This is the location where sound ninja can train to be the best ninja they can be. Once in a rare occasion, the Arena will be closed off to the public for Tournaments and Exams. ((All Events will be posted at least a week prior to the event))

Stepping into the arena, Joey wasted no time as he decided to learn everything...now...
Issei no Jutsu (Shout Technique) By focusing chakra into the vocal chords, the user may amplify his or her voice. This may serve many purposes, such as suddenly giving off a loud cry to startle or distract enemies. It also might be useful to give off your location to allies, although any enemies in the area may overhear as well.
Hibiki no Jutsu (Noise Technique) This jutsu sends a small sound wave off in any direction, for about 20 feet. Upon reaching its destination, it dissipates, giving a small noise similar to crunching leaves or snapping twigs. It can be quite useful to distract the enemy for a decisive moment, or to lure him away from a certain area.
Myaku (Pulse) Using a minor amount of chakra to strengthen their lungs, the user can release a ball of compacted air that travels quickly up to 15 feet. When the ball impacts something, it hits with force equal to the user's punch. This jutsu is used to teach the basics of air manipulation.
Yobiko (Whistle) Unlike Shout, this jutsu actually imbues sound waves with chakra. At this level of skill, the user is only able to affect a very narrow range of frequencies, the frequency of a whistle just happening to fall in that range. The user manipulates the wave, increasing amplitude and frequency slightly, in order to make the whistle unusually loud and piercing. This jutsu is usually used to teach the basics of sound manipulation.
The first scroll contained the basic sound ninjutsu of the Academy Student rank, meaning that they'd probably be the easy to master. Going over the first, it seemed rather simple. Crafting a single seal, he rerouted his chakra to where it charged in his throat, preparing for its job to come. Taking in a large gulp of air, he let out an earsplitting shout that proved quite effective when he saw squirrel fall from a nearby tree. {1/1}
As he saw the squirrel begin to recover, he decided to use the second technique upon the poor, unsuspecting victim. Going through a brief flurry of seals, he released a short burst of his chakra, shooting a light wave in the direction he intended. Winding up just beyond the fallen animal, a slight crackle emerged from behind the creature, startling it into a scuffle that sent it right into the tree it fell from. {1/1}
The next one was a single seal compadre as well, fairly simple in the basic sense. Holding onto the seal, he leaned back, pulsing chakra back into his throat as he had done with the jutsu from earlier, but also sorted some into his lungs. Shooting forward, he opened his mouth, launching a small ball of compressed air into the tree, hitting and leaving a fairly decent dent within the trunk. {1/1}
This jutsu required no seals, making it a fun jutsu to perform, and at that, rather simple as well. Perking his lips, he focused chakra within them and began to blow, focusing chakra into the air coming out, but then realized that he had forgotten how to whistle over the past few years. Only taking a moment of experimentation, he tried the jutsu once more and perfected the wolf whistle to its greatest extent. {1/1}
Kaze Senbon no Jutsu (Wind Needles Technique) This jutsu uses low frequency (below 20 Hz) sound waves to manipulate air particles. It increases the density of the air around the user’s hand into several small air pockets and then fires these pockets at high velocity toward a certain target. The wind is usually formed on top of the user’s finger and shot at will. It can be shot with dozens at the same time, and do not have to move in a straight line. However it is easier to spot than most needles due to the vacuum of air that it creates and lets the opponent see it.
Kinsei Hakai (Balance destroy) This jutsu grants the ability to control sound with chakra and direct it into the opponent’s ears. This causes somewhat of a disturbance in the eardrums. This opponent to lose his or her balance over the period of their next post. However, the jutsu must be done at a fairly close range (no more than 10 feet) since the effects of sound dissipate over distance.
Yubi Kausi No Jutsu (Finger Spike Technique) The user’s fingernails grow ten inches long and become quite sharp. They can then be used as slashing and cutting weapons in close combat. However, the nails are not strong enough to be used to block heavier weapons such as swords.
Onpa no Tenohira (Wave Palm) The user transmits chakra to his palm, causing the surface of the hand to vibrate. He or she then attempts to strike the enemy with the open palm. Should the attack hit, it would cause little to no physical damage, however the vibrations work their way into the enemy’s nerves, causing a great deal of local pain at the spot struck.
Zankuuha (Air Cutter) This technique gives one the basic ability to control his or her Arm Cannons. The user focuses chakra into the barrels implanted in their arms and then releases it with a blast. A high powered gust of wind then explodes from the user’s palms, knocking nearly anything weaker than trees flat that lies in its path.
Kaze no Sen (Wind harpoon) This jutsu is an upgrade of the technique Kaze Senbon. However, instead of shooting out multiple smaller needles, the user fires a large harpoon made of air from his/her palm.
This next jutsu was still on the easier side and for what he could foresee, the rest would be as well. Blazing through the seals, he simply rose his right open palm in the air. All around his hand, sound began to affect the air around it in small packets, visible to the eye. "Not stealthy..." He began as he threw his hand forward, shooting the needles deep into the tree, "but it still carries some effectiveness." {1/1}
A few seals and a pulse of chakra allowed Joey to activate this jutsu, but in order to better advance it, he gave a light click with his cheek. From this small sound, he amplified, multiplied, and just about every other -ied one can think of to form it into a rather maddening form which would easily disturb anybody he directed it at. {1/1}
Going over the next seals, upon finishing, he felt his chakra pour into his fingers, a rather odd sensation building at the tips. Almost immediately, his finger nails shot out to ten inch extensions, making it seem like he had a fairly bad superpower of some kind. Giving slashes at the tree, it would be handy if in a tight spot, but not much else. A good slash ruffled them down to their original length. {1/1}
This was yet another that needed no seals, but simply amplifying natural vibrations that occurred within the hand. Increasing them, they were now stored within his right open palm, naturally moving into the Gentle Fist state, upon contact with another, the vibrations would pour into it, but he had no practice dummy. Looking to his left and right, he placed his hand on his left shoulder and quickly fell to his knees, grasping his shoulder in pain, yet only causing more pain with more contact. "I like this one." {1/1}
Reading over the next jutsu, Joey smirked while his eyes faded over to his palms, noting the small air holes that were built within. He had them installed shortly after arriving at the village as it seemed to be almost a requirement, which he truly didn't mind. Simply applying chakra, it took them a moment to take in the air in the surrounding area before he placed both palms forward, unleashing a powerful blast forward. The squirrel simply happened to be in the path of the gust as it was knocked back into the tree. {1/1}
Reading the final jutsu, he smirked as he flashed through the advanced seals of the same technique he had learned only moments before. Shooting his right hand forward, a spear of air formed just above his arm, following its path as it suddenly shot off, digging incredibly deep into the bark as the needles, but to a much greater extent. {1/1}
Yubi Kasui Teppoudama No Jutsu (Finger Spike Bullet Technique) The normal finger dagger technique must be learned before you are able to learn this upgraded technique. These nails can be used in close combat but can also be fired off in high speed from the user's fingertips. The user may freely choose how many he/she wants to shoot and can grow new nails if needed.
Kaze no Yari (Wind Spears) This jutsu combines the principals of Kaze no Hari and Kaze no Sen. In effect, it creates multiple spears of wind that may be fired together or independently. The number of spears created is equal to 1/3 the user’s control and power combined.
Himei no Jutsu (Shriek) The user lets forth a loud scream, enhanced by chakra, usually loud enough to make people cover their ears and make their bodies numb due to high frequency sound waves. This jutsu should not be used overmuch, since it strains the user’s throat quite a bit.
Zankuukyokuha (Ultimate Air Cutter) This jutsu is simply large-scale version of Zankuuha, as the name suggests, which also requires hand seals as well as the implants. The blast can wreak havoc upon anything it touches, although it is also risky to use, as it opens up the user to attack, since it requires both hands to focus all the air pressure. Capable of destroying small boulders and clearing strips of land, its speed is constant with the user's abilities, making it difficult for those of equal rank to dodge it.
