Asasgao Shoe Store has all kinds of shoes for both men and women. The prices are moderate, but the styles are modern, so it's a popular spot for many different kinds of people.

Madoka laughed as they excited ViVi Outfitters and entered Asagao Shoe Store. The place smelled of rubber and leather, the smell of new shoes. He wondered where the shoes Tomoko was looking for would be at... "We can decide on one, then," he said with a nod.
Tomoko immediately began looking around, and found the place with the sort of shoes she was looking for. "Na-chan, what's your shoe size?" she asked, looking at him expantantly, waiting for an answer. The whole section of the store they were currently deployed within was surrounded by knee-high and thigh-high gothic-looking boots, and the other side of the shelves had more innocent-looking shoes in brighter colors.

  Nathaniel smiled wider and nodded, jsut happy that he and Madoka would be to go out together at all. It didn't really matter to him where they went. As they entered Asasgao, he looked around curiously, raising his eyebrows at the selection. "Well, in men's sizes I wear a size six. So that converted to women's would be..." he pursed his lips in thought for a moment, "Eight and a half, I think." He finished, nodding his head slightly.

Madoka thought for a moment. Is that average for Americans? he wondered curiously. He has small feet... He laughed a little, quietly, and thought about where he would take Nathaniel once they'd finished and Nathaniel was in costume. Maybe he could take him to the restaurant in Tokyo. It would be a little expensive, but Nathaniel would definitely be surprised.
Then, Madoka remembered something he had wanted to look at when they came here, and he bit his lip lightly, thinking about it. "Nat," he said, looking at the long-haired boy by his side. "I'd like to go look at something in a different store. Would it be okay if I left you with Tomoko for a moment?" He smiled warmly.
Tomoko continued, looking around and around at the many different kinds and colors of shoes. She stopped at a very elegant-looking pair of elevated Mary Janes, black in colour and very shiny. When she heard Madoka say he was going to go, she pouted. "Where are you going?" she asked impatiently, crossing her arms and turning toward her godfather.

Nathaniel raised his eyebrows in surprise at the sudden question, but nodded. "Sure, but where are you going?" he asked, mirroring Tomoko's question but not her tone. He didn't mind if he was left alone with Tomoko, he liked her. She didn't scare him at all like most girls did.
((Believe it or not, that's both me and my dad's shoe size! XD I come from a very short family...))

Madoka smiled at Tomoko and Nathaniel. "I'm just going to check something out that I'm thinking about buying," he said, trying to be just vague enough. He leaned forward and kissed Nathaniel on the cheek. "I'll be back in a flash." He waved with a warm smile and walked out of the shoe store, disappearing into the crowd of the mall.
Tomoko sighed and waved him off, turning back to Nathaniel. "What do you think?" she asked, her expression softening and pointing out the shoes. "They're not too high, but still elevated. The chance of you tripping shouldn't be too high in these."

Nathaniel blushed a bit at the kiss on his cheek, and waved back at Madoka as he left. He wondered what his teacher was going to buy, before his attention was pulled away by Tomoko. Looking at the shoes in question, he saw that they were indeed not too high, and they didn't really have heels, which relieved him. "I like them." he said with a smile. "They don't look too dangerous.... and they'd make me taller." the taller aspect is what he was liking the most. The student used to be teased about his height when he was little, he had always been on the sall side.

Tomoko laughed. "Dangerous," she repeated, sighing. "Yeah, these should be nice and safe." She picked the shoe box off of the shelf and peered at the shoes with admiration. She took them out of the box and handed them to Nathaniel. "Let's see how they look." She smiled. This was lots of fun, but she wondered if Nathaniel liked her. He didn't seem to dislike her.

Nathaniel smiled warily as he sat down on a little bench near by so he could take off his current shoes and try on the mary janes. "Sorry, I can be a bit of a worry-wart sometimes." he said sheepishly, laughing softly.
Once he had the shoes on, he carefully stood up, and found that it wasn't hard to move at all. They added about three inches to his height, and it felt humorously strange. "Wow, I've never been this tall before." he said, laughing. Nathaniel knew that this wasn't exactly tall, but to him it was.

After he'd finished where he'd been, Madoka made his way slowly back into the shoe store. He made sure the bag was stuffed in his pocket, and not visible from any angle. Though the lump was still apparently there.
Tomoko watched happily as Nathaniel walked around a little in the shoes, laughing a little. "I've never been tall, period," she said with a small giggle. She then noticed that Madoka had returned and she waved him over. When he reached where they were, Tomoko sighed. "Where have you been, mister?"

Nathaniel laughed as well, "Neither have I." he said, a bright smile on his face. His smile widened even further when he saw Madoka, and as the man came up to them, he leaned up and kissed his cheek. Not having to stand on his toes and pull his boyfriend down for a change made him giggle slightly. "Welcome back." he said, vaguely noticing the lump in Madoka's pocket.

Madoka smiled as he made his way over to where Nathaniel was standing next to Tomoko. He chuckled when Nathaniel gave him a kiss on the cheek without having to stand on his toes. "Thank you... you gained some height," he said, an amused look on his face. And at Tomoko's question, he rolled his eyes. "Who are you, my mother?"
Tomoko huffed. "No, I'm your goddaughter," she said, a very unamused look on her face. "Nevermind, then. What do you think of the shoes?" She smiled again. "Na-chan, you can walk in them, right?"

Nathaniel laughed lightly, before walking back to the little chair with more confidence this time around. "Yep, got a sudden growth spurt." he said jokingly as he sat down. Lookin down at the shoes and holding one I his legs out, he directed his smile to Tomoko. "I like them. They're not hard to walk in at all!"

Madoka laughed. "Well, they're suiting," he said, a playful smile on his face. "So when will you let me take you out?" he asked, his smile suddenly fading into a romantic one.
Tomoko sighed and rolled her eyes at Madoka. Shifting her attention to Nathaniel, she smiled. "I'm glad," she said. "And they fit okay? If they do, then we're done here."

Nathaniel nodded as he took them off. "They fit just fine." he answered. Setting them down, he pulled on his original shoes and stood again. Looking up at Madoka, he blushed. "Well, I kinda want to go out really, really soon..." he said, a little shyly, picking up tohe shooes and holding them both with one hand at his side.
