Freaksrus Stella was keeping watch over the tree and was starting to sleep. Celesi wandered over and took a few Star Fruits off the tree. She then hid them in the forest. Stella was mad at her, but instead of having her go find them and return them. She decided to let Gaians find them. The way was open for them. Stella smiled at them all. "Welcome! You get to be the first to enjoy a special Treasure Hunt." "There are three paths you may choose. One into the Deep forest. One toward the lake. The other leads to a clearing. Please Choose your path and may you find them." Celesi chuckled. "Good luck all of you!" She smiled and waved, then turned and ran. Now which way will you choose... Every one must choose a path. It will be a Choose your own adventure Quest. If you want to make a new topic for your responses that is fine. You may also post your responses here. RP is fine but not required. Vydia had finally convinced Cliff, well she would have done it without his permission too, to let her partake in the scavenger hunt. Arriving at the worn spot that branched out into three distinct paths, she glanced around. She recognized a familiar face or two but decide she needed to focus on the game, not on playing around, if she wanted to win.
Whilst the dirt path that lead to the forest looked exciting, it would probably be hard to find anything in it, and the clearing to the right looked rather boring. Vydia decided to try the route that followed the lake. She caught Stella’s fleeting form and took it as an okay to go. With a grin spread across her face she raced down the path, excitement compelling her feet to move quickly.

Vydia went to the Lake. She saw a boat, but it was foggy out.
Will she take the boat across the lake, go right, or go left.

Vydia slowed her pace until she fully stopped, the fog made it hard to see very far in front of you. She spotted the faint outline of boat on the lake shore and she could make out at least two other paths. Despite her love of pirates and the urge to captain the small boat, she didn’t feel comfortable trying to cross a lake with so much fog hindering her vision. She eanie meanie minie moed and choose the left path. She picked up her pace until she was jogging, looking out for any sudden obstacles the fog might be hiding.

Vydia jogged left into the fog. About halfway around the lake she saw a Shadow. Because she was not paying attention, she was unable to stop herself. She slammed into Kathin who had just tripped out of the boat.
She saw a path to her left into the woods, or she could continue to go straight.

Vydia stumbled backwards after having run into or been ran into, she couldn’t tell, but managed to steady herself before she could fall. Her eyes fell on a cool colored boy and they became slits. “You should look where you are going.” She didn’t add that that was hard to do with all the fog everywhere or that it had been equally her fault. She stood with her arms crossed across her chest as she jutted out her chin and tried to look as menacing as possible. “Are you also in the hunt?”

"Ouf!" Kathin cried and he fell onto the ground. It was damp, and he didn't like it. It wa almost as bad as sitting in that puddle on the bench of the boat. Sheepishly he rubbed his head and got to his feet. "Maybe... You should watch where your going," he replied looking left and right, and then straight, sighting for the next best area to go to. "Yes..." he replied in a little delay, squinting at the path straight ahead. "I'm on the hunt! I'm going to be the best treasure hunter there is!" he laughed and poked a thumb into his chest. "I'm going to find these missing stars for Stella!"

“You! Pshhh, I am going to get too them first.” Her arms still crossed, she too surveyed the area, noting that the path seemed to continue forward while another turned out into the forest. She glanced back at the boy, “And I was watching where I was going, very carefully I might add, but you came tumbling through the fog.”
“Well I’m going to go this way,” she motioned further up the path the children stood on, the straight one, “So you had better go the other way.” Not wanting to waste time arguing further she stalked off, walking briskly past the other boy. “My name’s Vydia. I’m only telling you so you’ll know it’s me when you hear I have won.” She called behind her shoulder.

Kathin placed his hands on his hips. "You're a bad sport!" he huffed. "I came to the lake, first. But I tumbled out of the boat. It was wet and foggy. You just happened to be in my way." He mirrored her and folded his arms. "I was going to go that way, too. You took my idea!" he shouted, spinning hard on his heel to the left. "Fine then. You go that way. My name is Kathin, and that will be the name Stella shouts when she see's me with her star. She'll be so happy!" He smiled, and continued walking down the Left path.

Vydia went straight and the fog had thickened. She could go back, continue to go straight or run into the woods on her left.

Vydia was mumbling to herself, angry at the boy for killing her mood. “How could I steal his idea, I’m not psychic, I didn’t even know he wanted to go that way! I would have gone that way anyways but how dare he accuse me.” She suddenly became aware of how thick the fog had become. It was a little eerie and she crossed her arms around her now more for protection then out of anger. She wasn’t going to back down though and headed straight, continuing on the path, determined to see where it lead, into the suffocating fog.

Vydia braved the fog and was awed by a strange castle in front of her. The fog was gone. She could go to the castle or to the left.

A triumphant grin spread across the girls face as she spotted the castle. Finally the fog thinned out until it was completely gone; making the caste much easier to see. There was no doubt in her mind she was going to explore the lone castle. She launched into a run and approached the castle.

Vydia ran to the castle. She could open the door or go left or right.

Vydia hesitated at the doors, unsure if she should intrude lest somebody live there, but it looked pretty empty so, with all her weight, she pushed on the two large doors. She hoped the castle wouldn't be too large to search.