Using the first jutsu, it was yet again an advancement of a previous jutsu. Going through them with a sense of deja vu, Joey's nails grew yet again, yet lunging his hands forward allowed them to shoot off as though they were needles. {1/1}
This one seemed to mesh two of the Genin techniques he had developed just earlier as he finished the jutsu and yet again placed his right arm forward. Just like before, a spear of air formed over his arm, but this time, another formed to the bottom right, then another, and another, until there was a large number. Firing all of them, they easily pierced the tree and took out the base, forcing the squirrel out once more. {1/1}
No hand signs was always a good sign (<- word play...if anybody even reads this...) when it came to any kind of technique. Charging chakra into their mouths, this time, Joey avoided placing it into his throat and lungs as he let out a shout. The chakra was meant to manipulate the sound itself and did so admirably as a powerful scream was heard, but ended moments later as the rebounding of the sound waves began to affect his own. {1/1}
The final jutsu at this section of the list, it required his air cannons such as before, but this time needed hand seals. Flashing through them, he shot both arms forward, building up great pressure within as he aimed for the downed tree once more. Unleashing a powerful blast from each hand to launching the tree out of its place holding with the small amount of bark still intact, and into the wall. {1/1}
Jounin
Kaze no Ransu (Wind Lance) In this new incarnation of the Kaze no Sen, the user creates a single, long air bolt of extreme density and power. It then is launched at high velocity toward a target. As it approaches the target, the user may choose to have the lance separate into several hundred needles much like those described in Kaze no Hari.
Jigoku Himei no Jutsu (Hell Shriek) An improved version of the himei no jutsu. The voice of the shriek is twice as high, enough to make enemies go deaf and destroy glass. It sounds so horrible as if it comes from hell itself, making enemies cower with fear and terror.
Nihyakuwari Zankuuha (200% Air Cutter) Concentrating an incredible amount of chakra into the arm cannons, the user expels an extreme blast of wind with power equal to a category five hurricane (155+ mph). This incredible destructive force is more than capable of leveling nearly any obstacle. A person that is directly hit by this technique will be seriously injured, so much so that he or she will be unable to participate further in the battle unless they are treated by a medical nin of basic jounin level or higher. In order to build up enough power, the user must charge chakra into his arms for one post prior to releasing the attack, during which, he or she may move, but cannot use chakra for any other purpose.
Kyoushin no Onpa (Resonance Wave) In this jutsu, the user works to achieve resonance behind the eardrum, severely damaging the inner ear. This causes such imbalance in the victim that he or she will be unable to stand until treated by a medical nin of basic jounin level or higher (or until the thread ends). This jutsu does not cause any other side effects, save for the considerable amount of pain caused by the rupturing of the inner ear.
Jishinha (Seismic Wave) This jutsu sends sound into the ground and causes a seismic wave that is similar to a earthquake in the surrounding area (about a 30 foot radius). Usually done to off-balance the opponent for an easy kill. Very deadly when combined with Kinsei Hakai, as it gives double the imbalance. However, the user must put at least one hand onto the ground. The jutsu will end, should the hand(s) be removed from the ground.
Kyuuon no Jutsu (Sound Absorption Technique) Description: Using the air cannon to draw environmental sound into the glove, the user can make his entire area lacking of any sound at all. Voices will not be heard. The sounds of explosions will vanish. There will be complete silence for a short amount of time, usually just enough to kill in silence... Rules: Genin can use this in a radius of 15 feet for a time of two posts. Chuunin can use this in a radius of 25 feet for a time of three posts. Jounin can use this in a radius of 50 feet for a time of five posts.
This one was yet another installment of the now somewhat annoying jutsu as he went the seals with a breeze and shot his right arm forward, forming a single, heavily dense packet of wind into a bolt within an instant, rocketing it toward the wall currently housing the tree. Just before impact, he crushed his hand while the bolt exploded into countless needles of air that coated the entire wall to Joey's enjoyment. {1/1}
Going through hand seals which began to seem redundant to him as they took up no real time, he simply liked to complain. Shrieking once more, he unleashed a painfully loud shriek, stopping the squirrel dead in his tracks and he could have sworn he heard a window shatter. {1/1}
Throwing both of his hands upward, looking as though he were to grasp the sky, Joey let out a scream as he sucked in a large capacity of air that was even visible while chakra surged into his arms. "AAAAAHHHHH!" Was what escaped his lips as he shoved his hands downward and almost immediately, a crater formed beneath his feet as he breathed out between his deep inhales, "That...was...so...awesome..." {1/1}
These hand seals were the first to provide Joey with a somewhat eager attitude as he was hurried to finish them. Upon finishing, he unleashed a sudden sound wave he did not prepare for as he looked over at the squirrel fall over, unable to get up as it simply looked around in confusion. {1/1}
The next jutsu required signs of an equal length and he complied without hesitation, simply eager to get them done now. Upon finishing, he sent a sudden pulse through his hand as it made contact with the ground and the earth all around him shook with anger, as though something were attempting to escape from below, but he was safe from its rampage. It shortly died down, but left an obvious mark of its aftermath. {1/1}
Spraying out his air cannons, he simply began to suck in what most would think was air, but it was actually something to hold the sound. Upon finishing, he attempted to shout, but to no avail and even clapped. Nothing could be heard as he threw an explosive tag. He forgot to check the time its effects lasted as he heard a bird chime in just before the explosion, but luckily be was a safe distance away, still loud though. {1/1}
Kaze no Hitoame (Rain of Wind) The user once again compresses air using sound waves, only in this case, several Kaze no Ransu are created. The usual form of this jutsu involves the creation of these Ransu above the target's head and bringing them down on top of him. This form of attack is incredibly destructive to whatever it hits, and also gave the jutsu its name. In spite of this, the user may create and aim the Ransu anywhere, however they must all travel in the same direction.
Kuuatsu Bunshin (Air Pressure Clone) A powerful bunshin formed from Zankuuha Arm Cannons. Its strength though is directly proportional to the highest powered Zankuuha they are able to create. Having no Zankuuha techniques means the clone is at 10% the physical stats of the user. Zankuuha gives 25%, Zankuukyokuha gives 50%, Nihyakuwari Zankuuha gives 75%, and Boufuu Kyuutai gives 100%. They are like ordinary fighting clones, (no chakra) but when defeated they explode with the force of that Zankuuha. Only one clone may be created at a time.
Kekkai (Rupture) The user pours chakra into their vocal cords and screams, using more chakra to manipulate the sound to only travel in a cone forward. The intense fluctuations in pressure caused by the hyper-amplified sound will cause microscopic weaknesses in the skin of any enemy caught in the blast to shear apart, creating thousands of tiny surface wounds. Internal tissues are affected as well at ranges less than 20 feet, creating numerous internal wounds that can take weeks to heal without a shinobi medic's intervention.
Boufuu Kyuutai (Storm Sphere) An ultimate defense. Instead of shooting air pressure out from palms like the Zankuhaa technique, the user instead sends out air pressure from all over their bodies into all directions. Any nearby enemies and incoming projectiles gets blown away. Can also neutralize certain techniques such as fire elements. Requires very good chakra control. Since it requires so much chakra, it can only be used twice in battle.
Sakuhen (Splinter) Focusing their chakra in much the same manner as Kekkai, the user takes great care to produce nothing but a single frequency of sound that resonates perfectly within the calcium formations that make up a human skeleton. At this precise frequency of vibration, the marrow within the skeleton begins to expand and contract, putting extreme pressure on the bones. If exposed to this sound for a fraction of a second, a target will simply have their skeleton weakened such that it can barely support their own weight. Further exposure (on the order of 1 second total) will cause the target's skeleton to splinter apart within their body. In most circumstances, this will cripple a target, but in extreme cases, bone fragments have been known to enter the heart or brain, killing a target outright.
