There is always the truth and The Truth. One truth is just what most people know and believe regardless of whether or not it is fact. The other truth is the things that actually happen and/or can happen, and/or well happen as in the facts.
For example: If I was tell you I killed someone and you believed me, then to you it is truth. And if you tell someone that I killed someone and they believed you then it is truth to them. But to me, I know it is not true because I know I have not killed someone. But sometimes the lie can become more powerful than the truth, so even if I was to come back to you later and said I was lying about killing someone and you didn't believe me, than to you the lie is truth and the truth is false. So to the public the truth I killed someone even if it is not fact.
One of the things you should look into on a topic like this is propaganda and other things like it. Because of the way the world is now propaganda has become somewhat common place and unless you learn how to see the difference between propaganda and facts, you could find yourself believing the truth rather than The Truth.

Formally speaking, we can't derive necessary truths from experience or revelation. The best we can hope for is some system of assumptions used to build propositions. This limitation extends even to the common statement "I think therefore I am.".

True, but like I told a friend in a dream once, "No, I think therefor you are." so in the end the fact that you think you are thinking is a lie, if someone else is truly thinking for you. After all in my dream not only was I controlling my friend, who was upset I called him a dream fragment, but I was also controlling all the people in the bar and the bar itself. Because my mind can split focus and think of a number of different and/or opposing thoughts at once it is not hard for me to fight against myself. With my opposing side taking on the form of my friend at that moment who tends to opposes me in a lot of topics to start with. So how do you know if you are the one truly thinking or could it be a dreamer making you think you have thoughts of your own?
p.s. I like topics like this because you can learn a lot about a person going by how they respond or even lack of responding.

Truth is not relative. Truth is the truth, period. It doesn't matter what any particular individual thinks, as a person's thoughts will not affect truth. Truth is, after all, light, and "light is Spirit, even the Spirit of Jesus Christ" (Doctrine & Covenants 84:45), and Jesus Christ is God, and God is eternally constant. Thus, truth is constant. Indeed, "truth abideth forever and ever. Amen" (D&C 1:39).

Truth, in itself is a constant. Facts will always remain facts. It is the interpretation of truth where the devil lies, so to say. When truth is interpreted, it is always bent by morals, views and etc.
It is why real truth is hard to find.
