A white creature with unique red and blue patterns surfaced from the dark, cool waters of a lake. She lived near the large amount of water, but her home was well hidden so even her keen violet eyes couldn't spot it from where she was floating in the lake. Using her tail to steer, she dove back under the water. She enjoyed the way the water coursed gently around her body and through her sleek fur. Not long after, Nadine's head resurfaced, bobbing above the water. Maybe she didn't have to leave the lake just yet.

Jigsaw blinked into the bright morning sunlight. She had just woken up and was planning on heading down to the lake for a swim. The day was supposed to get much warmer, making it the perfect day for a trip to the cool waters that weren't too far away from her den. After stretching out her legs, the female walked happily through the trees and other foliage, enjoying the morning scents and the feel of the dew clinging to her legs and paws. Pausing at the end of the forest cover, Jigsaw peered out to gaze at the glistening waters of the lake. From her spot she could just make out the white fur of another creature already in the lake. Curious now, Jigsaw walked onto the sandy beach, a smile playing on her mouth as the warming sand shifted under her weight and wriggled in between her toes.
