Well, I can understand why, but right now we have a pretty incompetent light person. Then again, she lost her assistant and no one is projecting. She messed up our lights pretty badly tonight...

Me and my best friend nicknamed her Earl (insider joke). I'm part of several changes and nearly kill myself on stage while she sits in the greenroom playing with a dog and her cell phone. She is only there during rehearsals to HAND OUT spike tape. She has no cues. SHE GETS AS MUCH CREDIT AS ME!!!ARGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

SirLewis Me and my best friend nicknamed her Earl (insider joke). I'm part of several changes and nearly kill myself on stage while she sits in the greenroom playing with a dog and her cell phone. She is only there during rehearsals to HAND OUT spike tape. She has no cues. SHE GETS AS MUCH CREDIT AS ME!!!ARGGGGHHHHHHH!!! Do you think maybe we should tell her to stop pretending to be a techie and just drop the class?

I'm somewhat of an imcompetent techie, but I work my a** off and try my best. Maybe get her a really simple, boring, tedious task to do the whole time. Then she's doign something and you don't ahve to deal with her. And if she doesn't finish, get a whole bunch of people saying "That was so important! I can't believe you didn't finish!"....I'm evil right now. I wouldn't listen to me....

Remember Earl or Amber or whatever you care to call her? Well, turns out she has been stealing money and other stuff from peoples bags in the green room. The amazing thing is, she stole several hundred dollars, SEVERAL hundred dollars, and the only punishment she got was three day suspention. Now that I can easily accept because she did not steal from me but... turns out she doesn't only steal with in the department but out side of it also. I was walking with a girl I like (Lisa) and shen something led to another. Later Lisa told me that she Earl; had stolen her wallet.... .... scream

incompetent techies? lets see, a kid named lorenzo who left us hanging the day we opened, and cheerleaders as run crew. both situations are a nightmare. escpecially as lorenzo left us hanging during Christmas Carrol, which has some scene changes that are bizarly complex.

we had a girl who thought she was supposed to cut through boards with SCREWS in them with a CHOP SAW.
she ruined our blade, and we had to wait a few weeks to get a new one (and the show was a week after we finially got it.)
and there's this girl who always plays with the light board, and leaves little programming messes here and there for me to clean up and delete.
i think she's the worst. she almost deleted my entire show (over 400 cues) that was programmed.

here's another pair of incompetent techies. kid was supposed to help us out on a show. he refuses to remove his headphones, and he dives under a rolling door while it's closing. the door had maybe a foot till it his the floor. another techie(bob) is fooling around with a pneumatic staple gun. bob decides it's a good idea to place said loaded staple gun to another kid's(joe) neck. bob is kicked out permanently from the theatre. joe is extremely lucky dramallama burning_eyes