Going through the seals, this seemed to be the final installment of the ever evolving jutsu, constantly growing stronger and more complex with every go. Finishing the seals, his eyes fell upon a single tree on the ground as a sudden cloud of needles form from high above and barrel the area relentlessly. When the dust cleared, it seemed as though a natural disaster had just gone through, much to his liking. {1/1}
A few seals were required as he was happy to have an actual physical bunshin under his belt. Placing his right arm to his side, air poured out smoothly from the cannon in his arm and a second Joey appeared. Testing him for perfection, he gave him a high five, but also triggered its destruction as he was thrown into the wall. "I knew that was gonna happen," he recovered to the faceless crowd. {1/1}
The hand signs for this one may have been lengthy compared to others, but it was worth it when he reared back his head, taking in a big gulp of air. Spinning around to the wall at his back, he let out a universe-shredding scream that seemed to tear through the wall and beyond. When he was finished, he examined to see the once smooth wall now rough, ensuring the damage was done. {1/1}
This one required no seals since it was made to be used almost immediately as he focused, taking in much air through his air cannons. Not a moment seemed to pass what appeared an eternity to Joey as an explosion suddenly erupted around him, creating a second crater in the area as well as taking out part of the wall, while to him it seemed like nothing happened. {1/1}
Trying out this one, he felt bad for the motionless squirrel, knowing that he couldn't aid it and would not have it be tortured through the cruel world of animals. Performing all the correct formations with his hands, eyes set on the small animal, when he finished, he began to emanate a bone-breaking (literally) sound that seemed to bring a shock to the rodent's face before eternal peace. A tear seemed to be shed from his cheek as he moved on to a new scroll. {1/1}
Zankyou (Echo) With slight chakra manipulation, the user is able to cause his or her voice (or other nearby sounds) to bounce off solid surfaces. This can be put to use to mask the user’s exact location, or to confuse an opponent. However, such a simple trick is likely not to work on someone of significantly higher intelligence.
Fusenmei (Blur) The user, by releasing chakra around himself, is able to slightly blur his own form. This can have several effects. If the user is wearing clothing of the proper color, he may hide himself effectively against a certain background. Secondly, this may make the user slightly more difficult to hit, especially when he or she moves. This jutsu may be held up as long as the user has the chakra to do so, but genin may not use any other jutsu while this is active.
Shizumaru (Quiet) By releasing a small amount of chakra in the area about himself, the user is able to slightly dampen any sounds given off in that area. This jutsu is highly effective for sneaking up on an unaware enemy. However, this jutsu does far from block out all sound. If an enemy is alert, he will most likely still hear the user’s movement.
Otokakimazeru (Sound Scramble) This is a rather interesting jutsu that can potentially wreak havoc with an unprepared enemy. Much like as in Quiet, the user releases chakra all about himself, but instead he allows it to become erratic. The effect is that all sounds in the area of effect (about a 20 foot radius) have their volume randomized. There is a limit to this, however. Sounds will not rise above 120 decibels, (not enough to cause physical pain) nor fall below 30 (the volume of breathing).
Fukuwajutsu (Ventriloquism) This technique allows the user to transmit sound to a specific location. Through proper use of this jutsu, one would be able to cause changes in their own voice tone, or allow a message to travel a distance without distortion of the weakening of sound. For example, the user of his jutsu would be able to send a message to a hidden teammate’s ear, or similarly confuse an opponent by relaying an order to him in the voice of his team’s commander.
Jigoku no Mimi (Hell’s Ears) By concentrating chakra into the ears, the user is able to detect exact details of movement by the means of sound. This requires extreme concentration, therefore and all users must close their eyes in order for this jutsu to be properly performed. (including Jounin).
Onchou: Boutou (Harmony: Boom) This jutsu gathers chakra in the vocal cords, and subsequently releases it in a ball of sound. The ball is roughly the size of a baseball, and consequently is also as devastating. However, the ball loses cohesion over distance, and subsequently loses the ability to do harm to a target after twenty feet of travel.
Fukyouwaon: Unari (Dissonance: Howl) This jutsu concentrates on pushing out as much air as possible from the vocal cords of the user, therefore creating a blast of sound. The sound then spreads out from the mouth of the user in the shape of a cone of roughly 10 feet in length. The jutsu may target the upper or lower body of the foe. If it strikes the upper body, it knocks the wind from the victim, forcing him or her to double over as they attempt to regain their composure. Should it strike the lower body, the victim’s legs are swept out from under him, sending him to the ground.
Fukyouwaon: Wamekigoe (Dissonance: Yell) Wamekigoe is much higher pitched then Unari, and is also sung in a minor key to give it a sense of discord. All beings within 10 feet of the user are affected by the force of this attack, whether it is friend or foe. The scream that is emitted is just below the human threshold for sound tolerance, and extreme discomfort is felt by all those who fall within the radius of affect. Those who hear this scream often cringe as they are stunned by the magnitude of the sound, and more often than not seek to find a way to block the noise from their ears.
Onsei: Tenshi (Voice: Angel) Tenshi focuses on using the voice to cause vibrations. The user creates a vibration that is sustained by holding out a long, tremulous note. The voice that comes forth is heavenly, and therefore soothes all that hear it. However, the sound of this jutsu must be directed towards one person, for if it is let out in too wide an area, the power will weaken and it will not have its full effect. The soothing affect of this jutsu lowers the reaction time of the person who hears it, sending them into a mentally relaxed state not dissimilar to being drunk for the duration of one post.
Onchou: Yasurau (Harmony: Relaxation) This jutsu takes some of the traits from Tenshi and amplifies them with Onchou’s strength of voice. This is a song that is directed to one person instead of many because unless the song is focused, it will not be performed to its proper effect. What this does is soothe the enemy with such a pleasing song that it lulls them to sleep. Closing your ears help dampen the sound but waking the person hit up involves something a little drastic unless the enemy is of higher rank. To wake up genin, closing their nose off so they don’t breathe can work, while chuunin (If the user is a genin) can just get a good punch in the face. Jounin are unaffected unless the user is a Jounin.
Onsei: Atsureki (Voice: Discord) This is one of the more popular choices for genin who follow this path. Combing the aura of majesty from Onsei: Tenshi with the ear ripping pain from Hebi-Metaru: Unari, Onsei: Atsureki is a potent deterrent against enemies. This releases an odd squeal of sorts. However, the sound that comes forth is simply horrifying to the human ear. As a result of the hearing of this terrifying sound, one is stricken with a sudden fear so powerful they are rendered utterly motionless for as long as they hear the sound. Chuunin are able to resist this with some difficulty unless the user is a Jounin, while jounin remain unaffected.
Fukyouwaon: Kujiku (Dissonance: Crush) Requirements: Fukyouwaon: Wamekigoe Chakra control has moved a great deal since the genin levels. Now the user is able to control to a rather decent amount where the sound is traveling too. With this new power comes bold and painful new jutsu at their disposal. This sound is low pitched, and is controlled with chakra by the user. The sound waves target the abdomen of the opponent in an effort to bring about a sudden compression on the stomach of the foe. While the damage of this attack is only external, even the strongest of men will be brought to their knees by the sudden impact of this technique.
Gokan no Sen’you (Five Senses Enhancement) Requirements: Kaku no Sen’you This jutsu simply gives one the ability to perform all the feats listed in Kaku no Sen’you, although the user is free to pick and choose which abilities he or she wishes to employ.
Fukyouwaon: Doukoku (Dissonance: Wailing) Requirements: Fukyouwaon: Kujiku This jutsu creates a blast of sound that is enforced with enough chakra to bring about the minor cutting of flesh. The sound waves of this skill spread out to a cone of 18 feet in length and 10 feet in height. Obviously, the closer one is to the vortex of the sound, the more severe the rending of the flesh.
