I picked water becuase you can freeze it to make it ice, or boil it to make it extremely hot. It could shoot out of your hands as water, but then turn boiled or ice as it strikes someone in the heart, having them die.
If you're in the desert and dieing of thirst, you can just take some water out of a cactus with your powers and not die. (Sure, the cactus might die, but if it was up to you, would you want to live, even if it meant killing a cactus [or two or more]?)
If the lake/river/ocean/pond/pool was too hot or cold, you could heat it instently to your likings so you can swim in it.
There are many, many more things you can do with the power of water, these are just a few.
Since I basically live in the water, I can sorta control it. That's one reason I picked water. Another reason is all of the things I could do with the power of water. The third reason is becuase a dude I hate picked fire. That reason is super small, though.
48% I sorta can control it already. 50% What I would be able to do with it. 2% The dude I hate picked fire.
