This is a normal-looking town, neighboring the mines. From a distance, the town looks completely normal. Closer, though, the only difference is that the town is unoccupied, with barely any activity. Homes are intact, just weathered slightly.

Inferno comes out of the woods and stumbles upon what seems to be a once inhabited town. "Hmm... I wonder what town this was." he asks himself. He looks over at one of the houses. The door is left open. Its probably due to the lack of a lock and/or torture of the weather. He walkes over to investigate.

Beni watched over the guest from the rooftop of the building with its doors open. The sound of footsteps had alerted Beni long ago, and since he has monitored the activity of this 'guest.' Though the town did not belong to either of them, nor did either live here, Beni was there first. Still watching, he kept his presence secret. He'd wait for the other to go inside.

He examines the lock on the door. The mechanism is rusted an broken. Rain water must have gotten into it somehow and wore it down. He decides to walk in to get an idea of what was left here. Maybe he could find something of use for later.

Beni shook his head. Not only did he not even notice the person on the top of the very building he entered, but he barged in uninvited. Such an act would not sit very well with Beni. He decided he would drop in and say hello. From the rooftop, he quickly bent down, grabbing the edge of the roof, and swung his legs down, facing inward. He loosened his grip, and planted his feet on the floor firmly, looking in. He blocked the main exit this way.
"You should not be here; This home does not belong to you. So what should be said about you? Should I say you were a no-good thief? Or a low-life scavenger? Perhaps you will find it in yourself to persuade me against enforcing your punishment. Or perhaps you will just use your charisma to sway me. Whatever you decide, do it quickly, while you still have the chance."
He stood in a fashion that revealed his sword. Yet, it was not drawn, and both hands were at his side. There were many different conclusions to come to about this. Perhaps that he was being cocky; Perhaps he meant to intimidate, but not threaten. Perhaps, even, this was a half way point: The right move being a step toward freedom, the wrong move being a step toward a fight.

Inferno turned around quickly to see the blue robed man standing before him. He loosened the grip on his handgun and returned his hands to his side.
"Ah, maybe this place still has some activity to it after all. Don't get the wrong idea about my actions. I've been working for a special "organization" and am required to do such things if the situation calls for it."
He extended his right hand and index figer towards the stranger. "And why might you be here, stranger?"

Beni took in a small breath, then turned only his head lightly to the side, as if to think. There was not much to think about in this matter, however. "I am not a man to be trifled with, and that is all you will need to know. However, I would not mind hearing more about this 'organization' of yours. You may keep from revealing the name, but to what purpose would you scavenge homes unattended? Might they miss their valuables if they returned?" His words were cold, to provoke shame, which was exactly what he thought the stranger should feel.

Inferno shook his head. "If you seriously desire several knives in the back, as well as several in mine, I suggest dropping the issue entirely. I am closely being monitored, and the only thing you need to know about my 'organization' is that we put things in what we call a little 'lost and found' box as you might call it."
He reduced his tone to that of a near whisper and took a step towards the stranger. he shifted his eyes from left to right to see if there were any signs of spie activity.
"I'm only doing what I'm told. I can't say I agree with the situation either, but if you want, you can tag along. I just can't plain say anything out loud too much until we find a secure location. Even then we have a short time to discuss things."
Inferno turned his head to the right, and started to look about, scanning for specific items that he was ordered to retrieve.

Beni closed his eyes, and shook his head, smiling. "That was not enough charisma, I'm afraid. And do you truly not think I can hold my own?" He took a pause to ponder it. "...And then to be so bold as to invite me to join you? You must surely be joking!" His voice escalated slowly as he came to the final sentence. His voice was elevated and steady volume at the end. "Such a pathetic attempt, but if this is truly what you have to offer, then I pity you. Leave my sight before I change my mind."

Alerted by the sudden outburst that might give him away, he quickly explained.
"shut up, you fool! I never invited you to join me for this, rather to give you more information. I would never want to get you to get involved with my situatioin. Your the one that asked about it, so just be a good boy and shut your trap. We'll get a lot farther if you drop your absurd behavior!"

Beni looked toward him, puzzled. "We? I am not with you. I will not be involved. Above all, I will not be commanded. I told you I am not a man to be trifled with, so leave now." His tone was deep, authoritative, but not loud. He meant no harm to this person if he would only comply.

Inferno lowered his eyelids partly as if to glare for a moment before continuing to converse with the stranger.
"I don't like being ordered around either, just so you know. If your not satisfied with my responses, then how about we settle things in a more... legal manner? You ask me a question, and I'll answer it to the greatest extent as I can.
I can't guarantee your satisfaction, but on the other hand, I don't really care what you think of it. An answer is an answer, so do you have any questions, stranger?"

Beni smirked. "No. I have already asked my questions, now I only make statements. For example: You are intruding in this home. I only command you to leave on the basis that you did not belong here in the first place. I, however, have done no wrong here yet. I will have no objections to continuing this conversation once you have left the building."

Inferno sighed and shook his head.
"I know you're trying to be the better person here, but there's just one problem. I was sent here. Whether you like it or not, I'm staying here. If you have any problems with that, tough, I could care less. Just stay out of my way until I'm done."
At that, he turned around and continued looking around, trying to find any clues.

Beni drew his sword, and thrust it into a wall, the flat surface being nearly up against the stranger's head. "I have a problem with it. Perhaps this will make you care?" He removed the sword from the wall, and a part of it rattled. A secret compartment was revealed with a locked box and a picture. The picture was of an entire family, and one who looked to not belong. It was a man with white hair, and large, white eyes. The man in the picture was the same one standing next to the intruder. "Understand? You are not welcome here with your ill intent."
