Maria sits on the windowsill singing Michiyuki (Loveless ending) while looking out the window thinking to herself. Like always.

Ethan walks overm and sits across from Maria.
"Hey. What's up?" He asks.

Maria slowly shifts her eyes to see Ethan across from her.
"Do you mind?" Maria says with no emotion at all.

Ethan smiles, and rubs a thin, pale hand on her head.
"Nope." He laughs, and stretches her face into a smile.

Drake walked inside the mansion and sat down.
He was watching 2 people talk, but rather didn't care.

She looked over and saw Drake across the room.
"Why can't I get any privacy?" She asked herself. She hopped on the window ledge and made her way across the room and out the door.

William stopped Maria just outside the door, his sister nowhere to be seen(for once).
"You know you aren't allowed to have any privacy," he said, leaning forward so that he and Maria were face-to-face and there was only an inch between their faces. He smirked.

William's smirk spread into a chesire-cat-like grin.
"Free country." He said simply, tapping Maria lightly on the nose with his fingertip.

Maria brought her hand up and slapped his arm away from her and pushed him out of the way and walked out the door.
"Fool" She muttered.

"Says you," William called after her, chuckling at her reaction.
Everyone reactions differently.
He faked a big, dramatic burst of sadness.
"Mariam, you're so cold."
Then the fake tears vanished and a grin spread onto his face again, his eyes twinkling mischeviously(sp).
"But I'll warm you up to me."

"Keep trying. You'll only fail." Maria said as she walked out the door, leaving everyone at the Mansion.

"We'll see, little Maria," William whispered to himself.
"Bugging the girl?" Chrystal asked her brother, raising an eyebrow at him from down the hall.
"Of course I am," he answered, smiling over at her.
"So, why not one of the girls in the marketplace to flush and giggle over your fruitless flirts? Why go after Maria?" Chrystal asked him, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall.
"Maria interests me. And besides, why go to a girl in the marketplace, see her for just a bit, then leave, when I can have Maria all the time, here?" He answered with a smirk.
"You're the one who'll get hurt in the end."
"We'll see."