Onchou: Oshi (Harmony: Push) Requirement: Onchou: Aijou This jutsu expels a large blast of sound to push back everyone within the maximum range of the blast. It flows forth from the mouth of the user, and hits all within ten feet of the user. The force sung out is enough to break boulders into pebbles. However, this is all external damage, and a living being struck by this attack would simply feel as if he had been hit by a heavy blunt object over the entirety of his body.
Onsei: Yure (Voice: Vibration) Requirements: Onsei: Atsureki This jutsu sends forth a force of sound from of the mouth of the user, and then directs the course of the sound towards the abdomen of the foe. Upon impact, it causes all of the internal organs to vibrate. Obviously, this brings about great pain, and those afflicted are often brought to their knees as agony overcomes their body. The sound travels in a straight line, and its path cannot be altered. Jounin have the innate sense to dodge against this attack more easily then chuunin.
Onchou: Chikara (Harmony: Force) Requirements: Onchou: Oshi This jutsu sends force a ball of sound energy roughly three feet in diameter at the foe. The affects of getting hit with this attack are two fold. The first, and most obvious, is the external damage of the attack, which is quite devastating to say the least. The impact of this attack is tremendous, and is the equivalent of a powerful blunt force striking the entirety of the body of the target. Furthermore, this attack resonates throughout the body, causing jolting in the body’s muscles. As a result of this, a victim struck by this jutsu is incapacitated for one post.
Onsei: Tanoshimi (Voice: Pleasure) Requirments: Onsei: Tenshi This jutsu creates a certain frequency and pitch of sound that is concentrated on a single target. This sound of this technique goes directly into the pleasure center of the brain, and then activates it through the vibration of the voice. This quickly debilitates the ninja, forcing him into blissful thoughts. This cannot be Kai’ed due to the fact it is not a genjutsu, but harming the afflicted ninja will cancel its affects. This technique lasts for two posts.
Seion Kado (Vocal Immoderation) Requirments: Fukuwajutsu This diabolical technique targets the victim's ability to control his own voice. This technique renders the target unable to control the volume of his own voice, and in turn forces them to loudly shout all things they say. Also, as the victim speaks, his voice will continue to grow louder and louder, eventually placing great strain on the vocal cords of the afflicted. Due to this, the victim usually chooses to silence himself rather than continue speaking, as the pain from the stretching of the cords can be quite excruciating. This is likely a wise choice, as continual speech while under the power of this jutsu can cause the victim's vocal cords to snap. This technique lasts for 8 posts.
Onsei: Shuukyouku (Voice: Finale) Requirments: Onsei: Tenshi This jutsu releases a certain sound that travel to one person. When the person is hit with the sound he or she is suddenly rendered immobile, as the sounds first target the nervous system of the body. Then, the technique proceeds to send forth a sound akin to a spear of sound through the temple. However, this does not cause any permanent damage. Other wise the shock to the brain throws off all of the synapses, thus confusing the body in how it can move. This jutsu lasts for three posts unless a jounin medical nin cures the victim.
Onsei: Musubi (Voice: Ending) Requirements: Onsei: Shuukyouku, Description: This jutsu sends forth a wave of sound designed to stimulate the brain of the target. When afflicted by the waves of sound, the brain of the user is prompted to generate blissful images, tricking the target into believing the battle is over, and a happy ending has come. Due to this, all attempts at battle by the target will cease. However, this jutsu may be broken by any physical contact by either friend or foe, or until the duration of three posts has passed.
Holding a single seal, Joey simply made a bark and listened to it echo from all corners of the arena. {1/1}
Going through a few seals, his form became a blur even to his own, making him seem perfect for some kind of music video, but it still had its many tactical uses as well. {1/1}
Performing another basic technique, he began to try and sneak through a variety of technique, each with noticeably less sound than what it would have normally been {1/1}
Trying the next one, he continued to sneak until he heard an ant click scaring him half to death, while only hearing his scream at a whisper. Having enough of the trippy little trick, he quit the jutsu and moved on. {1/1}
Attempting this one, he truly wish he had a puppet as he wrapped up the seals and simply began to speak. He made the voice of a rather seductive sounding female emit from behind a tree, even making him want to go and inspect. {1/1}
Closing his eyes, Joey crafted a single seal and simply focused. Chakra buzzing through his ears, he listened carefully as out of no where, his right hand shot up and grasped something from the air. Opening his hand slowly to see his prize, he realized he caught a tissue covered in some kind of green ooze. Dropping it, he figured it best not to ask questions. {1/1}
Making a trio of seals, he unleashed an attack similar to one of the first techniques he had learned in this little spur, but smaller and seemingly weaker as it ended up in the wall with what appeared to be minimal effect. "Man..." {1/1}
Charging chakra into his vocal chords, he performed the seals instructed on the parchment and unleashed a kind of belch-like sound that shot into the wall, not too damaging which meant fun to use against friendlies. {1/1}
A similar technique with a single hand seal's difference, he made another cone, and even from a distance could tell the discomfort that fell upon empty ears, but it still brought a smile to his proud face. {1/1}
Trying out the next jutsu, he began to hold a single note, somewhat off-key, but holding a sign, it began to reach a rather heavenly pitch, tone, shape, everything, making it rather appealing as he cast it upon himself. Putting himself in a state of rather odd proportions where everything seemed to delay. {1/1}
This one seemed to be fun as he made a small set of seals and began to sing a song that seemed to only live in his ancestry. Watching, he saw a bird and focused on that single target. Within seconds, its flapping slowed until it began to dive bomb, but he gave a small spurt with his air cannons to both awaken and correct its course. {1/1}
While this next jutsu was similar, he performed it with ease, but was saddened to hear that he had to maintain the jutsu in order to keep one occupied with the whole motionless part, he needed something to counter that. {1/1}
Trying this one on for size, he simply spoke the word "bang" and a good sized section of the wall sunk in that he happened to be directing at, rather impressed by the effects. {1/1}
Letting out a wail, it did nothing, since he had not activated a jutsu, but did get him some awkward animal looks. Trying again, yet this time, flashing through a few hand signs in preparation, he noticed the grass at his feet and the leaves on nearby trees seem to be sliced with ease, giving him a few ideas. {1/1}
Yet another quick release jutsu, he simply focused the chakra in his mouth while tucking his head down. Looking around, he saw some rocks he would eye for the effects as he shot his head back, opening his mouth and unleashing an indescribable sound that made an even deeper crater where he stood. {1/1}
A few seals required, he shot open his mouth once more towards his own gut as upon impact, he fell to his knees. The best way to become familiar with a jutsu is to be attacked by it, but this one hurt like hell. {1/1}
Reading over, he tried this one without hesitation, flashing through the seals like they were nothing. Concentrating a sphere within his hands he shot it forward and watched it sink into the wall opposite him, glad to hear the vibrations thanks to his acute ears. {1/1}
Trying this one, the seals were somewhat lengthy, and upon ending, he began to sing to himself, feeling as though he had found some source of eternal bliss. Even though he knew what it was, he couldn't help but fall for its effects himself. {1/1}
This jutsu seemed rather diabolic as Joey finished the hand signs and focused them simply on the wall, although he had performed enough of the related jutsu to know how to put it into play, giving it a great effectiveness he wanted to hold back on using. {1/1}
Studying the next one, he gave a quick jump of glee, glad to see the jutsu he was searching for finally show up. Trying it out, he gave the command, "Freeze..." onto an unsuspecting praying mantis a few meters to his right as it fell over. In due time, it rose, shaking, and made erratic movements, confused on how to get their body working once more. {1/1}
Trying this one out, the signs seemed rather labor some, but worth it when he suddenly felt no need to fight anymore. Fighting seemed so worthless to him now and that is was not needed, good thing he didn't plan on it beforehand. {1/1}

