Maria looks at William with the same face she always wears in front of people.
"I was hunting. Got a problem with that?" She said stubbornly.

His eyes narrow now.
He leans over and placse his hands on each side of Maria's head, trapping her against the tree. Taking one hand off, he wiped away a little bit of the blood on Maria's face.
"And feeding makes you pale? Makes you look sick? Or maybe it makes it look like you're in pain, hmmm?" He commented, putting his hand back, to keep Maria from escaping.

Maria starts to giggle, not the cute giggle, the twisted giggle. Then it turned to laughing. Twisted laughing like she just killed someone.
"Hurt? What are you talking about? I'm perfectly fine. And besides, why would someone like you care about someone like me hm?"
Maria's face cracked into a twisted smile.

William flinched slightly at her laugh, but he didn't back down or away, no matter how much his body and mind screamed for him to do so.
Get away from her William! His mind screamed.
"Why wouldn't I?" William opposed.

She giggled again.
"Cause I'm not Maria." She giggled again as she drove a knife she had beside her into his heart.
"Awe, is your heart broken?" Alice said teasing him. "Well then, let me fix it." She said as she dug the knife in deeper and twisted it.

William gasped in pain and stepped back, bringing the knife with him. His hands grasped the knife as he fell to his knees.
"What, not going to drink my blood?" He spat, struggling to get to his feet again.
Once he was there, he stared at "Maria".
"And if you're not Maria, then I have no reason to hate her," he said simply, grasping the blade again and turning it into water, the puddle turning red as it raced down the front of his clothes.

"Hmm. Your not that interesting. I'll be going now. But next time, try and actually give me a good fight." She then went back away where she came from, giving Maria back her body.
She fell to her knees, eyes faded, she then started to fall face-first to the ground.

William wrapped his arms around Maria, holding her up.
"So, wanna tell me about her?" He asked, black blotches dancing in his vision.

Maria's faded eyes began to dissapear as her eyes slowly closed, falling unconcious.

"Geez. Why did I have to try and get the girl?" William muttered to himself, still holding Maria up. He hummed a lullaby under his breath.

While Maria was motionless, memories of her past life flashed through her mind. They good, the bad, and the bloody.

"Maria? Come on, wake up," William whispered in Maria's ear.

Maria didn't respond. Even if she could she wouldn't because she was too distracted by the memories that she cherished. Suddenly, they all dissapeared. Her family appeared instead. Her father, a handsome strong man. Her mother, with her beautiful blue eyes. Her brother, with his heart warming smile. She started to run over to them, calling to them, but she couldn't get any closer to them. They suddenly vanished. She stopped running. She froze there for a minute and fell to her knees, face burried in her hands, tears crawling down her cheeks.
(Note: She is imagining this, she is still unconsious if you got confused)

William watched helplessly as tears fell from Maria's closed eyes.
She'll definitely wake up from this, William thought to himself just before he kissed Maria on the lips.
