From makeup to hair brushes, nail polish to sweet-scented moisturizing lotion, the Honohi Beauty Supply is a girl's paradise. For obvious reasons, the store doesn't get many visitors from Takaba Academy, but it gets plenty of other business from local residents.

Madoka entered the beauty supply, following Tomoko and Nathaniel, and looked around in amazement. "Wow," he said. "I don't think I've ever seen so much makeup in one place before..." He continued to let his eyes wander around the store, his grip on Nathaniel's hand loosening a little in his wonder.
Tomoko smiled and looked around once they were in the beauty supply. She could just picture how beautiful Nathaniel would look when she was through with him. She dashed over to a certain brand of makeup, namely her favourite, and beckoned Nathaniel and Madoka over to follow her. She began looking through foundations in many different skin tones.

  Nathaniel nodded his head in agreement with Madoka, and began to follow Tomoko, gently pulling the other along. He usually sneaked off when he was dragged to the mall with his sisters and mother, and went off to the book store, so he had never really frequented beauty supply stores.
Standing next to the girl, Nathaniel poked around himself curiously. He wasn't sure what everything did, and there were many, many different things to look at.
((such a busy, busy day.... -_-))

Madoka followed Tomoko around as the young lady looked around at the different kinds of... whatever it was. Frankly, Madoka hadn't a clue as so what most of this stuff was. What she looked at now was compacts of skin-coloured something-or-other. I'm sure I would know more about this sort of thing if I taught co-ed classes, he thought with a chuckle. He probably would've confisgating tons of this stuff. But no, the closest he'd ever gotten to confisgating makeup was some shimmering lip gloss he'd taken from a young man in his fourth period several years ago. The student had horrifiedly claimed it to be lip balm.
Tomoko sifted through different tones of foundations, peering back at Nathaniel every so often. "You're pretty white..." she mumbled, "but you're not too rosy." She looked at tone after tone until she finally found one and picked it up as if it were a desperately fragile wine glass. "This should fit your skin tone perfectly, Na-chan!" she said happily, showing him the compact.

Nathaniel would raise an eyebrow each time Tomoko studied him, what was so important about his skin tone? When she finally found what she was looking for, he tilted his head slightly. "What's it for?" he asked curiously, he had a vague inkling on what it was, he'd seen his sisters doll themselves up on numerous occasions. Though he never wanted to ask what exactly they were putting on their faces...

Madoka was curious as well, as to what the compact contained. The colour seemed a little darker than Nathaniel's, but he guessed Tomoko knew what she was doing.
Tomoko giggled. "It's foundation!" she said in a 'duh' sort of way. "It'll even out your skintone." She handed it to Nathaniel. "You get one as close to your skin tone as you can find, maybe a little darker, and it'll make your skin really nice-looking." She smiled and turned around, beginning to look at blushes. "Do you think you'll need blush?" She prayed if he knew anything, that he knew what blush was; or could figure it out.

Nathaniel opens the little compact and looked at what was goin to be put onto his face, and shrugged. He blinked though, at the next question. "Well.... My cheeks tend to be red fifty percent of the time... So I don't think I really need it." he said, his voice serious. It was true though.

Madoka laughed when Nathaniel stated that his cheeks were red most of the time. "I second that," he said amusedly. "He's red most of the time he's around me."
Tomoko giggled, and shifted her vision to further down the aisle, where she quickly made her way, and she came into contact with what she was looking for. She picked up several sticks of eyeliner at once and looked over each one carefully. She hummed an indeterminable tune as she examined each.

As if to prove Madoka's statement true, Nathaniel's cheeks turned a pale red and pouted. Nudging him gently with his elbow, he looked up at him indignantly. "No teasing." the student said. He knew that his boyfriend wasn't really meaning to tease, though, and was just playing himself.

Madoka laughed and just nodded at Nathaniel. "See?" he said to Tomoko. "Sorry, Nat." He chuckled and ducked down to kiss Nathaniel's nose sweetly. "Forgive me?"
Tomoko rolled her eyes. "Apparently, blush isn't neccessary, then," she said with a smile, taking a stick of eyeliner out of a case and looking at it for a moment. "Hmm, an ashy colour may look nice," she mumbled to herself, as she picked up another stick and began to compare the two.

Nathaniel laughed slightly himself, and he leaned his head up to give a small kiss in return, his landing on Madoka's chin. "You're forgiven." he said, smiling sweetly. Now turning his attention elsewhere, he looked at all the different kinds of eyeliner. Picking up an almost disgustingly bright orange one, he made a face. "My third youngest sister, Madeline, likes to use colors like these..." he mumbled, before setting it back down.

Madoka peered at the colour of eyeliner Nathaniel was holding in disgust. "Orange?" he questioned. "Who would wear that?" He blinked a couple of times and shook his head, having to remind himself what century he lived in.
Tomoko looked at the shade of eyeliner and laughed at Nathaniel. "I have a purple one and a green one," she said with a giggle. "Along with the basic colours." She showed Nathaniel the stick of eyeliner and questioned him. "You'll need eyeliner, and an ashy colour should suit you well," she said.
((o: I'd wear orange... I haven't seen that one though. xD I only have black and sparkly turquoise.))

Nathaniel giggled at Madoka before nodding. "I like the sound of the ashy color, and I'm sure the purple and greek look very nice on you Tomoko." he said, "It's just Madeline just started wearing make-up, and she uses waaaaay too much...." the student continued, shaking his head slightly.
((Hee! Orange would clash with my eyes... the only eyeliner I have is black.))

Madoka shook his head. "Well, I don't think any color but black looks natural..." he said with a small chuckle.
Tomoko made a face. "Eww," she said. "Eyeliner is not for beginners in the makeup department." She sighed. "Then again, I don't know what it's like in America." She handed Nathaniel the stick of eyeliner and walked further down the aisle until it turned and led down the next aisle, where there were several different brands of eyeshadow and mascara.

Nathaniel shrugged as he followed along, gently pulling Madoka with him. "I guess it depends on what style you have. Some people don't even wear make-up, like one of my other sisters, Kaitlyn. I dunno what Madeline is aiming for though... Maybe scene?" he said, looking down at the things he held in his free hand.