Shihouhapou (All Directions) This jutsu distorts the hearing of the opponent, causing the sounds of the user to appear to be coming from every direction. Commonly used to confuse the target concerning his foe’s location, or used to intimidate the one’s adversary by convincing him that he is surrounded. Base Duration: 2 posts
Okuyuki Katawa (Depth Distortion) This jutsu adversely affects the depth perception of a target, making them unable to accurately judge the distance between themselves and an object. For example, an opponent under the influence of this technique would have trouble determining the speed of an incoming projectile, or may misjudge a quarry’s position as being further away. Base Duration: 1 post
Kuuden (Static) Description: This jutsu targets the sense of hearing of a foe. While under the affect of this skill, the victim constantly hears the sound of static in his ears, making it difficult for one suffering from this affliction to hear sounds over the annoying noise. Often used to hamper communication between foes, as well as a distraction. Base Duration: 2 posts
Shimaru Shikaku (Closed Sight) This jutsu targets the peripheral vision of the target. While under the affects of this jutsu, the victim's range of vision will be reduced from roughly 160 to 60 degrees; essentially causing them to see only what is directly in front of their eyes. Due to this, the afflicted will find themselves unable to register attacks coming from either flank, and will in turn also find targeting foes for attack more difficult than normal. Kugurinukeru Meikyou (Through the Looking Glass) With a few hand seals the user shatters their opponent's vision. For the next 4 posts the target will see the world as if they were looking through a pane of broken glass. This type of compound vision tends to make it a lot harder to decide exactly where something is by presenting a multitude of images and if nothing else it is extremely annoying but it isn't inherently dangerous. Base Duration: 2 posts
Youma Tacchi: Ghost Touch This simple genjutsu shifts the target's perceptions of the world two feet forwards and two feet to the left. While they are affected they will believe that they just pass right through whatever they try to touch like a ghost trying to make contact with the real world. This jutsu works best if people just ignore the target and any sort of forceful contact will snap the target out of this state. Base Duration: 2 posts
Kenbou no Jutsu (Forgetfulness Technique) This advanced genjutsu affects the portion of the victim's brain that governs memory and recollection. When invoked, this jutsu allows the user to cause the afflicted forget one ninjutsu or genjutsu of the users choice for a certain duration. However, for the user to force the jutsu to be forgotten, he must have seen him perform the skill in the past, either earlier in the current thread, or in a previous encounter. The victim's memory returns to normal following the end of the thread. This jutsu can only be used once per thread. Base Duration: 4 posts
Mokugeki (Pantomime) For the next 3 posts, the target will believe they are trapped in a small, invisible and soundproof box. They will be granted the full abilities of a mime and as such they can trace the walls, bang on the sides, and scream without making a sound and with perfect accuracy. The jutsu is also dispelled if anything enters the box. Base Duration: 3 posts
Atama Kusari No Jutsu (Chained Mind Technique) This technique uses intricate hand movements and subtle chakra waves to render the target hypnotized and incapable of movement. However, if the target cannot see the shinobi's hands, the technique will not take hold. This effect will only last as long as the shinobi continues to perform the technique and the target can see the shinobi's hands. In other words, while performing this jutsu, you are helpless, but so is your target. (Similar to the Shadow Bind technique, but this genjutsu uses far less chakra). Ideally, this technique would be used as part of a team strategy. Base Duration: 3 posts
Mimiuchi no Jutsu (Whisper Technique) Description: The user can create a sound or a word (not a full sentence) and direct it to the target, so only the target can hear it, inside his mind, while thinking the sound comes from right next to him. Base Duration: 1 post
Jouho no Koe (Voice of Compromise) The user focuses a small amount of chakra into his vocal chords as he speaks, allowing it to escape with his voice. This technique does not affect the sound of the user’s voice directly, but rather affects how any listeners hear the message. While using this technique, anything the user says will be perceived by listeners as a positive message. It can have numerous effects, such as endearing the speaker to his audience. The power of this jutsu is quite limited, however. It tends to have very little effect on established enemies, or people in a high state of emotion, although it has been known to calm down agitated people. Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu (Inflict Emotion Technique) This is a fairly high level genjutsu where the shinobi temporarily changes the emotions of the target to his/her liking. The emotions imparted can be anything from ecstasy, despair, overconfidence, grief, etc. One would be advised against using this technique on teammates, however. After the effect has passed, the victim remembers the one who used the technique, and almost always with hostility. Base Duration: 4 posts
Nouzui Momiryouji (Brain Massage) Through sound hypnosis and a form of Himei no jutsu, the user can make the opponent see some form of images and is able to bind him/her in place. Although the opponent is not actually bound, it is usually because the opponent’s body feels numb and is under genjutsu that he feels he is numb. Base Duration: 2 posts
Tokitsukeru no Koe (Voice of Persuasion) This jutsu applies all the effects of Jouho at a heightened level. In addition, the user can now make requests of his listeners and, assuming they are not too unreasonable, they will be favorably considered. However, this technique is still limited in its level of influence. For example, someone using this technique may be able to convince an enemy to retreat, but probably not to surrender. Also, the jutsu remains much less effective against impassioned people, especially if the anger is directed at the user. Base Duration: 4 posts (After user has ceased speaking.)
Kodou Dousa (Beat Motion) By subtly altering the way the target's brain interprets sound a ninja who uses this technique can cause their opponents to twitch or convulse at every sound they hear. Most sound at normal volume levels - footsteps, someone coughing - will cause slight and nearly unnoticeable twitches in the target. Louder sounds like clashing steel or someone shouting will cause a momentary spasm in usually the arm or leg muscles. Extremely loud sounds like an explosion or someone raking their nails down a chalkboard will cause the target to collapse and shudder momentarily. Anything in the upper echelons of human hearing - say 150 decibles - would cause violent and nearly bone breaking convulsions and if anything this loud was maintained for more than two posts the target would surely break their own back. Kin'atsu no Shujouteki (Emotional Suppression) Description: This genjutsu affects the mind of the target, rendering them numb of feeling and void of emotion. This skill is typically used to calm ones own emotional panic, or to play havoc on the minds of a foe's allies. However, this skill has also been known to be used an effective tool against emotionally driven opponents. Base Duration: 3 posts.
Eikyou no Koe (Voice of Influence) By now, the user has gone far beyond the limits of normal persuasive speech. The scope of commands or requests that the user can make has broadened considerably. For example, team members that have not worked together for long could easily be made to fight each other. It takes quite a high amount of resistance on the part of the victim to overcome the effects of the jutsu. The jutsu can last as long as the user remains speaking, however, due to the high level of concentration required, the user cannot effectively keep the jutsu up for more than 3 posts. Base Duration: 5 posts (After user has ceased speaking.)
Sameru (Dampen) A rather unique genjutsu, that focuses the illusion on the user rather than an opponent. This jutsu disrupts the user’s brain signals, causing the nerve endings of the user to become less effective. As a result, the user is able to block out pain much easier. However, this dampening of the nerve endings is a double edged sword, as it can make discerning the amount of damage one has taken very difficult, and also greatly hampers the user’s ability to grip his own weapon. Base Duration: 3 posts
Kokuangyo No Jutsu (Bringer of Darkness Technique) This Genjutsu adversely affects the portion of the victim's brain that regulates vision. While the brain is disrupted, the victim is effectively rendered blind. Also, due to the fact that the darkness is brought about through an affliction of the user's own mind, rather than eyes, doujutsu users are not immune to this particular form of blindness. Base Duration: 3 posts
Shibirekan (Numbness) Similar to the skill Sameru, this jutsu weakens the brain’s connection with nerve endings. Unlike Dampen, this skill may target others. As a result, the victim finds himself unable to grip his weapons well, and the act of running can become difficult. However, the victim’s own sense of pain is also hampered, therefore allowing them to concentrate through wounds that would normally make rational thought difficult; though this also can cause the victim to misjudge the severity of his own wounds. Base Duration: 3 posts
Kamei no Koe (Voice of Command) Users of this jutsu are, by now, quite skilled at manipulation. Using the same process as in lower levels, they may make requests, or even give orders to their listeners. These listeners hear the user’s voice as a pleasant, well-spoken voice. Any that speak against the user sound harsh and crude. The listeners may even begin to feel hostility toward such people. However powerful the effects, though, they will still wear off after a period of time. Base Duration: 6 posts (After user has ceased speaking.)
Hakike (Nausea) This jutsu affects the target's sense of smell. By shutting down all but the most unpleasant of the nose's regions of scent, this technique effectively overloads the foe's brain with rancid, rotting, and unbearable smells. Due to the utter strength of the smells that are being perceived, it is not uncommon for even those with the strongest of stomachs to begin vomiting uncontrollably, and combat is in all cases greatly hampered by the overwhelming feeling of sickness that now dominates their body. Base Duration: 4 posts
Kyoufu no Koe (Voice of Terror) The user begins to take his vocalization skills down a different path to use this jutsu. The jutsu employs a combination of the concepts of Kamei no Koe and many other visual genjutsu. The user begins to tell a story, while keeping eye contact with the target. As long as the contact is held, the victim sees and feels himself acting out the events of the story. This jutsu may also be used on someone who is asleep, not requiring eye contact in this case. While asleep, the victim begins to dream the scenerio that the user plays out. This jutsu can be Kai’d if the victim is awake. Base Duration: Ends when user ceases speaking or if successfully Kai'd.
Fuyasu (Amplify) This rather insidious Genjutsu greatly distorts the hearing of the target, causing them to hear all noises to be roughly 150 decibels. When under the affects of this technique, even the most simple of sounds, such as the scrapping of your finger against a kunai, can become unbearably painful. The affects of this technique last for three posts, and the victim is then left disoriented and hard of hearing for an additional three posts. Base Duration: 6 posts (See description for special rules.)
Seiha no Koe (Voice of Domination) At this level, the user is incredibly skilled in the art of vocal manipulation, as well as persuasive speech. Anyone listening to him while using this technique would instantly feel that whatever the user says is true, and that they absolutely agree with him. A charging enemy will stop dead in his tracks, just to listen to the wonderful sound of the speaker’s voice. Oddly enough, it is more difficult to make an enemy retreat than to make him join your cause. Enemies ordered to retreat will often begin to weep and beg the user to let them stay. However, a listener will carry out nearly any request short of killing himself, or harming something very dear to him. The effect of this jutsu is slightly longer. Base Duration: 7 posts (After user has ceased speaking.)
Simple enough, a pair of hand seals activated a small realm of simple confusing sounds, not enough to confuse upper-level ninja, but enough for fun. {1/1}
Attempting this genjutsu on himself, Joey's sight became somewhat distorted as he was unsure of a bird in flight's position relative to his own. Shaking it off, he canceled it and felt rather foolish immediately following. {1/1}
Once again, a jutsu used on himself, once the final hand sign was completed, he could have sworn he was now an old TV that ran on an antenna in order to get shows in this day and age. Canceling it, he moved on. {1/1}
Trying this on himself, it was tunnel vision, which was actually rather amusing to his own due to the fact that he could see more than twice what the average person could. {1/1}
Another placed on himself, he actually rather enjoyed navigating around as he saw twenty trees where only three had been before, and could have sworn that he was looking at the same blade of grass fifty times over before it finally wore off. {1/1}
This one placed Jono in a weird state where he began running around until he wound up with his face buried in a nice oak while he thought he was completely off course from it. "Fun." {1/1}
Attempting this jutsu on himself, once inflicted, he couldn't remember what he used. In a rather paradoxical form, he had forced himself to forget the jutsu which he himself had learned at the exact same moment. {1/1}
Placing the genjutsu on himself, he found it rather entertaining as he tried to escape the box he was encased in, but to no avail. He even resorted to rubbing a cup against the bars, but still nothing. {1/1}
This one Joey dare not place on himself for risk of an endless loop that would end up killing him. This one allowed him to trap a target looking at his hands for as long as he held the seal, possibly lenient enough for a swift kick to the jaw while the target is trapped. {1/1}
Trying out this one, it wasn't effective, but he still egged to know it. Speaking "Bark." to his right, it popped into his left, proving a success. {1/1}
The next took effect as Joey began to try out a speech, "Friends, romans, countrymen...lend me your ears!" If he wasn't so sure he was insane, he could have sworn that the ants were clapping for him. {1/1}
Attempting this technique on himself, he suddenly felt a new wave of happiness sweep over him, wrapping him in a veil of...well, happy. {1/1}
Making this one a rather silly genjutsu to use, he made a number of mimes come and arrest him, police style, and shove him into what appeared to be a pumpkin carriage. When he finished, he realized he had wrecked a poor owl's home. {1/1}
Using this one on himself, Joey ordered a command, "Drink me!" After attempting to drink himself through the obvious pun, he marked it as a success and simply moved on. {1/1}
Targeting an ant this time, he snapped his fingers and saw it respond with a twitch before shattering the jutsu so as not to harm the ant in any form. {1/1}
Trying this on a nearby bird, it seemed to take no effect as he simply guessed bird's just seemed happy rather than always being happy. {1/1}
"Drink me!" Joey shouted as he activated a more powerful form of a previous genjutsu, but this time, he took it more seriously and attempted to consider liquefying his pinky to get the job done. {1/1}
This one was meant to be cast on one's self as he tried it and realized that he couldn't feel much. Beating himself up some, he felt nothing, until he peeled off the genjutsu like a band-aid and felt a sudden, sharp, stinging pain throughout his face. {1/1}
The same jutsu as the previous, this one simply afflicted on a nearby ant. {1/1} (Couldn't really do much without a good target, sowwy)
"DRINK ME!" He commanded and this time actually wound up back in his normal state of mind with his entire fist in his mouth. Joey definitely noticed the effectiveness of the jutsu climbing, but also had the problem of removing the fist from his mouth. {1/1}
Not thinking ahead, Joey placed himself under the genjutsu and looked around hand on hips. He felt on top of the world for the time being until out of nowhere, he shout a stream of green gush from his mouth. For a minute straight, it was nothing but pure vomit until he ran out and was able to cancel the jutsu. "Awesome..." {1/1}
Whipping out a mirror, he locked eyes and began to tell a story to himself. As the story developed, everything took set, three houses showed up, one made of straw, one of sticks, and the final from bricks. Long story short, Joey ended up paying a pig cop for indecent exposure. {1/1}
This one was to be tested upon a centipede as he tossed a shuriken into the ground far away, but watched the bug twitch in unbearable pain, unable to break away. Feeling bad already, he canceled it, not wanting to see it anymore. {1/1}
"DRINK ME!" Joey shouted as he seemed to blank out for a moment within his own mind. When awoken, he had somehow acquired a blender, an outlet, and his hand was deep within his fingernails getting a neat trim. "Note to self...do not use on self...got that self?" Finally done with everything, he packed up and decided to see if anything new had emerged.

