The Grid is an urban area, mostly buildings and streets, with some apartment buildings here and there. Once it was heavily populated, full of small businesses and friendly faces, but in the past 20 years many of the humans have migrated out of the area, leaving behind a dead shell of city.
There is still food to be had here, but many common feeding places have disappeared over time. Staticats who live in this area have a hard time of everything, but are either too weak or too stubborn to leave. An even smaller number guard the few places they have claim to with their lives, attacking any who might come a-begging.
Since this area is so large, and lorded over by many different clans, all clans are 'welcome' here so long as they aren't bothering anyone else.
But keep in mind that certain areas around The Stacks are the main territories of certain clans.
North: Lake Walkers
South: Greyn
East: Derth (by simply being close to that area)
West: Mac (again, by simply being close to that area)
Cricks and Flimflams may live anywhere with out trouble, Casters usually wouldn't leave their area to hang out in The Grid.
