Motion to Expel National Socialists on the Grounds of Opposition to the Workers and Detriment to the Proleteriat Revolution
Motion #: N14-88
This motion is to Expel National Socialists on the grounds of opposing the workers' revolutionary movement and of being a threat to the safety and enjoyment of others.
This is put forward due to the actions taken by National Socialists and White Supremacists (who identify as Nazis) in RL, where they have been known to march around the streets looking for Communists, gay, Jews, blacks, etc. to assault. They cannot do such things on the internet of course, but they can still make this not as much of a fun place to be. THis is a guild for Communists and leftists. The Radical Right has no place here.
Also, the fact that Nazis have been allowed into this Communist guild is alarming. Fascism has long been a foe of the Communist movement, and the fact that they have been brought in bodes ill for the guild.
Further arguments will be edited into this motion in future, as developed, and I now leave this motion to my comrades to vote upon and discuss. I thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you have a rebuttal to change parts of this motion, then please discuss. This is a democratic guild after all, and in democracies, motions are changed to please the guild.
AMENDMENT 1: I now feel that a better course of action would be to give the Fascists a chance, and if they start to cause problems and ruin the atmosphere of the guild somehow, that Fascists no longer be allowed in. Until then, they can remain here, should they choose to.
After one week of discussion, I will add a poll to this post for the votes to be tallied. This poll will remain open for three days, from August 1st to August 3rd, before being closed.

I oppose this motion, on the grounds that a fascist isn't going to reach through the internet and strangle you, and you have put forth no convincing argument as to why they are a threat to the guild.

I oppose this motion on the grounds that I have not seen any offending behavior on the part of the national socialists in this guild. Since they joined this guild, they probably have a genuine interest in learning about socialism or communism. There is no harm in friendly debate. Win them over in the battle of ideas!

I oppose this on the grounds that you're boring, commie, and this whole "making announcements with the 'document' post style role-playing type thing" is silly. Doesn't internet debate take time away from my marching around assaulting people, anyway? Think of all the poor, innocent lives you're saving. 8D

It's sort of lucky for you that I'm not here to troll, because if I were, it'd be absurdly easy. Have you ever thought about not flipping out and reacting ridiculously to minuscule things?

I would like to note that the vote should last a standard week - as that's always been the procedure. I would also point out that your amendment effectively nullifies your entire proposal so I don't see any reason to vote at all.

I'm the illegitimate son of god They both think incredibly highly of their home countries. That's what made naziism so dangerous, they were too patriotic and nationalistic. That's what is making America and much of the Middle East so dangerous, a lack of willingness to cooperate due to ideals of country superiority.