Zarud appeared from his smoke. He then pulled out a scroll and begn to learn some jutsu.
Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.
Zarud poured a flask of water onto the ground and concentrated his chakra into it. After a couple minutes he was able to make water from the air to form steam or frost. [1/1]
Uo Tsuba (Fish Spit) Description: A simple jet of water shot from the mouth. It can hit with enough force to stun you if it hits properly. It can be done up to 5 times in succession, or one jet can be shot. To give an example of its power, Mist academy students usually use this technique to play a game much like tag.
Zarud then used this skill to absorb moisture from the air and turn it to water in his throat. He then spat it out his mouth, as it hit the wall it made a loud splash.[1/1]
Mizu Peretto (Water Pellet) Description: An enhanced Uo Tsuba, instead of a stream, it is a bullet that impacts the enemy at high speed (though with blunt force,) and it is roughly about the size of a fist.
Zarud did the same as last time. He concentrated more chakra into his throat before he spat out a larger ball of water at faster speeds. Causing a louder splash and a small crack.[1/1]
Suiton: Suihou no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Cannon Technique) Description: A move that lets the user spit a powerful beam of boiling water, strong enough to cut through wood and hot enough to scald flesh. Eventually, it becomes powerful enough to carve through stone.
Zarud once again harnessed water into his throat. He then increased the chakra flow considerably. [1/2]
As he released the blast the intense pressure behind it caused a much larger crack. He then turned his jutsu on a tree, cutting it in half. [2/2]
Zarud began to have another coughing fit before he released some more of his toxins "I hope that cure gets here soon...."

