOD

Might be something you may want to discuss with him, but I must say, I agree with these rules--it would confuse a survivor's individuality and a zombie's as well. Giving a zombie the capacity to become a survivor would be fatal to this RP, I believe.

Well, I never said anything about him being able to operate anything bigger than a gun and opening doors, and he can't really do much when it comes to coordinating zombie attacks, they would all be too stupid to listen to him... the most a single zombie can do is give out a moan that says "hey, there is food over here, everybody should join in on the hunt!" and what not.

That Zombie still has a long time until it can be put in, and the memory was just a perk, it doesn't have to be there, we can take that on out...

Don't forget, it isn't going to be able to talk, it might slightly understand language, but it will not listen when it comes to ones life, he will eat you either way.

yes, and, in all truth, I have been thinking about weather or not to start up with the zombie evolution process.

Or one could call it the learning process that some of them will be going through during the entire process of this RP, shamblers are at the bottom, of course, and we shall go up from there

I will need to make something like a pyramid or a timeline, something that shows the different levels and threat level of the zombies.
