• [Thread Titles]: Give members a heads up on what the topic is mainly about before they click into it. Make your title (a.k.a. thread subject) relevant to your discussion topics.
• [Old Threads]: If the thread has fallen past the first page of the forum, do not post in it. If it's a topic you want to discuss, you can create a new thread of the same topic. If it's a response to a particular point in the previous thread, you may link to the thread. Anyone who posts in an old thread will cause it to be locked and moved to the Recycle Bin. The only exception to this rule is if it's your thread you're wanting to post in. In that case, you may bring it back up.
• [Page Stretching]: Stretching the page can be very annoying to some people. To avoid any ill-minded people becoming bothered, it's just not going to be allowed. Any picture posted that stretches the page will have its
[Repeat Discussion Topics]: If you've thought of a topic to create a new thread on, please check the first page of the main forum to see if someone else has already created the topic. If they have, and you post your thread, it will be locked. After a thread falls off the first page, you may create another thread of that same topic of your own.• [Spam]: "Bumping" in any threads in the main forum is against the rules. We don't want old topics with no active discussion hanging around. Meaningless or random single-emote posts also qualify as spam, since they don't add anything to the discussion. Basically, if what you post doesn't contribute to the conversation, it'll be considered spam. Also, don't quote another person without saying anything in your post so you can use their words. We want to know what you think here. If it's the same as someone else, that's great. Just put it in your own words.
• [Advertising]: If you're going to advertise in your thread, let it just be an add-on to an actual conversation topic that's started with your thread. Other forms are fine as well, such as informing people of things in your topic, or tiny advertisements at the end of each of your posts, but only as long as you don't go overboard with it. Do not spam advertisements though. You can keep that in the spam subforum.
• [Main Topic Changing Threads]: Do not create a thread simply for the purpose of having it's main topic changed every other minute.
Any and all members found breaking any of the rules above will be either warned or banned, depending on the severity of the breaking.