The only reason Kolo could come up with for Zarud having left the Office was to train, so he looked first at the training arena. As he walked in, he saw Zarud standing there. Kolo walked up to him, and told him, "You have a guest, in the Kage's office." He hoped that this man would train him in the mean time thpough, he wanted to prepare for the next Chuunin exam, be the strongest gennin there, so he could have no reason for losing.

Zarud turned to Kolo "I'll handle them later, but for now I believe we could prepare you for the next exams..." Zarud pulled up his sleeve to reveal a set of scrolls he selected one and openned it. He was always prepared with scrolls incase a mission required them. He then wrote down several jutsu onto the scroll before handing it to Kolo.
Academy: Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu (Wind Levitation) Description: Utilising and controlling the wind, the user is able to force the wind beneath an object in order to force it to rise up from the ground. The effectiveness of this jutsu is very much dependant upon the weight of the object in question, so large objects will take longer to lift, while lighter objects can be quickly lifted. Additionally, as the jutsu works by forcing wind beneath the targeted object, the higher the object gets, the harder it is to raise it any higher. The users control affects the speed at which they may raise an object, so while a person with only 5 control would be slow to raise a rock the size of a persons head, someone with a control of 40 could lift enormous boulders without showing significant sign of slowing. Only inanimate objects can be levitated.
Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill) Description: A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control. With the ability to control air currents the user can utilize them to their advantage when throwing projectiles such as kunai or shuriken, using the wind to aid the speed and trajectory of their weapon. Someone with a 5 in control would only be able to give it a slight boost in power, while someone with a control of 40 could make them fly twice as fast.
Genin: Boufuu Kyouzuu no Jutsu (Gale Surge) Description: A defensive jutsu at best. The user distils the air around him or her with his or her chakra and at the exact moment of attack releases a large burst of air. The blast of wind goes out three feet and knocks a victim back at least five feet and can stop projectiles. It is a defensive move that is usually used when the user is caught off guard. The wind can only be released in one direction however, and a cool down period of three posts is required before it can be used again.
Yadama Henshin Bakuha (Projectile Deflection Blast) Description: Building up a great amount of air in their chest, the user distils chakra to expel a great gust of wind directly from their mouth. The wind is not strong enough to push back something as solid as a human body but can deflect light projectiles such as kunai and shuriken.
Okuridashi Kaze (Propelling Winds) Description: Loosing a short blast of air from their hands, the user is able to propel themselves in the opposite direction with considerable force. This jutsu is ideally suited to Wind ninjutsu specialists, who often tend to favour avoidance of attacks rather than powerful defences, and can be used to either move very quickly to the side, or even propel themselves quite high into the air.
Kaze no Yoroi (Armor of Wind) Description: The user utilizes his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around himself. The wind forms a circle around the user, five feet in radius, so ten feet in diameter. The wind picks up debris and acts as armour for the user. The wind armour lasts for five posts. Debris on the ground strengthens the armour and projectiles thrown towards the wind also become part of the armour. A taijutsu user is useless against the armour. A genin who gets caught in the wind will become part of the armour, Chuunin will be knocked back five feet, and a Jounin will be knocked back two feet. An elemental jutsu is useless against the armour, but if one is used against the armour it weakens it greatly. Two posts after an elemental jutsu is used against the Kaze no Yoroi the armour is dispelled.

The user has to have been to the area before, and be able to sense the location with his own chakra before being able to transport himself there. Kaze Gyorai no Jutsu (Wind Torpedo) Description: The user gathers a large amount of wind into his lungs and expels it in a single blow, similar to the projectile deflection blast. This version however is significantly more devastating as the wind forms a torpedo that is near invisible that launches towards the opponent. Upon contact it explodes with the force of two exploding tags.

Kolo was shocked at all that Zarud had taight him. He was VERY pleased with this. He would be unstoppable! Nothing could possibly beat him, and he would make sure of that. He thought that he would only learning stuff for his rank and below, but he noticed a few CHuunin Jutsu as well, including one that will allwo him to transport, like what Zarud did with smoke. He knew that he would have to start now, so he would know he will have time to learn them. "Thank Zarud, this is amazing, I will not let hyou down." He said with a bow before he began training.

Academy: Kaze Fuuchuufuyuu (Wind Levitation) Description: Utilising and controlling the wind, the user is able to force the wind beneath an object in order to force it to rise up from the ground. The effectiveness of this jutsu is very much dependant upon the weight of the object in question, so large objects will take longer to lift, while lighter objects can be quickly lifted. Additionally, as the jutsu works by forcing wind beneath the targeted object, the higher the object gets, the harder it is to raise it any higher. The users control affects the speed at which they may raise an object, so while a person with only 5 control would be slow to raise a rock the size of a persons head, someone with a control of 40 could lift enormous boulders without showing significant sign of slowing. Only inanimate objects can be levitated.
Yadama Furooseigyo (Projectile Control Skill) Description: A basic skill for those learning to master the art of wind control. Kolo began from the top, with the academy level jutsus. The first one was Wind levitation. He started by focusing his chakra and using it to form wind to lift a rock that was present and nearby. It was roughly the size of his head, when he focused his wind underneath the rock, it levitated, slowly at first, but building in speed and strength. [1/1]
Kolo wanted to throw the rock with wind using the Wind Projectile skill, but decided that it would waste chakra he would need in later jutsus. He dropped the rock, and drew a kunai from his right shoulder pocket instead. He started by placing it on the ground, and using the Wind levitation to lift it to about eye level, and then tried to make the wind he was focusing with his chakra to make it fly into the wall of the arena. He was a little surprised to see that the kunai was there within seconds of him releasing it. He was very pleased with the affect. [1/1]

Kolo started his Genin level training with Gale Surge. It seemed pretty simple, he had to stop the air, and then push it away. He started by focusing his chakra and causing the air around him to thicken and hold eveything in place. He tested the effective ness by using the Wind Projectile control skill to bring back his kunai. When it got too close, it stopped in its place. He was satisfied with this, so he was going to start on the next part. [1/2]
Kolo had eveything in place, and was ready to make the kunai fly back towards the wall that it had come from. He focused his chakra, and in a huge burst of air, released it. He watched the kunai as it was blown back and landed in the wall once again. "This could come in handy for sure..." Kolo said as he began the next jutsu. [2/2]

Kolo wanted to do try Projectile deflection blast, because he was good at long ranged, and if someone were to try and throw something at him, he didn't want to be caught off guard. He used the Projeectile control skill to bring the Kunai back at him, it was coming very fast, so he hoped that the jutsu would work. [1/2]
Kolo focused his chakra very quickly, and released a gust of air from his mouth which caused the Kunai to go back and land somewhere in the dirt towards the wall. Kolo liked this because he could now defend himself from projectiles with out having to use Kawarimi no Jutsu. Although he could always just turn into smoke if the projectiles got too close. [2/2]

Kolo read how to do the Propelling Winds technique, which sounded really cool, he would be able to propel himselfg into the air. He decided though, that he would start simply by propelling himself to the side. He pointed his hands to the side, and focused his chakra into his hands where he then pushed himself to the side by releasing a gust of wind from them. [1/2]
Kolo now wanted to raise himself of the ground, so he pointed his palms downward, then focused his chakra. After he felt that he had enough chakra to raise himself off the ground, Kolo released the chakra, and found himself a good 10 feet off the ground. [2/2]

Kolo gently alighted on the ground, then began on the last gennin level jutsu he was going to learn for now. He wanted to have the armor because it would defned him from close ranged attacks, which were his weakness. He began by focusing his chakra into a small whirlwind. After he got a whirlwind, he was going to pick it up in speed, and try and make a defnse. [1/2]
Kolo now had a good sized whirlwind which he was going to try and make an inpentrable armor around himself to deflect attacks. He had a constant flow of chakra flowing into the shield. Soon the shield was impossible to gert out, but it was almost see though, helping him to lure in unsuspecting genin to help strengthen his shield. [2/2]

Kolo already knew the Wind Torpedo, so he just started to learn the Wind Instantaneous Body Skill. He would have to focus his chakra into making himself into wind itself. This feat would be the hardest pull off he imagined. He started by focusing his chakra into the air around him, then focused it onto himself. He focused on making himself into air. He could not go far, but he could go places. [1/5]
Kolo looked at himself, and noticed that he was dissapearing into a gist of wind. It was a slow process, most likely because it didn't have enaough chakra. He focused more chakra into the jutsu, and saw the reaction speed up. He tried to move, but saw that he was still taking steps. He realized he would have to use chakra when he was fully dissolved. [2/5]
Kolo was completely invisible now, and tried to move. He didn't know exactly how he would pull off this feat, but he knew that he had too. He also, he knew, had to keep his chakra focused on making him as thin as air, literally. He had to basically split his chakra into two different actions. He tried to continue focusing on the dissapearance, and then focus on moving. [3/5]
Kolo had the concentration part down, but making himself move was still lingering just outside his grasp. He tried to remember how Zarud had done it, all he had done was vanish, that gave Kolo absolutely no help. He tried to do something like the Projectile Control skill, but on himself. He felt himself move a little bit, but he would need more chakra he were to go enywhere fast. [4/5]
Using more chakra, Kolo felt himself being pushed towards the wall of the arena. He was rapidly approaching the wall, and realized that he couldn't stop. He tried to cover his face with his arms, and clos his eyes. The waiting for the impact was kilkling him, so he opened his eyes, and realized that he had passed through the wall. He propelled himself back into the arena and towards Zarud. When he was alongside him, he dropped the jutsu and said, "That could come in handy if I need to run from a fight really fast." [5/5]

"Wind Instantaneous Body Skill is very similair to my Smoke Instantaneous Body Skill... With one difference. The wind allows you to escape silently. As for the smoke, its best used if the opponent is running at you. That way when you fade into smoke they will pass through the remaining wisps they will inhale the poison..." Zarud had another coughing fit, before releasing some more toxins with a smoke jutsu. "Now lets go meet this person looking for me...." With that he vanished in a cloud of smoke.

After Kolo had finished his training, he decided that he would return to Kai's office, hoping that Zarud would finally take him somewhere else. He used his Wind INstantaneous Body skill to vanish into wind and travel into the office.
